Jelly Roll quickly entered the ring, pulled Paul off Orton, and retaliated with a massive right hand of his own. Late in the match, Jimmy nailed an Uso Splash from the top rope, nearly getting the three-count, but Sikoa kicked out just in time. Sikoa followed up with a Spinning Solo, but Jimmy avoided a Samoan Spike and fired back with a pair of superkicks. Jimmy then launched himself off the ropes to take out Talla, Loa, and Mateo at ringside. As the referee began the ten-count, both competitors made it back to the ring. Jimmy landed a stiff kick to Talla, but Sikoa capitalized, rolling Jimmy up for the pin while Talla held him down from the outside, sealing the controversial win. Momentum shifted when LA Knight got back on his feet and unleashed some strikes, gaining control. He followed up with his signature flying elbow drop from the top turnbuckle, but Rollins again kicked out, refusing to stay down. Rollins retaliated with a Buckle Bomb and aimed to finish the match with a Curb Stomp, but Knight dodged just in time. Rollins then connected with a Thrust Kick and launched a springboard senton, keeping the pressure on. Knight fought back with a series of right hands, then stunned Rollins with a neckbreaker and a follow-up DDT. Later in the match, Rollins attempted a springboard Moonsault but appeared to injure his knee mid-air. He took a moment to speak with Paul Heyman and the referee as medical staff checked on him. As the referee rushed in and Goldberg went for the pin, Gunther narrowly kicked out. Mercedes take advantage of McLaren's loose grip on the Constructor's Title
George Russel is leading Mercedes' to the right direction along with rookie Kimi Antonelli. | AFP Image: AFP What started out looking like a sure fire double trophy season for McLaren is quickly making a short left turn into the favour of Mercedes, following a double podium finish in Canada this weekend. Mercedes looked distraught in recent weeks leading up to Canada, bogged down by car troubles and George Russell having his usual tussle with Max Verstappen. There's still no love lost between the two, but the incident between Verstappen and Russell definitely gave the Mercedes driver the need to dig deep and fight fire with fire. Video Player is loading. Advertisement Next Stay Close ✕ It's no wonder where Russell got the will to seize his first win of the year from, and it came at the most opportune moment for Toto Wolff''s team - just as the momentum appears to be fading away at McLaren. Again, Wolff is probably giving himself a pat on the back for signing arguably the hottest rookie in the sport - Kimi Antonelli. Antonelli's bold overtake of Oscar Piastri during the opening lap allowed him the chance to fight for the podium, and he did just that - finish at P3. 'I had a good first launch and I managed to get alongside. In the first corner I just tried to carry as much speed as possible. 'Then when I was alongside him at Turn 2 I knew I would have an advantage, especially going into Turn 3. Really happy to stick that,' Antonelli said about overtaking Piastri. Mercedes have put themselves within reach of the title, 75 points behind McLaren. Russell's consistency in the opening part of the season also means he's within reach of his first World Title this year. Unforced errors and what appears to be a loss of concentration at the papaya camp has allowed Mercedes swoop in mid-season and mount a full-scale attack on the Constructors Title. Lando Norris put a dent in his Championship fight in Canada after crashing into the rear end of Piastri, forcing him to retire from the race and give up vital points for himself and the team.

Who Will Face Gunther for the WWE World Title at SummerSlam?
Who Will Face Gunther for the WWE World Title at SummerSlam? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Gunther may not be unbeatable, but he has a knack for getting to the top and staying there. The Austrian 'Ring General' ruled NXT UK for more than two years before arriving on the main WWE roster. He shattered The Honky Tonk Man's 35-year record by holding the Intercontinental title for 666 days. After winning last year's King of the Ring tournament, Gunther dethroned Damien Priest to become World champion at SummerSlam 2024. Advertisement Jey Uso knocked the champ off his throne at WrestleMania 41, just like Sami Zayn beat Gunther for the IC title at WM 40. But it was only a matter of time before this happened. New World Champion Gunther (Getty) Gunther said last week that he would regain the title because Jey Uso couldn't stop helping his friends. Indeed, Uso came into the match with a rib injury at the hands of Bronson Reed. Gunther beat the weakened Uso on Monday night in Phoenix to recapture the title. On the same night, the King of the Ring tournament began. The winner will challenge for the WWE or World title at SummerSlam. Let's take a look at the brackets. Sami Zayn already won the first match. He could win the KOTR tournament at Night of Champions in front of his adoring fans in Saudi Arabia. Then, Zayn could try to beat Gunther again and win his first World title. Advertisement Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Priest, and Randy Orton are former World champions. Rusev, Aleister Black, and Carmelo Hayes could be ready for a breakout victory. And what about that mystery spot? As the poster suggested, it could be Roman Reigns. But there's one man that we can't forget, especially when it comes to being an opponent for Gunther. Goldberg (Getty) Last year at Bad Blood in Atlanta, Goldberg came out of the crowd and confronted Gunther. The 58-year-old former WCW champion is training for the final match of his career. What better way to go out than with a title vs. career match at SummerSlam against Gunther? Advertisement Remember, Goldberg doesn't have to become King of the Ring. The tournament winner could choose to face John Cena or CM Punk for the WWE title at SummerSlam, while Goldberg can set his sights on Gunther.
