Gardeners race to buy Amazon Prime Day cordless lawn mower and strimmer bundle
Shoppers can get their gardens looking fresh for the summer holidays thanks to this deal
With the summer holidays just around the corner, plenty of people will be looking to get their lawns ready for a summer of garden play. The right lawnmower can make that job so much easier, and thanks to Amazon's Prime Day deals, shoppers don't need to spend a fortune to find the perfect tool.
Now, the Worx WG927E 40V Cordless Lawnmower & Trimmer Twin Pack is £159.49 down from £249.99, saving shoppers 36% on the two-in-one set. The combo kit includes the cordless mower and a cordless grass trimmer, along with two batteries and a dual port charger so both tools can be kept full of juice for whenever they're needed.
Since the tools are cordless, there's no need to worry about keeping them in range of a plug socket while in use, nor getting tangled up in wires or paying for fuel. The mower offers six different levels of cutting height, too, so shoppers can trim their lawns to their ideal length.
Additionally, the trimmer helps get those hard-to-reach areas, so shoppers can get their whole lawn looking great. The tools are said to be cost-efficient with advanced power management, too.
If this lawnmower set isn't calling out to shoppers, they could try the VonHaus 18V Cordless Lawnmower which is £129.99 at Debenhams. This one is compact, so it is perfect for smaller gardens, and it runs for around 25-30 minutes on a single charge.
Alternatively, at B&Q there's the Bosch Cordless Lawnmower Easy Mower for £155, which has a lightweight design and can be used for edges and along walls. It also has three cutting heights from 20-60mm.
However, shoppers have shared their success with the Worx mower set on Amazon. One buyer said, "This lawnmower has changed my life! It's way better than any of the mowers I've had previously."
Another said: "This was a great buy! I usually hate mowing the grass, but with this lawnmower, the task wasn't at all arduous. It glides over the lawn with ease even though my garden isn't particularly flat."
Another added: "Perfect for my small lawn. It's not too heavy and easy enough to turn around corners. Cutting height can be altered by moving a small lever at the front of the machine. It folds up neatly for storage. I can get about four cuts of the lawn before the 2 batteries require charging (it takes approximately two hours to fully charge the batteries)."
Some weren't as pleased, with one buyer writing: "The batteries do not last very long and take four to six hours to fully charge."
