Oasis' kids prove they're closer than ever as Liam and Noel Gallagher's offspring reunite for 'pic of the century' ahead of fathers' first Manchester show
Liam and Noel Gallagher 's children proved that they're closer than ever as they reunited for the 'pic of the century' ahead of their fathers' first Manchester show. Wrapping their arms around each other back stage at Heaton Park on Friday, Liam's youngest child, Gene, 24, shared a photo to Instagram. He was joined by his brother Lennon, 25, and cousins, Noel's daughter Anais, 25, and his sons Donovan, 17, and Sonny, 14. Gene captioned the photo: 'Pic of the century, alright? now everyone els (sic) f**k off'.' Notably missing from the picture was Liam's daughter, Molly, 27. Liam shares Gene with Nicole Appleton and later welcomed Lennon with Patsy Kensit. Noel shares Anais with Meg Mathews, and her brothers Sonny, 15, and Donovan, 18, with Sara MacDonald. Liam is currently engaged to Debbie Gwyther and have been together since 2013, meanwhile Noel is dating Sally Mash. Gene is a member of unsigned band Villanelle and they supported Noel on his last solo tour. He has been writing songs for a number of years and also recalled his famous father encouraging him to get in on the music scene - but on the condition that he was good. He noted that he was only given the change to open for his dad earlier last year if he was good after being warned that he would only 'cringe' if his performance was not up to scratch. Oasis are set to play in front of 80,000 people in their home city of Manchester on Friday after kicking off their world reunion tour in Cardiff last week. The shows at Heaton Park - a 600-acre public park in Bury and Manchester - are the only UK shows held outside a stadium, with the others taking place at the Principality Stadium, Wembley and Murrayfield. Fans started queuing hours before the gates opened at Heaton Park with attendees facing a 90-minute wait for trams at Victoria Station. People were seen camped out as the queue formed by the side of the road, with a sea of camp chairs and bucket hats. With temperatures of 28 degrees in Manchester, roasting hot revellers were seen fanning themselves or sheltering from the sun under umbrellas. Excited fans were seen gathering in huge crowds as they awaited the gates opening for the show. And to their delight, they did open early - with fans able to get into the park to get a good spot for the show, five hours ahead of the band taking to the stage. In the city centre concert goers faced a 90-minute wait for trams with fans voicing their concerns on X. According to Manchester Evening News, transport staff informed the public to order taxis or walk from Victoria Station to Heaton Park. The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August, starting with two dates in Cardiff, before heading across the UK and Ireland. News coverage of Oasis concerts including Manchester has been affected by the decision of band management to impose unacceptable specific restrictions on Press photography inside venues.

'It's monumental': Liam Gallagher's son 'can't wait' to see his dad back performing with Oasis, Entertainment News
Liam Gallagher's son Lennon Gallagher "can't wait" to see his dad back onstage with Oasis. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have ended years of estrangement to get the band back together for the Oasis Live '25 Tour — which kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on Friday night (July 4) — and 25-year-old model Lennon, who was just nine years old when the band split in 2009 — has admitted he's going to go to as many tour dates as possible. He added to W magazine: "I can't wait. It's a massive, monumental thing, and it's going to be fantastic." Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais, also 25, will be photographing the band's tour and she's admitted she barely remembers their performances when she was a child as she was more interested in the sweet treats they kept backstage. She added to the publication: "I have memories of being super young at shows and falling asleep with ear defenders on ... The only thing I cared about was how many packets of Milky Way chocolate stars were in the dressing room." Lennon's younger brother Gene, 23, has followed dad Liam into the music industry and fronts and band called Villanelle and he's thrilled that rock music seems to be making a comeback along with Oasis. He added to W: "People have been deprived of guitar music. But now it's coming back, and everyone's getting excited about it." Liam is dad to Lennon — with first wife Patsy Kensit — and Gene with his second wife Nicole Appleton. He is also father to daughter Molly from a previous relationship with singer Lisa Moorish as well as Gemma with journalist Liza Ghorbani. Molly recently confirmed she's pregnant with her first child with her footballer partner Nat Phillips — meaning Liam is likely to become a first-time grandfather while Oasis are back on the road. The Oasis Live '25 Tour starts in the UK in Cardiff on July 4 and will head to North America, South Korea, Japan, Australia and South America, where it will conclude in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 25. Gene Gallagher reveals his VERY down-to earth rider request as he prepares to support his father Liam on Oasis tour
Gene Gallagher is gearing up to support his father and uncle on their reunion tour - and he'll be greeted with a very humble rider request at each stadium. Liam Gallagher 's youngest son Gene, 24, based in London, is said to be one of the acts supporting Oasis on their sell-out reunion tour with indie rock group Villanelle, which he fronts. Before news broke, Gene reportedly confided in friends that he will be one of ten warm-up acts when his father, 52, and uncle Noel, 58, take to the stage. An insider told MailOnline at the time: 'Gene is supporting Oasis. He's been telling a few people and he's really excited. He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.' And now that Gene's upgrading from small, local venues to stadiums welcoming thousands, he'll be able to reap the benefits - including putting his pre-show requests in a rider. But in a 2024 interview with The Face, the singer revealed his down to earth requirements, which include Birds Eye fish fingers and premium lager. He said after doing a local gig in Nottingham, 'For these shows, it's usually just beer they give us. But for the Definitely Maybe shows, I'm gonna get some fish finger sandwiches on there. 'I'm craving those. The proper orange, Birds Eye ones – with ketchup. And some premium lagers – Asahi.' Discussing his career hopes, Gene, who is from Liam's six-year marriage to the All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, previously said: 'I want to be the biggest band in the world.' Gene is no stranger to life on the road, and his band spent much of last year touring small UK venues. The Mail revealed Gene and his cousin, Anaïs, 24, who is Noel's daughter, played a major part in reuniting the warring brothers for the tour - 15 years after they last played together. Liam's time with his youngest son brought them closer together and a source said: 'Liam has seen the passion the younger generation have for the Oasis tracks. Some of them weren't even born when the band split. 'It hadn't dawned on Noel and Liam until recently that their own kids had never properly seen them together. They didn't want to wait until it was too late to show them why they are Britain's biggest band.' Meanwhile, Gene's older half-brother, Lennon, from Liam's marriage to the actress Patsy Kensit, and his band, Automotion, have not been called up to support their father. Speaking about his sons' bands in 2019, the Live Forever singer said: 'They're both eyeing each other up... from across the room. Gene has got a little band and Lennon has got a little band, they're sort of working it out. 'Lennon's music is a bit more spaced out, like early Verve, pretty chilled. Whereas Gene is more like in-your-face, Arctic Monkeys style. Go for it I say.' After 15 years, the brothers will finally reunite for 41 shows across Europe and the 900,000 fans who have eagerly snapped up tickets will not be disappointed with the set list which is crammed with the nineties band's classics. Opening with Acquiesce - a song from their first 1995 album, they will follow with Morning Glory the titular song of the second studio album with Supersonic playing sixth. Elsewhere Liam and Noel will play Half the World Away, Slide Away, Live Forever before finishing with their three most popular songs Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. And ahead of the highly-anticipated evening, footage and pictures from a special drone show over Cardiff Principality enticed. The duo lit up the sky with brightly coloured drones which spelt out the word 'OASIS'. It comes after a supermarket is celebrating the long anticipated Oasis comeback with a very special tribute to the Britpop band - and it's sure to catch the attention of devoted fans. Tapping into the musicians' northern roots, Aldi has rebranded one of its locations in Manchester to be pronounced with the distinctive Mancunian accent Noel and Liam Gallagher are known and loved for. The store - now labelled as 'Aldeh' to signal a phonetic change - is sure to delight shoppers in the Bury New Road store in Prestwich, where many will likely be stopping by ahead of the group's concert in nearby Heaton Park, taking place from 11th to 20th of July. The performances, kicking off this weekend, have come after years of reunion rumours repeatedly squashed by the notoriously feuding musicians. Oasis kick off their reunion gigs on 4th July, and will be playing in their home city at Heaton Park from 11th –20th July. 'Manchester is a vibrant city with a rich musical history, and with the Oasis reunion, we wanted to mark the occasion,' said Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK. 'By temporarily renaming our Bury New Road store to "Aldeh", we're celebrating both the local dialect and the legendary band that has brought so much joy to fans worldwide.' As part of the Oasis celebrations, the supermarket has also launched a new range of Aldimania Bucket Hats (£4.99) which will be on sale in stores nationwide from 3rd July, while stocks last.
