Zaire-Emery is a tough-tackling midfielder who can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears his lines when the opposition are on the front foot and is an accurate passer of the ball. However, the jury is still out on whether he can cope with the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League. We can expect Zaire-Emery to add more bite and steel to Man United boss Ruben Amorim's midfield. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club next season. At 19, Zaire-Emery has got a bright future ahead of him which makes him an excellent choice for the Red Devils to pursue this off-season. However, Amorim has to be patient with his progress before he can get the best out of the gifted talent. All in all, Man United would do well to get a deal over the line for him in this summer transfer period.

Tottenham Battle Bayer Leverkusen for PSG Wonderkid Who Rejected Pro Deal

Paris Saint-Germain have an amazing youth academy that has resulted in Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu making contributions in recent years. Still, not every player will get this opportunity and might need to head for greener pastures. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in a two-horse race to sign promising PSG center-back Axel Tape, who's set to leave the club as a free agent this summer. The 17-year-old made his debut under Luis Enrique in January, starting a Coupe de France win over Espaly, and has also featured in five matchday squads across Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Tape has been one of the standout performers for PSG's Under-19s this season, scoring three goals in 11 games and proving he can make an impact going forward despite being a defender. Although he's still on the books as a youth player in Paris, journalist Fabrice Hawkins, via SportsMole, reports that Tape has rejected the chance to sign his first professional deal with the Champions League semi-finalists. The key factor behind that decision is PSG's depth in defense, with Marquinhos, Lucas Beraldo, Lucas Hernandez, Willian Pacho and Presnel Kimpembe all ahead of him in the pecking order. With first-team opportunities looking limited, Tape has chosen to look elsewhere for his next step, and both Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly working to secure a deal.

PSG sweat on Zaire-Emery fitness for Champions League play-off - World

Warren Zaire-Emery is an injury doubt for Paris Saint-Germain's two-legged Champions League last 16 play-off tie next month after picking up an injury in Wednesday's crucial win at Stuttgart. The French champions announced Thursday that Zaire-Emery, 18, sprained his left ankle during the 4-1 win in the league phase, which booked PSG's spot in the play-off round, and is set to be out for several weeks. "The length of (Zaire-Emery's) absence will depend on how the injury progresses over the coming days," PSG said in a statement. Several media sources reported that the French international midfielder could be out for at least three weeks. PSG will face either Monaco or Brest in the two-legged play-off, with the first legs set to take place on February 11 and 12, followed by the return fixtures a week later.
