The Westbury Hotel, located off Grafton Street in Dublin, has been voted number one in Dublin in the 2025 Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards. Vincent O'Gorman, General Manager of The Westbury said: "We are incredibly honoured to have been named Travel + Leisure readers' favourite hotel in Dublin this year. "The Westbury team are very proud to create meaningful and memorable experiences for each guest, and this is a wonderful recognition of that dedication. I wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our guests for their continued support." In addition to this accolade, The Westbury ranked number 12 in the 30 Best City Hotels in Europe list while The Merrion Hotel ranked number 14. Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare in Kerry ranked number 14 in the 30 Best Resorts in Europe. Nearly 180,000 Travel + Leisure readers also shared their thoughts on the top hotels and resorts globally, casting more than 657,000 votes across more than 8,700 properties. For the second year in a row, only one US hotel cracked the top 10, which is otherwise dominated by safari lodges (No 1 and Beyond Bateleur Camp and No 3 Mfuwe Lodge, The Bushcamp Company), as well as far-flung island resorts (Joali Maldives at No 7 and newcomer Nay Palad in the 10th spot).
