Terry Crews has achieved a rare feat in the entertainment industry, standing the test of time with his one and only partner, Rebecca King-Crews. The former NFL player recently marked his 36th wedding anniversary, celebrating the momentous occasion with fans on Instagram. Terry Crews Drops Emotional Carousel For 36th Wedding Anniversary Terry marked his big day with Rebecca with fifteen pictures that captured their years-long relationship. The slideshow started with a close-up image of the couple outdoors. Rebecca kissed the side of her husband's head while he stared intently at the camera. The words 'how many months have you been together?' were written above their heads, followed by 'months???' in the next image. The second post showed the couple's whole outfit, revealing they donned similar yellow ensembles, while the third picture started the countdown of Terry and Rebecca's relationship. The countdown began in 2025 with a snap of the lovebirds in the pool, followed by a family picture from 2023. The remaining images showed Terry bonding with Rebecca, shots of their children, and finally, throwback images of the lovebirds in their youth from 1988 to a photograph of their 1989 wedding. Fans In Awe Of The Actor's Decades-Long Relationship Terry's love for his wife radiated through the sideshow and the post's caption. '36 years and just getting started!! Happy anniversary, @rebeccakingcrews [red heart emoji],' he exclaimed. His touching words received thousands of positive responses from fans, who commemorated his anniversary. 'You've loved this woman longer than I've been alive, and that is such a wondrous thing. I've been married for ten years and think sometimes about how one day I will have loved her longer than I lived without her,' someone mused. The lavish affair occurred at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, California, with multiple stars in attendance. Terry revealed in 2024 that Rebecca suffered three miscarriages during their efforts to start a family. They eventually welcomed four children, daughters Azriél, Tera, and Wynfrey, and son Isaiah. The entertainer also adopted Rebecca's daughter, Naomi, from a previous relationship. The 'America's Got Talent' Host's Marriage Nearly Ended After Twenty Years Early this year, Terry opened up about his longtime marriage to Rebecca and how they nearly separated after twenty years. It was a decision that we decided to make,' Terry explained. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the book followed his 2014 hit "Manhood: How to Be a Better Man — Or Just Live with One." Like the first book, the TV personality dived into the toxic traits men embodied and how he once believed these behaviors showcased his masculinity. 'As a former, what I would call, 'toxic male' — that term 'toxic masculinity' has been used a lot, and it's actually been misused,' Terry said in an interview. 'The term I really love right now is just 'abuse of power' — and that really, really resonated with who I was; but then people just had more questions about how this goes down and what forms this, and how do you get control of this?' Michigan, Western Michigan in talks to open 2026 football season in Germany
The University of Michigan and Western Michigan University are in talks to open their 2026 football season on foreign soil in Germany, the two schools announced Friday. The Wolverines would host the Broncos at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026. It would mark the first non-conference game Michigan has played outside of North America and the first time the Wolverines have played a Mid-American Conference school away from Michigan Stadium. "We are in advanced discussions to create this first-of-its-kind opportunity for our student-athletes and fans," said Warde Manuel, the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics. "The University of Michigan is one of the few worldwide brands in college athletics and the interest in playing an international game would be unique. This would be a great opportunity to teach 'Go Blue' to a new group of fans in Germany." Deutsche Bank Park is home to Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga, which is the top level of professional soccer in Germany. The retractable roof stadium features 55,000 seats and has hosted two NFL regular season games. "I am excited about the football and educational experience this game could provide for our players," said Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore. "We are always looking for unique opportunities to expose our student-athletes to other cultures. In the last 10 years, our program has been to Italy, France and South Africa, and this game would provide another chance to grow our international fanbase." The European date would be the first game for the Broncos outside of North America and their second international contest. WMU's first international game was the 2007 International Bowl against Cincinnati at Rogers Centre in Toronto. "This is an incredible opportunity for our football program, our student-athletes, and the entire Western Michigan University community," said WMU head coach Lance Taylor in a statement. "To potentially open the 2026 season on an international stage against one of the most storied programs in college football is both an honor and an exciting challenge we would embrace wholeheartedly. An international game offers our players not only a unique competitive experience, but also an invaluable educational one. Traveling to Germany and representing Western Michigan University abroad will give our student-athletes cultural exposure and memories they'll carry long beyond their playing days. It's the kind of life experience that perfectly reflects the spirit and values of college athletics." The game was originally scheduled to be played at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 5. Michigan will release the date and location of he 2026 opener soon.

U.S. Dept. of Education investigating 2 Michigan universities for alleged exclusionary scholarships under DACA
The U.S. Department of Education says it's investigating five American universities, including two in Michigan, for what it called possible violations of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, saying their DACA-affiliated scholarship programs may be discriminatory. The investigation, announced Wednesday, is targeting the University of Michigan and Western Michigan University, along with the University of Louisville, the University of Nebraska Omaha and the University of Miami. The federal education department says its intention is to "determine whether these universities are granting scholarships only for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals." DACA, often referred to as the Dream Act, has allowed hundreds of thousands of immigrants who crossed into the U.S. illegally or overstayed their visas as minors to live and work in the U.S., without fear of deportation. The education department drew attention to the University of Wisconsin's Dreamer scholarship and Western Michigan University's WMU Undocumented/DACA Scholarship. Neither the Trump Administration's America first policies nor the Civil Right (sic) Act of 1964's prohibition on national origin discrimination permit universities to deny our fellow citizens the opportunity to compete for scholarships because they were born in the United States," Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Craig Trainor said. In announcing their investigation, the education department said they will also "examine additional scholarships that appear to exclude students based on other aspects of Title VI, including race and color." Kay Jarvis, director of public affairs at the University of Wisconsin, responded to Wednesday's announcement, saying, "The university has received a letter of notification relating to this matter. We have no further comment." CBS Detroit has reached out to Western Michigan University for comment and is awaiting a response. Last week, the same department announced it was launching a separate investigation into the University of Wisconsin following the arrests of Chinese nationals in a number of pathogen smuggling Montoya-Galvez and DeJanay Booth-Singleton contributed to this report.
