Heavy rain disrupt traffic flow & cause waterlogging in Nashik city

Nashik: Sunday afternoon brought heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds, causing significant disruption across Nashik city. Around 20 trees were uprooted, leading to traffic snarls, while branches from eight to nine other trees fell in various areas, adding to the chaos. "The road from ITI traffic signal towards Khutwad Nagar and another road near Prakash Bakery in Satpur witnessed traffic jams for over an hour, causing much inconvenience," said industrialist Manish Rawal, adding, "Most parts of Cidco and Satpur also witnessed power failure for over three hours."Four vehicles — three four-wheelers and a rickshaw — were damaged in separate incidents after uprooted trees fell on them.
