Wigan go back top & York thrash Barrow
Wigan Warriors returned to the top of Women's Super League with an 80-0 demolition of bottom side York Valkyrie thrashed Barrow Raiders 58-0 for a fifth straight win to move level on points with St Helens who dropped from the summit to Tiana and Shaniah Power both crossed inside five minutes for unbeaten Wigan before a Cerys Jones double and scores from Georgia Wilson, Mia Atherton and Tiana Power's second put the leaders out of sight by Power and Jones completed hat-tricks after Megan Williams crossed to take the Warriors past 50 points before Australian centre Power added her fourth. Tries from Eva Hunter, Remi Wilton, and Kaitlin Hilton capped a 14-try Rowe added 12 goals from 14 attempts as Wigan made it 156 points without reply from their past two WSL champions in the last two seasons, were made to work hard by second-bottom Barrow in the first half, building a 16-0 half-time lead thanks to Savannah Andrade, Lisa Parker and Emma Kershaw the floodgates opened after the break as Peace Lekuru scored her first WSL tries with a hat-trick. Zoe Hornby, Emma Kershaw, Tara Moxon, Evie Sexton, Eboni Partington and Andrade also crossed as the Raiders shipped nine second-half tries.

Wigan thrash Giants to return to top of Women's Super League
Wigan Warriors cruised back to the top of the Women's Super League as they thrashed fifth-placed Huddersfield Giants unbeaten Warriors ran in 13 tries to move a point clear of St Helens, who remain the only side not to lose to Wigan this season following their 22-22 draw a fortnight scored six first-half tries to lead 32-0 at the break, including the first of what would prove to be a hat-trick by centre Molly Anna Davies scored twice in a four-minute spell midway through the second half before Jones added two in succession towards the end of the game as Wigan crossed seven more win bettered their 58-0 victory over the Giants in their first meeting a month ago. Elsewhere York Valkyrie consolidated third place with a 28-4 victory at home to sixth-placed Leigh from Evie Sexton, Georgie Dagger and Tamzin Renouf put York 16-4 ahead at the break before Eboni Partington and Agnes Wood crossed in the second Raiders won their bottom-of-the-table clash with Warrington Wolves 52-10 in Cumbria. The victory was just Barrow's second of the season - the other coming at Warrington last month - and keeps them second-from-bottom of the table, four points above their winless opponents.

Wigan return to top as York and Leeds also win
Wigan Warriors thrashed Leigh Leopards 60-6 to extend their unbeaten start and return to the top of Women's Super heavy rain, Denis Betts' side easily overcame the Leopards, who started the day fourth in the table, to make it five wins out of five in the league. It was more straightforward for Leeds, despite them falling behind to Barrow when Vanessa Temple scored in the first that it was one-way traffic for the third-placed Rhinos as Ebony Stead ran in four tries and Sophie Nuttall scored a Cousins, Frankie Blakey, Ella Donnelly, Connie Boyd and Liv Whitehead also crossed for dominant Leeds.

Women's Super League: Saints beat Barrow to go top
St Helens moved to the top of Women's Super League by dominating Barrow to edge above previous leaders Wigan Warriors on won 40-6 at sixth-placed Barrow for their third victory in the opening four games of the leading by just two points at half-time, St Helens scored six times in the second half without on Saturday, York Valkyrie beat Leigh Leopards 26-0 to move level on points with their fourth-placed opponents and third-placed Huddersfield can regain top spot if they win at Huddersfield on Sunday. WSL roundup: Wigan score 106 points to go top
The Hunter sisters scored seven tries between them as Wigan Warriors topped 100 points against Barrow Raiders to claim top spot in Women's Super League. The relentless Warriors ran in 19 tries with Ruby Hunter, Eva Hunter and Ellse Derbyshire all claiming trebles while Grace Banks and Kaitlin Hilton scored two apiece, and Holly Speakman, Cerys Jones, Vicky Molyneux, Molly Jones, Jenna Foubister and Mia Atherton also went over. Isabel Rowe kicked 15 conversions, with Jodie Morley scoring Barrow's only try and Nicole Benson converting as the scoreline ended up at 106-6. Reigning champions York Valkyrie withstood a strong Leeds Rhinos fightback in the second half to notch their first league win of the season with a 24-16 scoreline. The Yorkshire derby saw tries from Tara Moxon and Eboni Partington put York in control at half time but Izzy Northrop and Jenna Greening went over, and Mel Howard's sole conversion edged Rhinos ahead. Zoe Hornby scored against her old team to restore the Valkyrie lead but Frankie Blakey and another Howard conversion made it 16-14 to the away side. York stepped on the gas after that, as Emma Kershaw and Moxon's second try earned them a 24-16 victory. Challenge Cup finalists St Helens racked up their first Super League win of the season with a comfortable 36-0 win at Huddersfield Giants which takes them third in the table. After initial strong resistance from a Giants side which won at Warrington Wolves last week, Vicky Whitfield sparked Saints into life by scoring with her first touch after going on as a replacement. Dani McGifford added another try before half time and after the break further scores from Georgia Sutherland, Chantelle Crowl, Phoebe Hook, Rachael Woosey and Darcy Stott eased them to victory as Luci McColm added four conversions.
