Zaire-Emery is a tough-tackling midfielder who can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in a two-horse race to sign promising PSG center-back Axel Tape, who's set to leave the club as a free agent this summer. The 17-year-old made his debut under Luis Enrique in January, starting a Coupe de France win over Espaly, and has also featured in five matchday squads across Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Tape has been one of the standout performers for PSG's Under-19s this season, scoring three goals in 11 games and proving he can make an impact going forward despite being a defender. With first-team opportunities looking limited, Tape has chosen to look elsewhere for his next step, and both Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly working to secure a deal.

PSG sweat on Zaire-Emery fitness for Champions League play-off - World
Warren Zaire-Emery is an injury doubt for Paris Saint-Germain's two-legged Champions League last 16 play-off tie next month after picking up an injury in Wednesday's crucial win at Stuttgart. The French champions announced Thursday that Zaire-Emery, 18, sprained his left ankle during the 4-1 win in the league phase, which booked PSG's spot in the play-off round, and is set to be out for several weeks. "The length of (Zaire-Emery's) absence will depend on how the injury progresses over the coming days," PSG said in a statement. Several media sources reported that the French international midfielder could be out for at least three weeks. PSG will face either Monaco or Brest in the two-legged play-off, with the first legs set to take place on February 11 and 12, followed by the return fixtures a week later.
