Second ‘Gundam Hathaway' Movie Gets A New Trailer And Winter Release
Lane Aim, the pilot of the Penelope. It's taken a good while, but the second Gundam Hathaway movie has finally received a new trailer and will be out this Winter. The first Gundam Hathaway movie was released back in 2021 and was the first in a trilogy that adapted the novels written by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Set after the events of Char's Counterattack, it dealt with Bright Noa's son Hathaway as he leads a new rebel faction called Mafty against the now overly corrupt Federation. For years, it was thought that Tomino's Hathaway's Flash novels were impossible to adapt, but Shūkō Murase pretty much nailed it with the first film, and it looks like he'll do the same with the second. However, it does appear that the second film, called The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, will deviate from the novels somewhat, but my guess is that it will be more of a truncation of the story, if the first film is anything to go by. One additional point of confusion is that both the English trailer (shown below) and Japanese trailer say that this movie will be released 'Next Winter'. However, in the description for the Japanese trailer, it sounds like the movie is coming out this Winter, which makes more sense, as the last movie was released in 2021. What I do hope happens, though, is that this new Gundam Hathaway movie will receive a theatrical release in the US and Europe. I saw the first film on the big screen, and it made a huge impact. Especially the sections where you see mobile suit combat from the perspective of people on the ground trying to escape the carnage. In any case, Gundam Hathaway is finally getting its second movie, and from the trailer alone, it looks like it could be equally as special as the first film. Follow me on X, Facebook and YouTube. Tube passenger who killed 'gentle' engineer could serve less than six years
A Tube passenger who killed a commuter with one punch after he brushed past him on an escalator could serve less than six years in jail. Rakeem Miles, 23, grabbed AI engineer Samuel Winter, 28, from behind and ripped his top at Southwark underground station at 9.30pm last August 22. Miles then knocked Mr Winter unconscious with a powerful punch to the head before fleeing. Paramedics attended and performed CPR on Mr Winter at the Tube station. He was rushed to hospital with a critical brain injury and died two days later with his family by his side. British Transport Police officers traced Miles through the use of his Oyster card and arrested him at a shop near the station the next morning. Miles, of Southwark, southeast London, denied but was convicted of manslaughter at Inner London Crown Court. Judge Benedict Kelleher sentenced him to eight years imprisonment with an extended licence period of five years. But he could serve less than five and a half years before becoming eligible for parole. Both men had been travelling on the same eastbound Jubilee line but there had been no interaction in the lead up the attack. Mr Winter got off the train and walked up the escalator, brushing past Miles on his way past. Miles followed him through the barrier yelling abuse. Miles caught up, grabbing Mr Winter from behind, ripping his top in two as he pulled the shocked commuter to face him. He then punched Mr Winter once in the head before leaving him collapsed on the stairs. Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell said: 'Though nothing can bring Samuel back, I hope today's sentencing allows his family some small measure of comfort as they continue to grieve for him. 'Samuel's family described him as gentle and kind, and he will be sorely missed by all those who love him. We reiterate our requests to give the family privacy at such a difficult time. 'It only took one punch from Miles to end Samuel's life and forever change the lives of those around him. 'He showed no remorse for his action, leaving Samuel at the station and continuing on with his evening. 'The quick-time and thorough investigation by the teams involved meant Miles was identified and apprehended quickly. More Trending 'There is zero tolerance for violence on the railway and I'd like to thank my team for their hard work and determination to secure justice for Samuel's family.' In a heart wrenching tribute, Mr Winter's family said: 'Sam was a very much-loved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend. 'We are devastated his life here has ended. He was a qualified physiotherapist, AI engineer and a volunteer with several charities. 'His family and friends will remember him as gentle and kind, quick-witted and funny, with deep faith and an unendingly giving spirit.' Ski resort cleans up 780 pounds of ‘unhinged' trash buried under snow — including a message in a bottle
They were frozen in time. Colorado ski resort employees who were cleaning up the mountain post-season found a staggering 780 pounds of trash that had been hidden under the snow — including an iPod Nano and a 'message' in a bottle, per a viral Facebook post. The Mountain Cleanup Day went down this month at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, which shut its doors in mid-May, Fox News reported. 'In addition to being the right thing to do for our mountain, it's also a fun paid event to connect with our teammates [and] see what wacky items may have been lost in the season's powder days,' Maxwell Winter, Senior Communications Manager at the lodge, told the Post. 4 An iPod Nano, which was discontinued in 2017. Instagram/@breckenridgemtn 4 Breckenridge employee holding vapes. Instagram/@breckenridgemtn This year, over 150 employees took to the slopes to clear the alpine wonderland of refuse, during which they found a veritable treasure trove of 'unhinged' items. Along with an unsurprising assortment of lost ski poles and boots, the mountain maintenance team found broken phones, glasses, air pods, a spatula, a driver's license and a Canadian two-dollar coin. They said their 'most unique find' was a note in a bottle, which the Breckenridge crew joked said everything from 'Drink your Ovaltine' to 'Stuck in a bottle, send help,' according to Winter. 4 Some of the other miscellaneous items found during the cleanup. Instagram/@breckenridgemtn To the communications manager's chagrin, however, the so-called mysterious correspondence turned out to be an 'individual's old COVID-19 vaccination card.' But the crown jewel of oddball items was an iPod Nano, which was notably discontinued in 2017. 4 Some of the lost Airpods found on the mountain. Instagram/@breckenridgemtn Facebook commenters were bemused by the oddball items. 'The hamburger flipper stumps me,' exclaimed one awestruck commenter, while another wrote, 'Some gold in them hills!' 'Maintenance got the really good stuff before the cleanup,' quipped a third. Meanwhile, others joked that the crew likely found a lot of drugs that they couldn't show on camera. Others shared their own stories of peculiar items that were lost and found on a ski slope. 'I lost a phone at Beaver Creek 4 years ago and someone found it last summer while mountain biking and called me to ask if it was mine and did I need it because it still worked!!' said one commenter. Another wrote, 'My husband has forever enshrined an AirPod at the Paramount lift at WP. He always have me grief for my wired headphones. THAT is why I stay old school.' 'We used to call it nickle-nosing, as we walked up the hill under the chairlift and found all sorts of treasures after the melt. Good times,' mentioned a third.

Townshend Resists The Pressure For First Win
With fastest laps from the first race defining grid positions, it was Ajay Giddy starting on pole position for the second time today as he lined up alongside Winter class rival Townshend on the front row. Trophy Series points leader Lee Zeltwanger would line up alongside Matt Day on the second row with Corban Sprague and Antal Sabo completing row three. As the lights went out it was Townshend who made a flawless getaway, leapfrogging into the lead by the first turn and leaving Giddy to fight off the attentions of a raging pack behind that included Zeltwanger, Sabo, Sprague and Day. Giddy was able to close up on Townshend on the straights, but the daring late braking of Townshend was enough to keep Harry ahead lap after lap. His task seemed a little easier when Giddy fell back into the clutches of Zeltwanger late in the race, but Townshend had his eyes fixed on the prize and duly came home to his first ever win in a Toyota 86. 'It was an awesome race,' said Harry on the podium. 'I knew I had to get away well and not make any mistakes at all and still hope I had enough speed to win but it all came good. Behind Townshend, the battle was resolved right at the end in favour of Zeltwanger, while Giddy backed up his morning win with another podium. Sprague and Day battled throughout but would finish fourth and fifth while series newcomer Sabo rounded off an excellent first weekend in the category with sixth place. The field was completed by Nathan Grammer, Toby Elmiger and Noel Simpson. Zeltwanger has extended his lead in the Trophy Series points table, while Townshend now assumes the top spot in the chase for the Winter Series class. Giddy Storms To Race 1 Victory
Giddy was beaten off the line by series newcomer Antal Sabo, who started alongside him on the front row of the grid. Antal made the best start in his RaceLab Academy entry and led confidently around the first lap but Ajay had him under pressure quickly and Sabo's lack of race experience showed when he went into Turn One too quickly on the defensive line, went wide on the exit and allowed the front runners through. Giddy never looked back and raced away from a chasing Harry Townshend and Lee Zeltwanger to score maximum points in the Winter class for drivers who raced in the main Bridgestone GR 86 Championship while Zeltwanger extended his Trophy class lead with another classy podium result. Townshend put in a solid drive for another second place, resisting pressure from Zeltwanger before edging away by a few car lengths in the final couple of laps. Race victory however, belonged to Giddy, who remains not only the youngest driver in Toyota 86 racing in NZ, and the youngest to win a race, but also one of the country's youngest and most promising rising stars. 'That's great to get the first win and after Antal made his mistake it was just a question of me not making any either. The car was very good though,' said a delighted Giddy afterwards. Sabo showed plenty of speed but a similar mistake at turn one later in the race defending his fourth position pushed him back to sixth in the overall results behind CareVets Scholarship racer Corban Sprague and DAYLE ITM driver Matt Day. Action Motorsport duo Toby Elmiger and Noel Simpson finished seventh and eighth while Nathan Grammer completed the runners in ninth - making it to the chequered flag despite having a slow puncture.
