'I paid to see Billie Eilish's UK tour but selfish fan ruined gig'
A woman has gone viral on social media after sharing a clip of her experience at a Billie Eilish concert, where she wasn't able to actually hear the singer due to a "baffling" reason Many music fans dream of catching their idols live in concert, willing to splash out on tickets to hear their favourite tunes performed up close. Yet, one woman's experience at a Billie Eilish gig took an unexpected turn when she found herself unable to hear the star due to an unusual disturbance. Ana, who goes by anapanaderoo on TikTok, went viral after posting a clip from the concert where an opera singer seemingly drowned out Eilish 's performance. The video, captioned "Who was singing opera next to me at the Billie Eilish concert?", showcases the moment Eilish's voice is overshadowed by powerful operatic vocals. The footage has racked up over 400,000 views and sparked a flurry of comments from shocked viewers. One person quipped: "Who's this diva (literally)?", while another remarked: "Out singing the singer." A third commented in disbelief: "Is this real? I'm weak." Another shared their mixed emotions, writing: "I would be so mad, then laugh. Then be mad when it never stops." One more viewer joked: "God forbid a Renaissance diva attends a Billie Eilish concert." Someone else lamented the high cost of tickets, adding: "With ticket prices these days, I would be so mad." Billie Eilish, 23, is currently thrilling fans on her "Hit Me Hard And Soft" tour, and recently wowed crowds in Glasgow, with ticket prices reportedly ranging from £65.00 to a steep £160.00. The US songstress first captured hearts in 2015 with her debut single "Ocean Eyes", penned and produced by her brother, Finneas O'Connell. Her subsequent EP, "Don't Smile at Me", released in 2017, became an international sensation, topping charts in the US, UK and Australia. Her first full-length album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", catapulted to the top of both the US Billboard 200 and the UK albums chart, becoming one of the hottest albums of the year. In 2020, Eilish lent her voice to the James Bond theme "No Time to Die", which soared to number one in the UK singles chart and snagged the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Eilish's meteoric rise has undoubtedly cemented her as a favourite in the UK music scene. Yet, concertgoers expect to experience her unique sound live, which is why Ana was left baffled when an operatic performance dominated her show experience, sparking a divide among fans. One fan expressed their frustration, saying: "I like opera, but this would annoy me so much. Just want to see and hear Billie." Another fan was less reserved, commenting: "Not to be one of those people, but this would p*** me off so bad. "I came to see Billie. If I wanted to I'd have gone to the opera house to see Phantom of the Opera, but not this." Another person chimed in with: "There's no need to be doing all that." However, some found humour in the situation, admitting they thought Eilish would find it "hilarious."

Billie Eilish's Debut Reaches A Major Milestone, Marking A First For Her
Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has now spent 250 weeks on the U.K.'s ... More Official Albums chart, a first for the singer. STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - APRIL 23: Billie Eilish performs at Avicii Arena on April 23, 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. (Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage for Live Nation) By the time When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? rolled around, Billie Eilish was already a star in the music world. That album, her first full-length, turned her into a global powerhouse and a true hitmaker. The project has barely waned in popularity in the years since its release, and people are still consuming the set, which produced hits like "You Should See Me in a Crown,' "Bury a Friend,' and of course, the worldwide sensation "Bad Guy." Eilish remains a force to be reckoned with on the charts in the United Kingdom, and this week is a notable one as her entire catalog climbs and her debut project reaches a major milestone. As of this frame, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has spent 250 weeks on the Official Albums chart. That tally ranks the most consumed projects in the U.K., blending both pure purchases and streaming activity. This set marks the first for Eilish to make it to that notable landmark number. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has spent four more weeks on the Official Albums chart than both Happier Than Ever and Hit Me Hard and Soft – her other two full-lengths – combined. It lived at No. 1 for three frames, while both titles that followed only managed one stay on the throne. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has spent even more time on the Official Albums Streaming chart than the main all-consumption list. The introductory title has now reached 260 weeks — or five full years — on the list of the most played releases on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. Though When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? still appears on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums rankings this frame, it has yet to crack 200 weeks on either of those rankings. Both of Eilish's other full-lengths are also present on the Official Albums chart this time around. Happier Than Ever is up to 138 stays. Hit Me Hard and Soft, her most recent full-length, only needs one more turn on the tally before it reaches its first full year. The set will almost certainly make it to that number next time around, as it's still living inside the top 10. Amazingly, Eilish's first EP Don't Smile at Me is just shy of that 250-week milestone. The several-song-long effort has racked up 246 stays somewhere on the 100-spot roster. It will likely become her next project to hit that landmark number sometime soon, although it does not take up space on the tally at the moment.

Billie Eilish's Entire Catalog Climbs; Two-Thirds Of Her Albums Are Bestsellers Again
Billie Eilish sees two of her three albums — two thirds of her discography — become bestsellers ... More again in the U.K. STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - APRIL 23: (EDITORS NOTE:Image has been converted to black and white.)Billie Eilish performs at Avicii Arena on April 23, 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. (Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage for Live Nation) It's not unusual for Billie Eilish to see all three of her full-length albums appear on the charts near one another. Her discography remains hugely popular — even her oldest works, which are now half a decade into their lives on the weekly rankings. As the weekly tallies in the United Kingdom become slightly less competitive following a deluge of Record Store Day releases, two of Eilish's three projects become bestselling titles once more. They not only return to sales-focused rankings, but do so on multiple tallies that measure pure purchases in the country. Happier Than Ever and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? both return to the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts this week. Between the two, Happier Than Ever is the higher rising, but not by much. It's back at No. 55 on the physical-only list, which tracks purchases on CD, vinyl, and cassette, and No. 62 on the general sales tally. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is just a few spots behind, landing at Nos. 62 and 65 on those rosters, respectively. Those same collections also hold up well on two other charts at the same time. As they return to the sales-based rankings, Happier Than Ever and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? both climb slightly on the Official Albums roster — which tracks overall consumption — and the Official Albums Streaming list, which reflects the most-played full-lengths on Spotify, Apple Music, and various other platforms. While fans are continuing to buy Happier Than Ever and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, returning them to sales-only charts, Eilish's most recent full-length doesn't need to bounce back. Hit Me Hard and Soft rockets more than 50 spaces on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. It bolts from No. 83 to No. 28 on the general purchase-only tally and from No. 81 to No. 27 on the physical-focused list. That same Grammy-nominated collection is also present inside the top 20 on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts as well, as songs like 'Birds of a Feather' and 'Wildflower' continue to power it. In the past, all three of Eilish's full-lengths have hit No. 1 on almost every single tally on which they appear at the moment. Only Happier Than Ever missed the summit, and on just one list, as it peaked at No. 2 on the streaming-only roster. Most of her sets have spent 100 weeks or more on the U.K. charts. Hit Me Hard and Soft hasn't reached that milestone yet, but only because it's still relatively new – at least when compared to her other projects. The blockbuster is currently in its forty-ninth frame on each and every roster, and will almost certainly hit 52 weeks — its first full year — very soon.
