Popular pop-up darts shop set to open

Red Rose Darts' try before you buy pop-up shop is making its debut in Wigton on June 14. The store has over 600 dart sets available for try, including a range of affordable options for beginners. Customers at the White Heather Hotel can test out as many sets as they would like to find their perfect match. Red Rose Darts are also hosting a darts competition where pairs can enter for £10. The format is best of five legs until the semi-final and final. The shop runs a 'try before you buy' policy (Image: Archive)The pop-up is open from 11am- 2pm and competition registration starts at 12pm with the competition kicking off at 1pm. A spokesperson for Red Rose Darts said: 'Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, our darts shop is open to everyone. 'You don't need to participate in the competition to visit us, so feel free to drop by and explore.' The pop-up is also running a nine-dart challenge where you aim to get the highest score over nine dart throws. All proceeds made from the challenge will be donated to support Cumbria Cerebral Palsy to support their fundraising efforts. The pop-up previously visited Carlisle in January following the World Championship of Darts, where Luke Littler claimed the title. As for stock, the shop has a wide variety of darts equipment, including popular player, Stephen Bunting branded 95k darts set and a type of dart, K-flex sets with branding from some of the games top players, such as Luke Littler and Phil 'the Power' Taylor. The event will also provide food and drink, the bar will be open throughout the day, and customers are welcome to bring their own drinks into the shop area. Food will be available all day long.
