Wexford businesses invited to enter ‘Best Fleadh Window' competition and win €1,000
Local businesses in Wexford town have been invited to create window displays celebrating the Fleadh and brighten up the streets with colour and imagination.
The window display theme for this year's competition, is 'Wexford Celebrates Fleadh 2025.' A special request has been made to business owners that they make sustainable and environmentally friendly choices when creating their design.
The use of recycled materials is encouraged and the objective is to have a positive impact through creativity, while incorporating Wexford and the Fleadh into the design.
As if business owners needed an incentive to celebrate the biggest event of the year, the prizes are not too bad. The top prize for the overall winner is €1,000. And the best pub visual display, best restaurant or café visual display, best retail visual display and best other venue display will win €500 each.
Participation is simple. All you need to know is send an email to wexfordboroughcompetition@ and outline why you are entering the competition. Businesses are then encouraged to share pictures and videos of their windows using #fleadh25windowcomp. The deadline for entry is Wednesday July 30th, with winners announced on Thursday August 7th. The judge's decision is final!
