Young & Restless' Murder Investigation Will Bring a Mountain of Trouble Down on [Spoiler]… *Despite* an Ironclad Alibi
As Chance's impromptu murder investigation gets underway on Young & Restless, he'll have to question everyone at the chateau in Nice. As Devon pointed out in the weekly preview, they're all suspects. The case will cause massive troubles for one possible suspect even though they have an ironclad alibi. In fact, it's the alibi itself that will present the problem! While the likes of Jack and Diane roamed the maze, the shocking murder of Damian Kane took place in the statue garden. Phyllis witnessed the tail end of the attack, Cane, of course, was with the victim, and his lawyer, Amanda, was with Lily, but everyone else has yet to account for their whereabouts at the time of the killing. Jack worked to assauge her concerns by declaring that he may not trust Audra Charles, but he trusts their son implicitly. We're not sure why he feels this way given Kyle's track record, but that's neither here nor there. Indeed, the last time Young & Restless viewers saw Kyle, he was in Audra's sleeping cabin indulging in a celebratory champagne toast after Cane had agreed to help them salvage their 'perfume battle' publicity campaign. We don't know if things went any further than that, but the bottom line is that whether they hopped into bed together or not… they're now each other's alibi. Unfortunately for Kyle, this is hugely problematic. Word is bound to spread that Kyle and Audra were together at the time of the murder, thus clearing them of suspicion but landing the Abbott in an impossibly horrible situation. Even if he stayed true to Claire, Victor's got the ammunition he needs to make it appear otherwise. Kyle signed a contract promising to leave Genoa City and pay The Mustache $5 million smackeroos if he hurt Claire. Guess what? When Grandpa tells his grieving granddaughter that Kyle was canoodling with Audra while she was dealing with the death of her dad… she's gonna be hurt. Yep, Kyle may manage to escape being a suspect in a bloody murder, but his ironclad alibi is set to bring a veritable mountain of trouble down on his head, SOAPS readers. Former Young & Restless Star Daniel Goddard Says His Time on the Show ‘Amounted to Nothing'
Daniel Goddard is well-known among The Young and the Restless fans for his roles as Cane Ashby and Caleb Atkinson. Recently, the actor made a shocking revelation years after leaving the show, stating that his time there brought him nothing. Here is everything you need to know about Goddard's latest statement regarding the popular soap opera. Daniel Goddard, a former star of The Young and the Restless, recently began portraying Professor Henry Dalton on General Hospital. In a recent interview with Woman's World, Goddard discussed his new role and reflected on his time on The Young and the Restless. He mentioned that he had stepped away from acting but was invited to audition for the role of Jack Brennan on General Hospital. However, at the time, he was focused on his business ventures. The 53-year-old also shared that it was difficult for him to get back to auditioning after stepping away from acting. He said, 'I had a lot of hesitation because I had a lot of fear. Fear of not being good, of failing, of letting down a fanbase.' Goddard added how 'those 12 years or so on Y&R amounted to nothing, because I was back to auditioning.' However, Goddard managed to overpower his fear and had a great time auditioning. He shared, 'When I left, I thought, 'Geez, I missed that!' Because I hadn't auditioned in four years. I had no intention of going back to acting, but it was a moment of awakening for me.' Daniel Goddard discussed the differences between working on both shows. He explained that in The Young and the Restless, actors receive the entire script, which allows them to see what other characters are saying about them. 'I was also always going into the writers' room to read scripts four weeks ahead, so I'd know where the character was going,' he said. On the other hand, in General Hospital, he only receives the pages that include his own character. Mrs. Ervin affectionately known as 'Kat', was born January 14, 1955 in Danville, Virginia, a daughter of William Croom and Alberta Price. She enjoyed shopping, socializing, watching soap operas (the Young & Restless, Bold and Beautiful and As the World Turns. She was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. However, her passion was being with her family. She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, two daughters, Katina Comer and Ta'Shawnda Price both of Youngstown; six grandchildren, April, De'Jeux, Regina, Reginald, III, Naquan, and Evan; four great grandchildren; six sisters, Barbara, Shirley, Joyce, JoAnn, Katherine (her twin), and Jeannette; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Ervin. Private services were held at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
