from the Brimfield Antique Flea Market helped inform the aesthetic. 'The house is on water and they're a sailing family, so the surroundings play into the theme, too,' Winsor says. The still life oil painting to the right of the door is by local artist Marilyn Saabye.

Providence-based woodworking studio Edge and End made the custom walnut and white oak Ping-Pong
table;
the removable net is hand-caned. It doubles as a place to do puzzles and play games. The vintage paddles on the wall are both functional and decorative. 'Everyone has their favorites,' the designer notes.
