UNCAPTIONED: Naomi Campbell praises Miley Cyrus for dedication to fans after backlash
Naomi Campbell praises Miley Cyrus for dedication to fans after backlash. The supermodel showed her support for the singer after she was accused of being rude to fans at a vinyl signing event in London over the weekend. Naomi attended the event to celebrate the release of Miley's recently released single, Every Girl You've Ever Loved, which features spoken verses from the model. However, shortly afterwards, fans took to social media to claim that the stars were "rude" and only interested in each other. In a new Instagram post, Naomi seemingly responded to the criticism, praising the Flowers hitmaker for her "graciousness" towards fans. '@mileycyrus what a fun... signing. Thank you for having me by your side to celebrate the Every Girl You've Ever Loved vinyl release in London.' "What a joy to spend the night with you in my hometown - your energy is infectious, your memory and graciousness is unreal with our fans, you had me laughing all night.' The runway star concluded the caption by thanking fans for joining them at the event. 'To everyone who came out to the signing: thank you. We felt your love and adored meeting you. If you couldn't make it, the vinyl is available now - SHOW US YOUR POSES THIS SUMMER!' Miley, 32, also took to Instagram after the signing to express her gratitude to Naomi. '@naomi thank you for celebrating the Every Girl You've Ever Loved vinyl release day with me. Laughing with you is my favorite. I'll miss you until we reunite. Love you forever.' The former Disney star also thanked her fans for their support, writing, "Thank you to everyone who showed up to the signing, we adored meeting you.' Every Girl You've Ever Loved appears on Miley's new album Something Beautiful. Naomi also stars in the single's music video. Vinyl team to bring Mexican flavors and mezcal to South End with Mi Cariño
Mi Cariño is a new Mexican-Latin restaurant opening in South End this fall. Why it matters: It'll occupy the former VANA space on the prominent intersection of South Tryon Street and West Summit Avenue, which has been vacant for nearly two years. Catch up quick: Mi Cariño is the latest project by B-Side Hospitality Group, the team behind Vinyl, one of Charlotte's most popular bars. They acquired the lease in 2023 and have been considering options for the space since then — they aim to open something missing from that section of South End, which is mostly dominated by bars. Mi Cariño will be a "chef-driven, gastro-cantina" with a "mezcaleria bar program," B-Side Group partner Ankoor Patel tells Axios. Dig in: The menu is still being developed, but culinary director Vince Giancarlo says it'll be heavily inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine, with inspiration from West Coast flavors and dishes found in cities like Los Angeles. "We're coining it 'left coast Latino,'" he says. B-Side Group beverage director Henry Schmulling will create the cocktail menu, which will be heavily influenced by agave spirits like tequila, rare mezcals and lesser-known spirits like raicilla, sotol and bacanora. The vibe: Depending on the time of your visit, your experience inside the intimate 2,350-square-foot space might differ. Its owners hope it'll transition seamlessly from a first-class restaurant during the day to a late-night upscale lounge. "We hear a lot of complaints from people who can't find a place for a good nightcap," says B-Side Group partner Kamal Patel, adding he hopes Mi Cariño will be that place. At a certain hour, the music will go up, the mezcal will continue to flow and the party will have already begun. "Our goal is to create a space where the service is thoughtful, the food and drink are exceptional, and the atmosphere invites you to stay awhile," Kamal says. Stop by: Mi Cariño will be at 1440 S Tryon St., on the same strip as Vinyl and Wooden Robot.

Legendary ‘60s Rock Band Still Holds Album Record 50 Years Later
Legendary '60s Rock Band Still Holds Album Record 50 Years Later originally appeared on Parade. Over 50 years after its release, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon still holds one of the most impressive records in Billboard history. The legendary 1973 album, which includes iconic tracks like 'Money,' 'Us and Them' and 'The Great Gig in the Sky," has spent 989 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. Recently, The Dark Side of the Moon made a notable jump from No. 42 to No. 24 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart, which only counts physical purchases. The numbers prove fans aren't just streaming the album — they're still buying it in droves, even decades later. With vinyl making a major comeback, the record also landed at No. 15 on the Vinyl Albums Chart. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 In terms of overall sales, The Dark Side of the Moon continues to outshine the competition. With over 45 million copies sold worldwide, it's surpassed classic albums like The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Michael Jackson's Bad. When Pink Floyd, made up of David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Roger Waters, first introduced the album in 1973, the title wasn't guaranteed. Another band, Medicine Head, had released an album called The Dark Side of the Moon a year earlier, nearly forcing Pink Floyd to scrap the name altogether. 'We were annoyed because we had already thought of the title before the Medicine Head album came out,' Gilmour reportedly once said. Fortunately for Pink Floyd, Medicine Head's version didn't gain traction — and the iconic title was up for grabs. If things had gone differently, the album might've been called Eclipse, according to the guitarist. While reflecting on the album's lasting impact, Wright explained why it continues to resonate with fans in a 2001 interview. 'I think it is a combination of the lyrics and the feeling of some of the music with the lyrics. Obviously, that's what makes a good song," he said. Adding, "I think it's the continuity of it, this kind of whole musical and lyrical story, if you like. It all made sense and even some songs weren't related to the other. 'Money' wasn't related to 'Us and Them', or whatever.' Legendary '60s Rock Band Still Holds Album Record 50 Years Later first appeared on Parade on Jun 7, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 7, 2025, where it first appeared.

King Charles and Queen Camilla joined by Mick Jagger at star-studded Versailles banquet I told in January that the Stones' plans for a summer tour in Europe had been put on ice. They told me at the time: 'There had been hope the gigs would take place this summer but it's not worked out and now it's been shelved. 'Mick, Keith and Ronnie love to perform live shows so there is a hope that the promoters can lock in dates for next year.' I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
