After walking down the aisle in 2001, it was just four years later that Gabby and Kenny welcomed their twin children together, Lois and Reuben. Now 19, the siblings are well on their way to following in their parents' sporting footsteps, with Reuben currently playing for rugby union side Sale Sharks, while Lois is pursuing a career in show jumping alongside her university studies. During a recent interview with Hello! magazine, Lois shared how her mum initially pushed her toward playing tennis when she was younger. However, despite Gabby's early hopes for her daughter to pursue tennis, Lois's passion for horses actually developed after an ultimatum from her mum when the family moved to their home in Buckinghamshire. Gabby told her daughter: 'You can learn to play chess, ballroom dance, or ride a horse.' Lois gave an insight into her relationship with her parents (Image: gabbylogan/instagram ) After choosing the latter and continuing to excel at the sport, Lois shared how her dad, Kenny, jokingly told Gabby that she only had herself to blame for Lois opting for show jumping over tennis, saying: 'Gabby, you created this monster.' Article continues below Lois added that, while her parents initially thought her love of show jumping would be a passing phase, 'I think they thought I'd grow out of it, but if anything, it's got stronger and stronger.' Lois's interview with Hello! comes ahead of her participation in this month's Markel Magnolia Cup at the Qatar Goodwood Festival. As she prepares for what is expected to be a hotly contested race against 11 other competitors, Lois admitted: 'I've never done anything as brutal as this before.' During an episode of the White Wine Question Time podcast earlier this year, Gabby spoke fondly of Lois: 'She's very thoughtful, and she's very motivated, very determined.' Gabby is set to co-host Match of the Day from next month (Image: Visionhaus/Getty Images ) Article continues below Away from raising her family alongside Kenny, Gabby's own career has continued to flourish. Following her success as part of the BBC's coverage of the 2012 Olympic Games, she has since been involved in countless high-profile sporting events. Next month will mark yet another major career milestone as she joins Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates in a new-look trio of presenters on Match of the Day.

Coronation Street actress Sally Carman has played Abi Webster on the ITV soap since 2017 and has been involved in several big storylines - and fans were recently left shocked by her real age Coronation Street's Sally Carman, known for her role as Abi Webster, has spilled the beans on how she maintains her youthful appearance. Since joining the ITV soap in 2017, Sally has quickly become a fan favourite, with her character Abi involved in numerous high-stakes storylines. Abi's life in Weatherfield has been tumultuous, from the devastating murder of her son Seb to her struggles with addiction and PTSD. Currently, there's buzz around Abi potentially having an affair with her brother-in-law Carl, played by Jonathan Howard, who made his entrance earlier this year. Off-screen, Sally celebrated her 50th birthday in May, leaving fans astonished by her age-defying looks. Sally has now disclosed her beauty regimen to The Sun, saying: "Oh, it's no secret - I have fillers, I have Botox, facials.... I do all of it." She continued, stressing her transparency: "I'm really open about it. I don't think there's anything worse than someone promoting a cream saying: 'Buy this mega-bucks cream and your face will be as smooth as mine.' I'm like: 'Yeah, whatever.' So there's no cream - well, there is, but there are other things on top.", reports Leicestershire Live. Beyond her success on Coronation Street, Sally also found romance on set, meeting her now-husband Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe, in 2017. The couple got engaged in 2020 and were married two years later. Recalling their romantic engagement tale, Sally shared with Kate Thornton on her podcast White Wine Question Time: "It was while we were in lockdown and we were staying in the Dales with his sister, who has a lot of space, with, his kids" she explained. "And he had just read a Benjamin Meyers book called The Gallows Pole, which Shane Meadows is making into a film right now. It's all about these coin forgers and he was banging on about this bloody book for weeks and weeks and weeks." Sally continued: "And I'm like: 'I'm glad you're enjoying that book, I won't need to read it because you've literally told me everything that happens in it!' "We were walking around this big field on this walk and he went: 'Kids, have a look in between the dry stone walling because you know, they used to put coins and precious things to hide them in the walls." She revealed the magical moment: "So I'm having a look and there's this box. And I opened it. I'm like: 'No way.' And then there was another box inside. And I turned around and he was on one knee." Coronation Street is on ITV at 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and available to stream from 7am on ITVX

Queen Camilla's son admits 'I'd probably be dead' in candid admission
Queen Camilla's son Tom Parker-Bowles has revealed that having to make his own way financially and not lean on his parents for support probably "saved his life" Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker-Bowles, has made a candid admission about his finances, revealing that growing up without a trust fund probably "saved his life". The eldest child of the Queen spoke frankly on the White Wine Question Time podcast about his dedication to his work ethic, which he has been fostering since he was a teenager. Tom admitted to podcast host Kate Thornton that if he had grown up with a trust fund and had not been driven to work, his life today would look very different, as he was forced to learn the value of hard work and financial literacy, and work "just like everyone else". "Sadly, no trust fund. You know, actually, it's a good thing not having a trust fund. I'd probably be dead if I'd had one," Tom said. "Obviously, I had to work like everyone. You know, you have to work. It's important. So, I stumbled somewhat into food writing, 25 years ago when the landscape was rather different." Before finding his passion for food writing, Tom worked numerous jobs while he found his career footing. He had a brief stint in the PR world, as he recalled: "I worked for a wonderful film PR company called DDA and they used to run Cannes and you'd be looking after talent. "So you'd be taking Alicia Silverstone round London in the '90s or Anna Friel or whatever. So it wasn't exactly the most arduous task for a straight man. It wasn't the most arduous of jobs, but I was always late. "I'm still friends with my bosses, Stacey and Dennis, and they're lovely people. But eventually, enough was enough. I got sacked… So anyway, I was sitting around thinking, you know, what the hell am I going to do?" Tom then found his passion for food writing and published nine cookbooks, and is still a regular contributor to Mail on Sunday and Country Life. Elsewhere in the podcast, Tom made a candid admission about his mother and how it was "never her aim" to be Queen, while also praising the relationship between Charles and Camilla. He said: "As I've said before, you know, with my mother - it was never her aim. It was just a story of two people who loved each other. And as you get older, you're happy that your father's happy, that your mother's happy, that your stepfather is happy. You know, that's what matters." Tom also said that "not in a million years' did he expect his mother to become Queen, but is 'proud' of her and all she has done for the monarchy.

‘I used to stand on the street in a bikini selling ice-cream' – Vogue Williams on early modelling career
While speaking on Kate Thornton's podcast, White Wine Question Time, Ms Williams spoke of her experiences while starring on Irish reality show Fade Street, which followed a group of young adults navigating life and careers in Dublin. 'We used to do modelling on TV in the mornings, and [my father] would be telling everybody he saved all the newspapers and stuff,' she told the podcast. 'But that show, it was the show that everybody loved to hate. But it got me started. And I don't think I'd love to do a show like that now, but I just kind of took every opportunity when I was young. I wasn't storming any catwalks. Weirdly enough, I wasn't invited on them 'We used to do modelling on TV in the mornings, and [my father] would be telling everybody he saved all the newspapers and stuff,' she told the podcast. 'But that show, it was the show that everybody loved to hate. But it got me started. And I don't think I'd love to do a show like that now, but I just kind of took every opportunity when I was young. 'When I was younger, modelling in Ireland was a very different thing. I always have to point that out. So, when people say 'model', I'm like: 'Oh no, please don't say model'. 'I used to stand on the street in a bikini with a Magnum ice-cream selling Magnums or a €50m thing for the Lotto, standing on the tracks of the tram line. 'That's the thing. I wasn't storming any catwalks. Weirdly enough, I wasn't invited on them. But we loved it. Sadly, the pictures still very much exist, but I'm not embarrassed of them. 'You'd be sitting in a giant cocktail glass sometimes. You just never knew. It was wild,' she said. The author of Big Mouth also spoke of meeting her husband and TV personality Spencer Matthews when he was 'very fond of the drink', but 'he was so much fun'. 'I always said about Spencer, we're not going to go out with each other, but we'll be friends forever,' she said. 'That's a really good base for a relationship. But then, when it all kind of came to a head with him with the drink, I just kind of stood back and I was like: 'I'm not asking you to stop. This is kind of your own path'. 'Particularly when it comes to drinking, you can't change somebody; they have to want to change themselves because it just won't stick otherwise. 'They must want to do it themselves, and that's what he did, thankfully.' She also said she believed her late father, Freddie Williams, who died in 2010, would have 'really liked' her husband. 'Strangely enough, everyone says that. My whole family say that. 'They're like: 'No, he would have actually really gotten along with him', even though he didn't like me having boyfriends because I was his youngest child,' she said. 'So, he was very protective over me. But I think Spencer would have passed the mark eventually. 'He would have started talking to him after a year or so. You can't not like Spence.' In her memoir Big Mouth, she also revealed she felt like an 'ugly duckling' growing up. 'When I was younger, I just wasn't the one that the boys fancied. It didn't bother me too much, I knew my place,' she said. 'I was always hunched in pictures, and I'd smile with my mouth closed and, yeah, now it's always open.'

Strictly judge Anton du Beke tells wife to 'grow up' over 'extraordinary' issue
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Anton Du Beke has candidly shared that he once told his wife to "grow up" after she confessed her difficulty with a task many find simple. Chatting on the My Time Capsule podcast, the 58-year-old Strictly Come Dancing judge disclosed one of his biggest gripes, which centres around how people use their mobile phones. The ballroom dancing star is not at all impressed by folks who use their phone's loudspeaker in public places. He quipped that "everyone's got an earphone" and humorously noted that it's possible to "actually hold these things up to your ear". This led to a broader discussion about contemporary mobile phone habits. Anton observed that nowadays, people no longer "like to pick the phone up", something his own wife, Hannah Summers, also tends to avoid. Anton recounted: "Young people will be going, 'Phone calls? What's he talking about? We just text and email and WhatsApp. We never actually answer the phone. Are you mad?'" (Image: Anadolu Agency via Getty Images) He went on to say: "That's the new thing as well. People don't like to pick the phone up. I find that extraordinary. My wife is the same, though, really. She goes, 'Oh, I don't really like speaking on the phone'. "I just go, 'Grow up, I said. Grow up. Sort yourself out. What are you talking about?'I don't like talking on the phone'." Anton and Hannah, who tied the knot in 2017, first crossed paths at a golf club back in 2011. The couple resides in Buckinghamshire with their twins, George and Henrietta. In a bit of telly gossip, Anton, a stalwart of the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' since its 2004 debut, offered a glimpse into his family life, revealing that his children "burst into tears" upon seeing him on TV for the first time. He kicked off his Strictly journey as a professional dancer and once ranked 14th globally in ballroom dancing with his partner Erin Boag. In a twist of fate, 2021 saw him hang up his dancing shoes to take up the mantle of judge, stepping in for 'Britain's Got Talent' sensation Bruno Tonioli. (Image: Getty Images for Paramount Pictu) During a chat on BBC Radio 2, he shared: "It's huge. It is wonderful. The first time my children, when they were very little, they saw me dancing on television and I was in the living room, and they saw me dancing on television and they burst into tears." Anton said they "couldn't quite grasp the concept" of him being at home and on the television, as well as "this other woman in Daddy's arms", adding that the show is a "massive part of the family". On another note, Anton once confessed to making a rather "terrible" initial impression on his now-wife. Recounting the tale on the 'White Wine Question Time' podcast, host Kate Thornton quizzed him about his early attempts to woo Hannah. Kate recounted: "Apparently the first thing she said to you was weirdo. Because you were hanging around outside a toilet at a golf club event to try and catch her eye, she thought you were odd." He responded that she did something "that you girls tend to do", saying that she "didn't look at me but looked at me". Anton went on to say she "did that thing with the hair around the ears".
