Police investigate Hialeah crash involving police cruiser
Police are investigating a crash involving a Hialeah police cruiser on Wednesday afternoon.
Images from Chopper 4 showed the police vehicle overturned outside the Villa Aida Adult Center, located at 20 W 6th Street.
Hialeah Fire-Rescue officials said the officer in the overturned vehicle was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The intersection was cordoned off with police tape as authorities responded to the scene.
A white Mercedes-Benz sedan with front-end damage was also visible at the scene.
No word if the driver of the white Mercedes had been injured.
