Delta Goodrem shares the first pictures of her 'fairytale' wedding
Aussie music royalty Delta Goodrem has shared the first pictures of her "fairytale" June wedding to her guitarist Matthew Copley. The pair tied the knot in Malta, the same place Copley proposed to Goodrem after performing at a festival two years earlier. "We said I do under the Maltese skies in a family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us," Goodrem said in a post to Instagram. The former Neighbours star described the wedding as "more magical than we both could have dreamed". "We are holding on to every memory from that moment, the love, the laughter, the happy tears and dancing till the sun came up," she said. The impressive ceremony was hosted in the 17th-century St Paul's Cathedral in Mdina, with the couple's family flying from across the world to attend. The Born to Try singer said the pair "can't wait to come back to Australia and celebrate as Mr and Mrs". The newlyweds kept their relationship a private matter, only announcing their relationship on New Year's Day in 2018, several months after they began dating. "I've always been so understanding that I've lived in the public eye since I was a teenager, but also I think it's nice to keep some things to yourself," she told the Woman's Weekly in June. The pair, who both work for Goodrem's record label ATLED Records, announced their engagement on social media in September 2023. Goodrem's post thanked the army of workers who made the stunning nuptials possible, with a promise of more details to be shared. Australian fashion house Palbo Sebastian designed her couture wedding dress, which Goodrem described as the "dress of my dreams". Pablo Sebastian said the dress was inspired by the frescoes of St Paul's Cathedral, and fashioned in the house's signature ball gown silhouette. Judy Murray loves it when people say how smiley she is
Judy Murray loves it when people say how smiley she is The 65-year-old tennis coach has been photographed looking "glum" and "grimacing" in the players' boxes as she watched her sons Judy Murray (Image: Getty Images ) Judy Murray says people are surprised by how smiley she is. The 65-year-old tennis coach has been photographed looking "glum" and "grimacing" in the players' boxes as she watched her sons Andy Murray, 38, and Jamie Murray, 39, compete in Wimbledon and other tennis tournaments over the years, and Judy admitted she loves it when people get to see her joyous side. Writing in her column in the new issue of Woman's Weekly magazine, Judy said: "When the boys were emerging as top tennis players and we were launched into the limelight, I had a hard time from the media, seen as the pushy mum, overbearing and never smiling. "The photographers caught me looking glum, grimacing or pumping my fist, and I think a lot of people thought I was too serious. "The fact is, I'm not overbearing or pushy, I just get excited when I watch my kids. "Being in the Wimbledon players' box is not fun. It's really stressful and there's a reason I'm not smiling. Article continues below "When I meet people in everyday life now, they point out that I'm always smiling. "It's really nice that people see that side of me." The Strictly Come Dancing 2014 contestant struggled to keep a straight face when she did a series of sketches with comedian-and-actor Chris Forbes called The Other Murray Brother - which went viral and even became a set at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022. She said: "It was probably five years ago when I was asked to work with a young comedian called Chris Forbes. "He came up with this fun idea of another Murray brother called Duncan - one who, unlike Andy and Jamie - was a complete disappointment to me and that's why I kept him out of the way. "It sounded funny and I like to help young people, so I agreed to do an online three-minute comedy sketch. When I met 'Duncan' for the first time, he was wearing a Heart of Midlothian football shirt. My dad played for Hibs, their rivals. Article continues below "He then started eating a packet of crisps right next to me, which is one of my pet peeves. I knew immediately that we were going to have some fun. "When he handed me the script, I said I couldn't say half the things on there as they were too mean. He convinced me it was fine and as he didn't try to push me to do anything, I went with it, and honestly, it was so funny. "I struggled to keep a straight face."

'I don't know if she voted...' Queen Camilla enjoyed watching Angela Rippon on Strictly
Queen Camilla loved watching on Angela Rippon on Strictly Come Dancing. Former BBC News journalist Angela, 80, made history by becoming the oldest celebrity to take part in the BBC One Latin and ballroom dancing show in 2023, and Angela's appearance with her 29-year-old professional dance partner Kai Widdrington got the royal seal of approval. Angela - who finished in eighth place on Strictly Come Dancing - told the new issue of Woman's Weekly magazine: "Queen Camilla said we were cool, but I don't know if she voted." The esteemed broadcaster shot to fame in 1975 when she got a permanent newsreader job on the BBC Nine O'Clock News, after covering for the Richard Baker in February of that year. She said: "I could never have imagined that I was entering a vintage period in my career, which quickly led to me becoming a household name. "As far as I was concerned, I was just filling in." Angela - who was named Newsreader of the Year in 1976, 1977 and 1978 - left BBC News in 1981 and had a very brief stint as a presenter on TV-am's Good Morning Britain news programme in 1983. Her varied seven-decade spanning career has also seen her work on BBC Radio 2, be a stand-in newsreader on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, host a series of Sun, Sea and Bargain Spotting for BBC Two and become a presenter on Cash in the Attic. Rippon is certain she would not be enjoying a "long and rewarding career" if it was not for the BBC giving her a chance in 1975. She admitted: "It was all such a long time ago now. Yet without it, I might still not be enjoying such a long and rewarding career. "It's really flattering that people took me to their hearts all those years ago - and they've never forgotten how my career started." Angela turns 81 on October 12, and she has no plans of retiring. The TV presenter - who spent 15 years fronting the factual BBC One consumer affairs show Rip Off Britain, with the 77-year-old journalist Julia Somerville and the 85-year-old Loose Women panellist Gloria Hunniford - said: "I'm busy, busy, busy - but it beats the alternative. "People don't say to me, 'When are you going to retire?' But why would I stop doing something I love and enjoy while people are still asking me to do it?" Last year, Angela was replaced on Rip Off Britain in 2024 by 56-year-old ex-BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin.

Queen Camilla's touching Strictly comment to Angela Rippon
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Queen Camilla had a touching comment to Angela Rippon when the TV presenter appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. The Queen is said to be the 'one of the greatests fan' of the hit BBC show. Professional dancer Johannes Radebe once revealed she 'never misses' an episode. It meant that Camilla was sure to catch Angela, 80, when she partnered up with professional Kai Widdrington in 2023. Angela was eliminated eighth in the series that saw Coronation Street star Ellie Leach lifting the Glitterball Trophy. Angela became the oldest celebrity to take part in Strictly when she took to the dancefloor. And it seems as though her performance had the royal seal of approval from the Queen. Speaking to Woman's Weekly, the former newsreader said: 'Queen Camilla said we were cool, but I don't know if she voted.' (Image: PA) Angela, who began her television career at BBC South West in 1966, presented Come Dancing. The show is considered to be the forerunner of Strictly, although its competitors were neither celebrities nor professionals. Both Angela and the Queen have spoken about maintaining their love of dance later in life. In 2020, the pair met at a Silver Swans ballet class - a strength session for people over 55 - after which the Queen revealed she likes to dance to stay active. At the time, the Queen said: 'I think we've got to keep active, if we don't, we'll just seize up and you know, we won't be able to get out of bed in the morning. It doesn't matter if it's 10 minutes or 20 minutes, it just starts off the day. I do a combination of a bit of Silver Swans and a bit of pilates and a lot of walking, which I love.' (Image: PA Archive/PA Images) Speaking about her visit to Silver Swans, the Queen said: 'Sarah, the teacher, said, 'Would you ever consider having a lesson?' So I got a group of ancient friends together and the four of us sort of clattered around and when we're in London, we do it once a week, and it makes all the difference. 'I've always loved dance but I've never done ballet before. It doesn't matter if you've done ballet or not, it's something that will make you feel better.' The Queen says learning to dance teaches people 'discipline' while being 'really good fun'. South African dancer Johannes was taken aback by the Queen's fondness of dance when the pair met last year. Speaking after the meeting Johannes, who made history when he partnered with John Whaite as the first same-sex couple, said: 'She adores the show and never misses it. I didn't know she was a lover of tap as well. I do know that she loves Strictly Come Dancing.'

I was on a beautiful island called Vakkaru and it was just a stunning island. "The sea, I'm a scuba diver so I did a bit of scuba diving while I was there, and it was just stunning. The fish, the sharks, the rays, and the food.
