Yonder Credit Card Review
Especially for city-dwellers who travel frequently and habitually clear their monthly credit card balance, Yonder could be a good fit for day-to-day spending. The provider also offers a choice between a free and pay-monthly option depending on the level benefits you want to access. rewards tend to centre around major cities £15 monthly fee to access top rewards high interest rate on card balances Yonder is a Mastercard travel and rewards credit card that offers benefits including yonderpoints, which are redeemable against restaurant bills and lifestyle experiences. There are no foreign exchange (FX) fees when using the card abroad. There are also no cash withdrawal fees both abroad and in the UK. However, limits apply*. There are two versions of the card: one with free membership, and another that charges a monthly fee but offers additional perks such as boosted points earning, cashback on spending and worldwide travel insurance . The full membership credit card also offers Yonder Flights, which allows customers to redeem points to pay towards the cost of tickets with any airline. Who is Yonder? Yonder is a fintech start-up company that launched its first app-based rewards credit card in 2022. The card was primarily targeted at Millennial and Gen Z professionals living in and around London, but it has since broadened its reach to other cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Bath. In April 2025, NatWest became a minority investor in Yonder. Here are the key points of both the Free and Full Membership Yonder credit cards: no monthly or annual fee reward points scheme with selected partners no FX when you spend overseas. £15 per month fee (or £160 if paid annually) 0.5% cashback on spending enhanced rewards scheme and welcome bonus free worldwide travel insurance redeem points against any flight with any airline no FX fees when you spend overseas. Cardholders earn yonderpoints on spending on their Yonder credit card at a rate of one point per £1 spent with the free membership account, and five points per £1 spent with the full membership card. Points can then be redeemed against a range of dining and lifestyle benefits with Yonder partners. These include theatre tickets, restaurants and bars, meal prep companies, fitness brands, car rental and – for full membership card holders – flights. Yonder's team of specialists select between 15 and 20 tailored offers and experiences at which cardholders can opt to redeem their yonderpoints. Partner brands include the likes of Bao and Fallow restaurants, Frive meal kits, Sucre, Grind, Padella, Hoppers and Soma cocktail bars. Full membership cardholders will have access to the full range of yonderpoint rewards partners. Yonderpoints have no expiry date. How to use yonderpoints You can redeem yonderpoints by simply selecting 'use points' in the Yonder app. When using your Yonder card, if you have enough points, they will be used automatically to pay – up to Yonder's fair use limit. You can check the fair use limits for each offer or experience in the Yonder app. Yonder also offers a top-up feature, which means customers can pay money onto their card to effectively increase their credit limit. This can make monthly card bill payments more manageable, while the extra can be used for purchases to earn points without using credit. Rewards and benefits With the Free Membership, cardholders earn one yonderpoint for every £1 spent on the card, plus up to five points on spending at selected partners. On the Full Membership plan, points are earned at a rate of five per £1 spent or up to 25 per £1 with selected partners. In addition, you'll get 10,000 yonderpoints as a welcome bonus when you sign up. The yonderpoints you earn are rounded down to the nearest pound on card spend. So if you're a free member and you spend £1.99 on the card, for example, you would earn one yonderpoint. Referring a friend can earn you up to 10,000 yonderpoints if they take a Full Membership card or 2,000 for the Free Membership card. Points have different values depending on where you choose to redeem them. As a benchmark however, one yonderpoint under the Free Membership plan is worth around 0.5 pence and one point under the Full Membership plan is worth up to 2.5p at redemption. Full members can also earn cashback in addition to their yonderpoints, where one point earned will be worth 0.5p in cashback. Other benefits of both types of Yonder card include fee-free overseas use. The Full Membership account offers additional perks, including worldwide travel insurance and cashback on purchases. Interest rates and fees The purchase rates on the Yonder credit card are relatively high at 32.26% APR variable for the free card, and 29.32% APR variable for Full Membership. The monthly fee applied on the full membership card means that the overall representative APR – which includes the interest rate and fees – is high at 66.0% (variable). There are no late fees if you don't pay your credit card bill but you'll accrue interest on any unpaid bills and interest charges. Are my purchases protected with the Yonder card? Yonder is a credit card, which means cardholders can benefit from payment protection under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act . This means purchases of more than £100 and up to £30,000 – even if just the deposit is put on the card – are protected. You'll need to be aged between 18 and 65 and a UK resident to be eligible for a Yonder card. You're also likely to need a regular income and a relatively strong credit score. There's an eligibility checker tool on Yonder's website so you can find out your chances of being accepted first using a soft credit check that won't show up on your credit report. This can be a prudent step before making a formal application, because you could harm your credit score if you're rejected. Yonder customer service The Yonder card must be both applied for and managed in the app. Yonder has a support hub on its website with a broad range of FAQs – such as about redeeming points or setting up automatic payments to clear your card balance. You can email with questions too – but customers are encouraged to use the live chat facility offered in the app. While this is marketed as 24/7, it may use AI chatbots at certain times and you may have to wait for the on-call human assistant. Yonder has a 4.5 Trustpilot rating (out of 5) from more than 1,200 customer reviews. Among the comments, users talk about Yonder being 'a card I can use abroad without it costing me a fortune in fees' and 'great rewards, and customer service has consistently been fantastic'. What are the alternatives to the Yonder card? If you're looking for a rewards credit card , there's a wide range to consider. These deals tend to come with perks, such as cashback or airmiles on spending, and various other lifestyle and travel rewards. Again, however, the standard purchase interest rates can be high, so you'll get the best value if you can pay off your balance every month to avoid interest charges. There is also a range of travel credit cards on the market that can save considerable money in charges. *Up to £150 per day (spread across three transactions) and up to five withdrawals every seven days to a total maximum of £600 per week. Note also that cash withdrawals are reported to credit reference agencies. Frequent or large withdrawals may affect your credit score, so Yonder advises to use cash withdrawals responsibly.

Summary BAOis set to mark its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of Taiwanese-inspired innovation in London's culinary landscape. Founded by Shing Tat Chung,Erchen Changand Wai Ting Chung, BAO began as a humble street food venture, operating with nothing more than a cool box and a steamer. Over the years, it has grown into a renowned restaurant brand, famed for its cult-status Taiwanese steamed buns andxiao chiplates, influencing London's perception of Taiwanese cuisine. To honor this milestone, guests can enjoy BAO's classic steamed buns at their original street food stall price starting June 10 for a month. Guests can indulge in beloved fillings like braised pork belly, beef short rib and vegan daikon, all folded into BAO's pillowy-soft buns, delivering a nostalgic yet celebratory experience. Meanwhile, the restaurant is also unveiling a brand-new menu, introducing an entire section dedicated to Taiwanese fried chicken, featuring charcoal-finished fried chicken steak — a UK-first. Guests can personalize their dish with a house BBQ glaze dusted with garlic chili powder or a chili lime pour with shredded cabbage, alongside sticky Peking caramel wings and nuggets paired with Sichuan mayo, hot sauce, basil ranch, or yushiang for dipping. Beyond its savory selections, BAO is debuting the BAONUT, a decadent fusion of fluffy BAO and crispy Taiwanese donut, offering a unique twist on classic indulgence. Other exciting additions include a new calamari BAO, dry beef noodles infused with rich bone marrow, and a summer salad topped with juicy grilled chicken. The refreshing lineup of bubble teas introduces an aromatic mango and salted coconut flavor, expanding BAO's beverage offerings. Reflecting on the journey, Shing Tat Chung shared, 'We started BAO with no expectations – just three young creatives with a passion for food and design. We could not have imagined the journey that would come over the next decade.' Co-founder Erchen Chang added, 'We're grateful to every single one of our guests and team members from over the years and excited to celebrate our 10th birthday in style. Having recently been back to Taiwan, we're mixing up our menu for the first time, adding some new additions inspired by our trip. We can't wait to welcome BAO fans both old and new over the next month.' The anniversary celebrations will culminate in the Battle of the BAO, where alumni and current BAO chefs will compete for a spot on the new permanent menu. Hosted in collaboration with premium rewards card Yonder, the event promises a showcase of creativity and culinary expertise. BAO's new menu and special £3.50 GBP (approx. $5 USD) pricing will officially launch on June 10 with the celebratory offer available across all locations until July 10, 2025.

Adelaide's Sunsick Daisy Take Us Track-By-Track Through Their New EP ‘Yonder'
It's been a busy year for Adelaide indie dreamers Sunsick Daisy. They've supported UK rock veterans Feeder and American slackers The Lemonheads, they've embarked on their own national tour and picked up airplay from both triple j locally and KEXP over in the US. Today (May 30th), the four-piece are sharing their second EP, Yonder. Recorded with Jared Nettle in their native Adelaide, the five-track effort sees the band enter what they're describing as 'a new era'. You can judge for yourself by streaming the EP in full below, along with insights on each of its songs directly from the band themselves, exclusively for Music Feeds. 'Hideaway' marks the beginning of a new era for us. The chorus lyrics were written around a quote that Sarah [Grainger, lead vocalist] had written down in their notes, and the rest of the song grew from there. At its core, it's about finding a safe place in the people you love to grow and change at your own pace, and know that whoever you are, you're loved. Determined to take a new song into rehearsal, Kane [Gabbell, guitar] came up with a bouncy guitar intro, over which Sarah wove in a vocal melody, and guitar countermelodies developed from there to create this lush soundscape. This is a song about loss. While the lyrics stemmed from the loss of Sarah's childhood pet, it's equally applicable to anyone dealing with grief or regret. It's simultaneously sad, angry, defeated, and cathartic in its delivery, with hard-hitting choruses and wailing guitar lines. The reflective verses and angry outbursts of the chorus are matched lyrically and musically, so you're carried by the dynamics. 'It'll Be Alright' was born from anxiety, and a desire for a pick-me-up in song form. The writing process was therapeutic, and the simple repetition of the chorus serves as a mantra to ease your worries. Kane was inspired one night to write an easily accessible, upbeat song to help him express ways of dealing with anxiety through the support of others. Wrapped in the band's signature hazy wall of sound, 'It'll Be Alright' acts as a warm, comforting hug from a friend you haven't seen in forever – arriving just when you need it the most. This was one of those spontaneous songs that came together really quickly. When Kane wrote the chords, we felt it had a disappointed-angry vibe, so we asked ourselves: 'What makes you mad?' 'Bite My Tongue' is a spit in the eye of anyone who gaslights you. 'Yonder, Young Wonder' is a moving, almost orchestral arrangement of grinding guitars and vocal harmonies. The song carries you along a journey of reflection, as you dive deeper into the need to let go of the past and be in the moment to allow space for the future. Yonder . Kota raises over $14m in Series A round to drive its worker-benefits software
The company, formerly called Yonder, also announced it has secured a Central Bank of Ireland licence, becoming one of the only tech platforms regulated to deliver benefits across Europe. Kota (as Yonder) was founded by CEO Luke Mackey, Patrick O'Boyle and Deepak Baliga. Its customers include Zoe Health, Poolside, Carwow, Tines, &Open and Protex AI. Kota integrates with some of Europe's largest insurance providers, including Vitality in the UK, ONVZ in the Netherlands, Sanitas in Spain, Irish Life Health in Ireland and Allianz Global Care internationally. The company says that the funding will be used to expand the Kota workforce, increase the variety of insurance carrier partners in its products and accelerate customer acquisition. The Series A round was led by Eurazeo, which is listed on Euronext Paris, along with existing investors EQT Ventures, Northzone, Frontline Ventures, and new investors 9Yards and Plug and Play. Employee benefits are systematically undervalued and expensive The company's service aims to fix what it calls a 'broken' system where a combination of old-fashioned insurance or benefits providers, PDFs and manual processes make benefits inaccessible and unmanageable to a lot of employees. The company claims to fix this, comparing itself to Revolut's effect on traditional banking. It integrates directly with insurers and pension providers, giving employees immediate access and control, as well as giving HR teams a single platform to manage everything. 'Employee benefits, which can make up 25pc of total compensation, are systematically undervalued and expensive,' said Luke Mackey, Kota's CEO. 'I experienced this as a founder and a general manager, managing benefits in email, between brokers and insurance companies, completely disconnected and alien from anything else in the business. It's entirely out of date. Ultimately, no one on the team connected or engaged with them, no matter how much we invested. 'It's not surprising. Insurance benefits are delivered in clunky portals or in PDFs, which is so unengaging compared to the financial experiences employees are used to. 'Kota integrates directly with insurance companies so we can control that experience and make it easy to roll out and run benefits, no matter who you are or where your team is. 'This means that employees can quickly understand, enrol, access coverage, retirement plans, or other benefits, and actually value them.' Kota says that employee benefits, while growing into a $70bn market, are still 'unfit' for lean, forward-thinking start-ups and scale-ups populated by millennials and Gen Z workers. 'With a tech-first approach, they've built a robust technical and financial infrastructure,' said Elise Stern from Eurazeo. 'This includes deep integrations with insurers across dozens of countries, visibility across the benefits stack, and a seamless API that allows partners from HR information systems to payroll to embed benefits natively.'
