WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Results As Jade Cargill Wins Queen Of The Ring

More Images) Jade Cargill is WWE's newest Queen of the Ring after the biggest win of her career at Night of Champions 2025. 'The Storm' defeated Asuka in the finals of the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament to inch one step closer to her first singles championship in WWE. In the most important match of her young WWE career, Cargill planted 'The Empress of Tomorrow' with a massive Jaded finisher out of nowhere to punch her ticket to SummerSlam. The two stars battled in a match largely dominated by Asuka, but ultimately, Cargill stood tall after hitting her finisher to cap off a mediocre QOTR finals match. With the victory, Cargill will now go on to face the WWE Women's Champion, currently Tiffany Stratton, at WWE's first-ever two-night SummerSlam in August. WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Results for Jade Cargill vs. Asuka Cargill pinned Asuka at WWE Night of Champions despite having a rough go-round getting out of the gate. Among the key highlights of the WWE Queen of the Ring finals were: The 2025 WWE Queen of the Ring tournament began with four Fatal 4-way matches, won by Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Cargill and Roxanne Perez, respectively. In the pair of semifinals matches, Asuka defeated Bliss while Cargill toppled Perez to set up the highly anticipated finals between Asuka and Cargill. With Asuka just returning from an extended layoff and having a lengthy history with Raw's Women's World Champion Iyo Sky, Asuka and Cargill entered the QOTR finals in a 'pick 'em' battle that seemingly could have gone either way. But Cargill has been protected throughout her run on WWE's main roster, and WWE seems to have huge creative plans for her in the months ahead. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Preview After Jade Cargill Wins Queen of the Ring Tournament The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer recently shed some light on why he believed Cargill would win the Queen of the Ring finals at WWE Night of Champions 2025. On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Wrestling Inc), Meltzer said, ""Jade was supposed to be, if she hadn't gotten hurt, Jade was supposed to be champion by WrestleMania. And defending it at WrestleMania. Not [win it] at WrestleMania, but before WrestleMania." While Cargill's injury derailed those championship plans temporarily, her career appears to be back on track. Cargill's win over Asuka at WWE Night of Champions, albeit in a somewhat sloppy performance, was her biggest singles victory to date, and with that win, she's just weeks away from getting a shot at SmackDown's WWE Women's Championship. Why is that so intriguing? Well, SmackDown's Naomi, Cargill's most hated rival, is currently holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, making her a virtual shoo-in to be the world champion in the near future. Cargill's win over Asuka only makes it clearer where WWE should take Naomi's storyline. The best bet here is that Cargill beats Stratton at SummerSlam only for Naomi to instantly cash in on Cargill and take the WWE Women's title from her. Alternatively, Naomi could conceivably cash in during the match, prevent Cargill from beating Stratton and then pin Stratton herself. Regardless of the specifics, Cargill's massive victory in the Queen of the Ring finals at WWE Night of Champions almost certainly will reignite her feud with Naomi at SummerSlam.

Liv Morgan injury update: WWE star will 'miss several months' after shoulder injury

WWE star Liv Morgan will 'miss several months of action' after she suffered a shoulder injury. The announcement was made by commentator Corey Graves during Monday Night Raw on June 23. It was expected Morgan would miss significant time as a result of her injury, but the severity of it was unknown. Morgan is also one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Advertisement The plans on the titles haven't been announced, as Rodriguez could either continue the reign alongside someone else or the titles could be vacated. There is a chance Rodriguez and Morgan could hold onto the championships until Morgan returns. Liv Morgan during the Women's Royal Rumble during the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 at Lucas Oil Stadium. What happened to Liv Morgan? Morgan suffered the injury in a match with Kairi Sane during Monday Night Raw on June 16. In the early stages of the contest, Sane dropped to her knees to perform a single-leg takedown. Morgan went face first on the mat and her right shoulder also hit the ground. Morgan immediately yelled in pain and rolled out of the ring as the referee prevented Sane from performing any other move. Advertisement Medical personnel came to check on Morgan outside of the ring, and the match was eventually called off as Morgan was escorted out of the arena. Sane was declared winner by forfeit. Liv Morgan return: When could she come back? While the severity of Morgan's injury is unknown, Morgan won't be appearing in WWE in the foreseeable future. Morgan was scheduled to attend Fanatics Fest in New York City on June 20-22, but was pulled from the event after her injury. A shoulder dislocation can sideline athletes for months. The timeline of return depends on the severity of the injury and whether surgery is necessary. The Mayo Clinic says the shoulder would improve "over a few weeks" if surgery is not needed, but if surgery is performed, full recovery can take five to six months. Advertisement Shoulder injuries have been an issue for the two-time Women's World Champion. In 2023, Morgan missed six months of action after she dislocated her shoulder in a match with Rhea Ripley, which turned out to be a labrum tear and she required surgery. Should Morgan miss around five months, she would return around the same time as Survivor Series on Nov. 29, or could possibly wait to return at Royal Rumble in January 2026, similar to how she did in 2024. Morgan was in her fourth reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez, a record for the title. The duo won the titles at Raw After WrestleMania on April 21 and they lost them to Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch one day earlier at WrestleMania 41. WWE star Chelsea Green celebrates 10th anniversary of Tough Enough fail

The post WWE star Chelsea Green celebrates 10th anniversary of Tough Enough fail appeared first on ClutchPoints. Sometimes, it takes several opportunities to make it in professional wrestling, as former WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green knows after competing on Tough Enough. Advertisement On Sunday, June 15, 2025, Green celebrated the 10th anniversary of her failed tryout for WWE's Tough Enough reality series. She posted several pictures of herself at the Performance Center as well as a screenshot of a message she posted on Facebook. 'Wow, it has been a VERY long 7 days… I will finally be on my way home from Orlando tomorrow,' her post from June 15, 2015, began. 'I didn't end up making the final cast of Tough Enough. But I've got plenty of amazing opportunities coming up that I can't wait to share!! 'Good luck to the 6 girls that did make the finals. I'm proud of all of them[.] and I will definitely be voting 😉 …and if you decide you aren't Tough Enough, don't worry, I'll step in for ya!' she continued. Advertisement The waiting game would pay off for Green. She would eventually be signed by WWE, joining the company in 2018 before her release in 2021. She would later return to WWE in 2023, and she has become a big part of the women's division. Since joining WWE after her Tough Enough elimination, Chelsea Green has received several high-profile opportunities. She won a tournament to become the inaugural Women's United States Champion, and she recently interviewed Ana de Armas for Ballerina, the new John Wick spin-off movie. Her return occurred at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Green was eliminated within seconds of joining the battle royal by Rhea Ripley. This kickstarted a 'Karen' gimmick that she has perfected, and she is frequently arguing with WWE officials. To win the Women's United States Championship tournament, Green had to go through several big names on the roster. She defeated Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Bayley on her way to the finals. In the finals, she defeated Michin. Advertisement Green would continue to feud with Michin after winning the title. She had several successful title defenses against her before their feud ended. Her reign would last 132 days before dropping the title. Green eventually lost it to Zelina Vega during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown in April 2025. A rematch was held the following month at Saturday Night's Main Event. While Green put up a good fight, she lost, and her nose was injured as well. WWE star Liv Morgan's biggest rival slams ‘disgusting' fans after injury

The post WWE star Liv Morgan's biggest rival slams 'disgusting' fans after injury appeared first on ClutchPoints. Despite being rivals, Rhea Ripley cares about Liv Morgan, and she sent a message to fans celebrating the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion's injury. Advertisement She took to X, formerly Twitter, to call out fans who were celebrating Morgan's injury. 'PSA. Don't celebrate an injury,' said Ripley. 'Disgusting behavior. Don't be like them.' We wish Morgan a speedy recovery from her latest injury. The extent of it is unclear, but it is reportedly '100% a legitimate injury,' according to PWInsider. Hopefully, Morgan will return to the ring sooner rather than later. Liv Morgan's latest WWE injury During the June 16, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW, Morgan took on Kairi Sane in a singles match. In the opening moments, Sane avoided a kick by Morgan, throwing her to the ground. Advertisement Morgan landed awkwardly on her right arm. The slow-motion replays show her facial expression after falling, and she appeared hurt. She was writhing in pain before sliding out of the ring. She was unable to finish the match. So, Sane was declared the winner. It is unclear whether or not they will resume their feud upon Morgan's return. Hopefully, Morgan will have a speedy recovery. She returned from a different shoulder injury in 2023 that kept her on the shelf for roughly six months. Upon her return, Morgan has been on a tear. She won the Women's World Championship from Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring in May 2024. Morgan would hold it for 226 days before losing it to Ripley. Advertisement Currently, Morgan is in her record-setting fourth reign as Women's Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez. They lost the titles to Lynch and Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 41 before regaining them one night later. Now, their fourth reign is put in danger of being ended if Morgan has to relinquish the title. Again, we will have to wait and see what the prognosis is. Morgan is already a two-time Women's World Champion in her career. She has also won the Money in the Bank ladder match once in her career (in 2022). Morgan also became the inaugural Women's Crown Jewel Champion in 2024 after beating Nia Jax at the namesake event. Nikki Bella Thinks It Would Be Incredible To Work With This WWE Superstar

Nikki Bella is officially back with WWE, and already has her eyes set on what superstars she would like to work with in the future. Speaking to Sports Illustrated in a recent interview, Nikki Bella opened up about her recent in-ring meeting with Liv Morgan. Bella was surprised at how aggressive Morgan came out, but said that she liked it. Advertisement 'Well, I think one for the future, when Liv came out like a fireball last night, I was like, 'Oh shit. Okay,'' said Bella (via Fightful). 'We've only got to see each other a little bit before Evolution, so I'm excited for that.' When it comes to who she might want to work with in the future, Bella, perhaps unsurprisingly, brought up the superstar Rhea Ripley. However, Bella said she doesn't want to be the 'good girl' should the two ever meet in the ring. 'I think one day it would be incredible to work Rhea Ripley, and I've been saying this for the past four or five years.' Bella said. 'I would really love to do something with her, but I don't want to be a good girl when I do it.'
