(@NetflixGeeked) The halls of Hyosan High may be quiet, but the terror is far from over — All of Us Are Dead is officially back in production for a high-stakes second season, and Netflix has just revealed who's returning to the fray. The survival horror series, which exploded into global popularity after its 2022 debut, is ready to unleash a new chapter of blood-pumping chaos, this time far beyond the confines of a high school. Season 2 promises to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the original outbreak, with Park Ji-hu (Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan-young (Lee Cheong-san), Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra), and Lomon (Lee Su-hyeok) reprising their roles as the few who made it out alive. But survival came at a price, and the scars of what happened in Hyosan still linger. Now, as the story shifts to Seoul, On-jo is trying to settle into university life — only to find herself facing the unimaginable once again when a fresh wave of infection breaks out. This time, new faces join the fight. Lee Min-jae (Weak Hero: Class 2) steps in as Yong Ma-ru, Kim Si-eun (Squid Game Season 2) plays So Ju-ran, and Yoon Ga-i appears as Lee Jong-ah — all fellow university students swept into the unfolding nightmare. Roh Jae-won (Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3) joins the cast as Han Doo-seok, a National Intelligence Service team leader with his own stake in the crisis. And somewhere in the wreckage of their fractured world, Cheong-san, Nam-ra, and Su-hyeok continue to navigate the lasting effects of what they survived. — NetflixGeeked (@NetflixGeeked) Behind the scenes, the creative team that brought the first season's gripping tension to life is back as well. Directors Lee JQ (Daily Dose of Sunshine) and Kim Nam-su return to helm the new episodes, with Chun Sung-il (King the Land) once again writing the 1, based on Joo Dong-geun's webtoon, struck a nerve with audiences around the world. All of Us are Dead Season 2: From Squid Game actors to new faces — Netflix unveils cast, synopsis of zombie K-drama

All of Us are Dead Season 2 might be out sooner than expected. With fans waiting for nearly four years, Netflix has finally announced that production of the much anticipated Season 2 of the zombie K-drama is underway. Not just the announcement of All of Us Dead Season 2, the OTT platform has also released the lineup and official synopsis of the much awaited series—and it looks like the apocalypse is about to get even more intense. For the second season of All of Us are Dead, some familiar faces won't be returning, but plenty of new ones are stepping in. Two Squid Game actors —Kim Si Eun and Roh Jae Won—join the cast, along with Lee Min Jae (Weak Hero: Class 2) and Yoon Ga I (Undercover High School). These new characters have been specially created to fit the sequel's evolved storyline and timeline. As for fan favorites: yes, Cheong San (Yoon Chan Young), who was last seen in a precarious state, is back. So is Nam Ra (Cho Yi Hyun), the half-zombie who disappeared into the wilderness, and Su Hyeok (Lomon), the loyal fighter with a heart. Netflix has still not officially revaled the release date for All of Us are Dead Season 2. Based on Joo Dong Geun's webtoon, the first season racked up a jaw-dropping 560 million viewing hours in its debut month, landing in the list of Netflix's Top 10 across more than 90 countries. Season 2 now shifts gears, putting the spotlight on Nam On Jo (played by returning lead Park Ji Hu), who's traded her high school uniform for university life—but the undead chaos isn't done with her yet. Set in Seoul, All of Us are Dead Season 2 continues the story of Nam On-Jo, portrayed by Park Ji-Hu, who is now a university student haunted by the lingering trauma of past events. All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is once again directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su, with the script by returning writer Chun Sung-il.

"Squid Game" Stars Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won Join "All of Us Are Dead" Season 2

Yara Sameh Production has commenced on Season 2 of Netflix's 'All of Us Are Dead,' the Korean YA zombie thriller that emerged as a global phenomenon following its 2022 debut. The series, adapted from Joo Dong-geun's acclaimed web comic, delivered massive international success in its freshman season, accumulating over 560 million viewing hours within 28 days of premiere and securing spots in the Top 10 non-English TV rankings across more than 90 countries. Season 2 will shift focus to university-aged protagonist Nam On-jo, portrayed by returning star Park Ji-hu, now navigating life as a Seoul college student while grappling with lingering trauma from her high school survival ordeal. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when a fresh wave of infection strikes the city, once again forcing On-jo into a desperate battle for survival. The sophomore season introduces several new faces to the ensemble. Lee Min-jae ('Weak Hero: Class 2'), Kim Si-eun ('Squid Game' Season 2), and Yoon Ga-i join as a trio of battle-hardened university seniors who have developed their survival strategies. Adding further intrigue to the mix is Roh Jae-won ('Squid Game' Seasons 2, 3), who takes on the role of Han Du-seok, a National Intelligence Service team leader whose involvement promises to inject new layers of tension into the storyline. The season will also explore the current circumstances of original Hyosan outbreak survivors, including Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Su-hyeok (Lomon), as they confront the challenges of post-outbreak life while facing the resurgence of the infection. Behind the camera, the directing duo of Lee JQ ('Daily Dose of Sunshine') and Kim Nam-su return to helm the sophomore installment, working from a script penned by returning writer Chun Sung-il ('King the Land'). The announcement reinforces Netflix's aggressive expansion in Korean content production. Recent Netflix Korea successes include 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' starring IU and Park Bo-gum, 'Culinary Class Wars,' and the record-breaking 'Squid Game' Season 3 which helped drive the streamer's continued Korean content investment. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks

'All of Us Are Dead' Season 2 finally in production

"All of Us Are Dead" Season 2 is finally in production! Netflix made the announcement with a video showing old faces — and new — coming together for a table read. According to Variety, Season 2 will follow Nam On Jo (Park Ji Hu), now in university, as a new infection strikes Seoul. It will also explore the current reality of Season 1 survivors: Cheong San (Yoon Chan Young), Namra (Cho Yi Hyun), and Su Hyeok (Lomon). Joining the cast are "Squid Game" Season 2 star Kim Si Eun and "Weak Hero: Class 2" star Lee Min Jae. Also from "Squid Game," Roh Jae Won will play National Intelligence Service team leader Han Du Seok. "All Of Us Are Dead" became a worldwide hit shortly after its release in 2022, landing in Netflix's Top 10 list in 91 countries including the Philippines. Season 2 was announced later that year. "All Of Us Are Dead," based on a popular webtoon by Joo Dong Geun, follows a group of students who find themselves smack in the middle of a zombie outbreak in their high school. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
