Carnival Liberty emerges from drydock with new and refreshed spaces
The Carnival Liberty has been renovated, returning to service with new features, including a WaterWorks aqua park with new slides, a revitalized spa and a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge.
The ship's spa, now branded as a Cloud 9 Spa, has a new steam room and sauna, refreshed décor, upgraded beauty stations and a modernized fitness center.
The casino has a new layout and additional slot machines and table games. Besides the waterpark, young cruisers will find new gaming stations at Camp Ocean and a revamped arcade and Club O2.
The Heroes Tribute Bar, which honors military personnel and their families, was introduced on the Carnival Panorama in 2019. Since then, Carnival has installed the bar on its new ships and has added it to several vessels during drydocks.

Other additions are a Dream Studio for guests' personalized photo sessions and a Carnival Adventures venue, where guests can learn about and book shore excursions.
The retail Fun Shops have been revamped with new displays, and a High Spirits liquor store is now onboard.
The Liberty drydock also prioritized accessibility, Carnival said, with enhanced pathways throughout the ship.
The Carnival Liberty sails weeklong cruises to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean from New Orleans. On July 23, the ship will make its first visit to Celebration Key, Carnival's new private destination.
