Census firsts: Digital data collection and self-enumeration

Thames Valley Police officer improperly accessed records
A former police officer who accessed official records which related to her partner would have been sacked had she not quit, a police disciplinary panel has ruled. The partner of the female Thames Valley Police officer had "involvement with controlled drugs" which she did not officially declare, despite having multiple opportunities to do former police constable was granted anonymity by TVP so she cannot be named publicly and was referred to in TVP papers as Former Officer X.A panel found she once properly accessed a file relating to a drugs investigation involving the man but that there was "clearly no legitimate policing purpose" for doing so again in December 2019 and May 2020.
