QNAP Enhances File Backup and Synchronization Solution Qsync 6.0 Beta
QNAP Systems has launched the Qsync 6.0 Beta , a major upgrade of its one-stop file backup and synchronization solution. While Qsync has long provided file synchronization across NAS and multiple devices, Qsync 6.0 now adds robust file and folder backup features — uniting backup and sync as primary functions across a suite of applications. This unified platform enables both individuals and organizations to better protect data and streamline collaboration with greater ease and efficiency.

Qsync 6.0 allows users to back up files and folders from Windows® and macOS® (support coming soon) devices to NAS. With multi-version backup and point-in-time recovery, important files can be restored even after accidental deletion or device failure. Users can flexibly configure real-time, scheduled, or manual backups to safeguard critical work files.
Cross-device sync with always-updated files
Qsync supports one-way and two-way sync rules to automatically synchronize files across NAS, PCs, and mobile devices. Offline sync allows users to access and edit files without an internet connection, with changes synced once reconnected. Space-saving mode downloads files only upon access, reducing the burden on local storage.
