Concert being held on Friday in San Angelo benefitting flood efforts
The San Angelo Texas Flood Benefit concert and auction is happening Friday to raise funds for flood victims, according to a media release.
Wild West Fest, San Angelo LIVE!, the Arc Light Bar and the San Angelo Clarion Hotel are coming together to bring country musicians to San Angelo.
The musicians playing in the concert include Kat Hasty, Sterling Elza, Rich O'Toole, Cooper Hamilton, Case Hardin and Jacob Childress. More will be announced.
In addition to the concert, there will be silent and live auctions to amplify efforts.
"We're reaching out to generous local businesses and individuals for support," a news release stated. "We hope you'll consider donating gift baskets, gift cards, services, products, memorabilia — anything that can inspire bids and help our neighbors in need. Rest assured, your generosity will be recognized during the event."
The event will be 5 p.m. Friday at the Arc Light Bar & Grill in the Clarion Hotel, 441 Rio Concho Drive.
The goal of the event is to raise $10,000 to support San Angelo flood victims, according to the release.
Proceeds will go directly to the San Angelo Area Foundation's disaster relief fund.
Tickets are $30 after taxes and can be found online at
