ICAI CA Topper 2025: Meet Vrinda Agarwal, Who Secured Rank 1 In CA Foundation Without Coaching

Two sisters from Ghaziabad have achieved remarkable success in ICAI's CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations. Vrinda Agarwal, a resident of Rajnagar Extension, secured the All India No. 1 rank in CA Foundation, while her elder sister Tulsi achieved the first position in the district in CA Intermediate. Their father, Nitin Agarwal, is a tax advocate. The entire family, including their father Nitin Agarwal, is extremely happy with the outstanding achievements of both daughters. He shared that Vrinda began preparing for CA Foundation while she was in the 12th class. After her 12th class exams, she focused entirely on CA Foundation. Vrinda Agarwal, the CA Foundation topper, mentioned that she studied for about 7-8 hours daily, following the ICAI syllabus, and scored 90.5 per cent (362 marks out of 400). She did not rely on coaching for her preparation; instead, she utilised YouTube and other internet platforms, along with self-study. Her father also assisted her in her preparation. Vrinda, who passed the 12th commerce stream from Chhabildas School this year, achieved 98 per cent marks. Her elder sister Tulsi secured the first position in Ghaziabad district with 404 marks out of 600 in CA Inter. Tulsi had scored over 98 per cent in the 12th commerce stream last year. Both sisters credited their parents for their success and excellent preparation. According to the result statistics provided by ICAI, 82,662 candidates took the Foundation course exam, with 12,474 candidates passing, resulting in an overall pass rate of 15.09 per cent. Examining the gender breakdown, 43,389 male candidates appeared for the exam, of which 7,056 passed, achieving a pass rate of 16.26 percent. Similarly, 39,273 female candidates took the exam, with 5,418 passing, yielding a pass rate of 13.80 per cent. Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar from Mumbai scored 359 out of 400 marks, equating to 89.75 per cent, earning him the second rank nationwide. ICAI CA Foundation Result 2025: Check results, passing percentage, toppers and other details
ICAI CA Foundation Result 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) released the results for CA foundation exams on July 6, 2025. The exams took place in May 2025. Candidates who appeared for this exam can check the results on the official ICAI website. Links to the official websites are as follows: Passing percentage statistics A total of 82,662 candidates appeared for the CA exams across India at 551 centres out of which 12,474 candidates qualified for the next level, thus giving out a passing percentage of about 15.09 % overall. 43,389 male candidates and 39,273 female candidates sat for the CA intermediate and final exams out of which 16.26 % males and 13.8 % females passed, i.e. 7,056 male students and 5,418 female students passed. How to check the result? Step 1: Visit or Step 2: Click on the tab that says results. Step 3: Enter credentials like roll number, registration number and captcha code to log in. Step 4: Click submit to view the results and download the hard copy for future reference. Top 3 candidates Roll number 583259 or Vrinda Agarwal from Ghaziabad is said to hold the top rank in the exams with 362 marks out of 400 with an aggregate percentage of 90.5 %. Roll number 613242 or Yadnesh Rajesh Sarkar from Mumbai holds the second rank with 359 marks out of 400 and an aggregate of 89.75 %. Roll Number 637725 or Shardul Shekhar Vichare from Thane holds the third rank with 358 marks out of 400 and an aggregate of 89.5 %. The exams were held on May 15, 17, 19 and 21 for paper 1 (accountancy), paper 2 (business law), paper 3 (quantitative aptitude – business mathematics, logical reasoning and statistics) and paper 4 (business economics), respectively. The ICAI CA Foundation result statement of marks will be sent by post, after the declaration of CA result.
