Offered through the National Volunteer Portal, the initiative provides accessible opportunities for those interested in supporting female worshippers across a variety of service areas. Volunteer roles include assisting female visitors with interactive electronic screens inside the mosque, offering multilingual support for non-Arabic speakers, and providing general guidance throughout the mosque's halls and courtyards. Volunteers will also help manage entry and exit in busy areas, support elderly visitors and individuals with special needs, direct women to designated service areas and facilities, and distribute brochures on the proper etiquette of visiting the mosque. The Women's Affairs Agency of the Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched smart interactive screens within the women's prayer areas of the Grand Mosque. This initiative aims to enhance spiritual awareness and offer convenient access to religious knowledge through modern, user-friendly technology. These interactive screens enable female worshippers and pilgrims to explore Islamic literature, access fatwas, and download religious content in 19 international languages—serving the diverse backgrounds of the Grand Mosque's visitors. Dr. Aisha Al-Aqla, the undersecretary for Women's Affairs at the Grand Mosque, highlighted the agency's commitment to expanding smart services across all sectors. She noted ongoing efforts to increase the number of screens to create a more comprehensive religious and educational environment. Each screen currently provides access to over 62 digital Islamic book titles, contributing to a richer and more fulfilling spiritual journey for female visitors. The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has introduced the 'Answering and Guiding Female Inquirers' program, aimed at assisting female worshippers during the last ten days of Ramadan. The initiative, implemented through the Women's Affairs Agency, provides religious guidance and answers to inquiries about rituals, ensuring that female visitors receive the necessary support to perform their worship with ease. To facilitate the program, two locations have been designated for female worshippers: Women's Prayer Area 74 on the ground floor and Women's Prayer Area 84 on the first floor.

MAKKAH: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, through the Women's Affairs Agency, has launched a program to answer visitors' questions about rituals during Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday. The 'Answering and Guiding Female Inquirers' program at the Grand Mosque in Makkah was introduced to accommodate the expected rise in attendance during the last 10 days of the holy month. Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the presidency, emphasized the agency's commitment to the initiative, highlighting its role in providing guidance to female visitors. The program aims to enrich their experience by promoting authentic Islamic knowledge, offering reliable religious guidance and fostering greater awareness in a supportive environment, the SPA reported. To facilitate inquiries, two dedicated locations have been designated: Women's Prayer Area 74 on the ground floor and Women's Prayer Area 84 on the first floor.
