Anison 101: A Beginner's Guide to Anime Songs
Anime songs, also known as anison, are more than just catchy intros. Anison is actually a well-established genre within Japan's music industry, with dedicated artists, composers and fans who celebrate these songs both inside and outside the anime community. Many anison tracks become mainstream hits, performed at concerts and karaoke bars nationwide, reflecting their wide appeal beyond just being theme music for shows. Whether you're just starting to notice how great the music is, or you've watched an entire series solely because you liked its theme, here's a guide to the world of anime songs — and exactly why they stick with us. List of Contents: Types of Anime Songs A Brief History of Anison Starter Playlists How To Enjoy the World of Anison Related Posts Types of Anime Songs Anime music blends storytelling and sound. Opening (OP) and ending (ED) themes are often written specifically for a series, echoing its themes or characters' emotional arcs. From intense battle tracks to tearful piano solos, anime songs span every genre, and often top Japanese music charts too. The various types of anison are broadly categorized into four genres: Opening Themes (OPs): Usually upbeat or dramatic, setting the tone at the beginning of the episode. Ending Themes (EDs): Often slower, offering emotional reflection after each episode. Insert Songs: Played during major scenes, including fights, deaths or confessions. Character/Image Songs: An interlude spliced into episodes in key moments for a character's development, often performed by the characters' voice actors. These themes offer extra insight into a character. A Brief History of Anison Anime music gained momentum in the 1960s with upbeat, kid-friendly themes like Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy — simple, catchy and easy to sing along to. By the '70s and '80s, series like Lupin the Third and Gundam introduced more dramatic, orchestral intros that matched the rising intensity of anime storytelling. The 1990s, often considered the golden age of anime, marked a turning point. Songs like 'A Cruel Angel's Thesis' from Neon Genesis Evangelion became pop culture phenomena, blurring the line between anime theme and mainstream J-pop. Other hits like Sailor Moon 's 'Moonlight Densetsu' and Cowboy Bebop 's 'Tank!' helped anime songs climb real music charts. In the 2000s, artists like Yui, Ikimono Gakari and UVERworld brought rock and emotional ballads into the anime space, while seiyuu (voice actors) began holding concerts and releasing albums. Anime songs were no longer just theme music but full-fledged hits. With the rise of streaming in the 2010s and global smash hits like 'Gurenge' from Demon Slayer and 'Unravel' from Tokyo Ghoul , anison reached a worldwide audience. Today, anime music is a vital piece of modern Japanese pop culture. Starter Playlists You can know as many facts about anison as you want, but nothing beats actually listening to them. Play the music videos or live performances on YouTube (there are some iconic The First Take episodes with popular anime hits) and you'll fall in love with the passion and talent of the artists. If you want to go deeper, you can join virtual anison events or a fan community: Discord servers, subreddits and even YouTube comments sections can be surprisingly wholesome spaces to trade recommendations. And if you're feeling bold, head to a convention or an anison club night, where you can belt out your favorite OPs or experience glow stick choreography up close. Yes, that's a thing: fans at concerts often bring penlights and memorize choreographed movements to support their favorite performers in sync. Learning a call-and-response or perfecting a glow stick routine sounds intense, but there's something uniquely immersive (and oddly cathartic) about dancing in time with thousands of other fans, all to the beat of a show you love. Whether you're queuing up playlists or planning your next karaoke night, diving into anison is one of the most joyful ways to celebrate the anime you love. nhentai.nef: The Lost Archive of Forbidden Pages
In the ever-expanding universe of digital lore and fantasy fiction, few titles ignite curiosity like ' The Lost Archive of Forbidden Pages.' This fictional chronicle isn't just a name—it's an echo of curiosity, an ode to the hidden, and a plunge into the untamed depths of the illustrated imagination. Long before mainstream fandom embraced manga's wilder edges, there were whispers of a secret file: . Said to be an encrypted archive of stories deemed too strange, too powerful, or too seductive for conventional platforms, it existed beyond typical firewalls—accessible only by those who dared to explore the deeper corners of internet mythos. Unlike .net , .nef symbolizes something… different. A ghost file. A 'never-ending fantasy.' A vault of imagination outside the ordinary structure of time and censorship. The narrative begins with a curious digital archaeologist—an artist, coder, and manga enthusiast named Yui—who stumbles upon a line of corrupted code embedded in an abandoned FTP server. The sequence points to , a shadow archive once maintained by a mysterious collective of underground illustrators known only as 'The Inkbound.' Each page within the archive opens like a puzzle: riddles in forgotten dialects, glyphs styled in erotic symbology, and illustrations that blur the line between fantasy and forbidden memory. Yui's journey becomes a quest not only to decode the pages but to understand the creators. Were they rogue artists? Exiled visionaries? Or had they simply channelled something too real for the screen to contain? 'The Lost Archive of Forbidden Pages' isn't just another salacious tale. It's a metaphor. The archive represents the raw parts of the creative mind—the corners we don't show, the stories we fear to publish. Each tale within speaks to longing, shame, indulgence, and truth. This fictional project taps into digital folklore. Just as gamers talk about haunted cartridges or cryptic mods, is positioned as an artistic myth—one that merges internet culture, lost files, and adult imagination. Forums speak of users claiming to 'see' the archive during system glitches, their screens flooding with ancient manga glyphs. Others say the archive reads you , adapting its stories to your unspoken curiosities. In an era of polished content and algorithmic curation, the concept of an untamed, raw, and human-driven archive resonates deeply. It's rebellious. Unfiltered. Personal. nhentai. The Lost Archive of Forbidden Pages embodies that rebellion—a symbol of what's lost when creativity is constrained by trends, corporate boundaries, or safe algorithms. It represents what art looks like when it's unafraid. Though fictional, the Inkbound serve as a tribute to real-life creators who work on the edges—doujinshi artists, indie animators, uncensored illustrators—those who pour their emotions into works that may never go viral, but remain honest and unflinching. Their 'lost archive' may never truly exist, but it reminds us to look for the real, the raw, the unfinished. Whether or not is real, or just a digital campfire story, its legend continues to spread across subreddits, Discord servers, and creative circles. Artists are now creating their own 'forbidden pages' inspired by the myth, sharing sketches and stories under the tag #nhentainef. In a world of controlled feeds and filtered truths, maybe that's exactly what we need—a little more mystery, imagination, and the courage to open forbidden pages. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Taiwan envoy urges congressional action, warns of rising China threat after meeting lawmakers
Taiwan's top envoy to the U.S. urged the Senate to ease tax burdens between the two countries and asked Congress to fast-track foreign military sales, following a closed-door lunch Wednesday with the House. Ambassador Alexander Tah-Ray Yui, Taipei's top representative in Washington, told Fox News Digital that he is encouraged that U.S. leaders recognize the urgent existential threat China poses, but emphasized the need to get weapons into the hands of the Taiwanese military more quickly and to address issues impeding two-way investment. "We appreciate the United States prioritizing Taiwan and helping us strengthen our defense capabilities," Yui said. "We're cheering on more military commitments to the states and [a] joint effort to speed up the delivery of the products that we bought." Yui called on the Senate to advance a stalled double taxation agreement, which has already cleared the House. Robert Maginnis: 9 Signs Beijing's Taiwan Invasion May Be Imminent "That's an important incentive for Taiwanese companies to come to the United States and invest – but also vice versa for U.S. companies to go to Taiwan," he said. "We are the only one of the large trading partners without this treatment, which is worrying for the whole country right now." Read On The Fox News App By a vote of 423 to 1, the House last Congress passed the United States-Taiwan Expedited Double-Tax Relief Act, legislation that prevents double taxation on cross-border investments. The ambassador also offered a sobering assessment of China's increasingly belligerent posture in the Taiwan Strait and across the Indo-Pacific. "We are concerned," Yui said. "The [People's Liberation] Army and Navy are increasing their activities around Taiwan, harassing our territorial waters and airspace. These provocations are constant." While emphasizing that "we don't want war," he noted that the U.S. and regional partners have begun ramping up their own defenses, recognizing the threat. 'Coming For Us': Expert Sounds Alarm On Ccp's Mission To 'Kill Americans' After Fbi Makes Shocking Arrests Rep. August Pfluger, who chairs the influential RSC, told Fox News Digital that the meeting was a show of solidarity with Taiwan's democratic government and a rebuke of China's authoritarian policies. "China is an existential threat to Taiwan," said Pfluger, a Texas Republican. "The difference between mainland China and Taiwan is how they treat human life. Taiwan values openness. China suppresses free speech, targets groups like the Uyghur Muslims – it's deeply concerning." The lunch meeting, attended by dozens of House Republicans, comes amid rising tensions in the region – but just as President Donald Trump announced a deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping to ease the trade war. While Pfluger did not commit to further supplemental aid, he said he supports efforts by both nations to strengthen military readiness, including Taiwan's move to increase defense spending to 3% of GDP. "It stands to reason that Taiwan increasing their own internal spending on defense, as well as the U.S. recapitalizing our Navy and Air and Space Forces, is vitally important," he said. Asked what message Congress wants to send to the Taiwanese people, Pfluger was unequivocal: "We stand by them – as an ally, as a trading partner, as a democracy facing tyranny just next door." The conversation came at a time when U.S. military officials are warning China is readying for battle in the Indo-Pacific in an effort to "dominate" the region. "Beijing is preparing for war in the Indo-Pacific as part of its broader strategy to dominate that region and then the world," Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told Congress this week. He added that such an outcome could put the U.S. economy and its supply chains in a choke hold. "China is undertaking a historic military buildup and actively rehearsing for an invasion of Taiwan," he said. "These aggressive maneuvers are not routine exercises, they are rehearsals for a forced unification," Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, added in his own testimony. Taiwan has recently renewed an effort to purge its ranks of Chinese sympathizers, indicting four people on Tuesday suspected of spying for China that had infiltrated the presidential office. Two Chinese aircraft carriers spotted conducting operations in the Pacific demonstrated the country's "expansionist" aims, Taiwan Defense Minister Wellington Koo said Wednesday. "Crossing from the first island chain into the second island chain sends a definite political message and their expansionist nature can be seen," he told reporters in Taipei. The first island chain refers to the region from Japan to Taiwan and the Philippines to Borneo and the second island chain spreads farther into the Pacific, toward the U.S. territory of article source: Taiwan envoy urges congressional action, warns of rising China threat after meeting lawmakers

It took mere hours, but Elden Ring Nightreign already has duos in development thanks to the modding icon behind Dark Souls and Armored Core co-op
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The modding icon who added seamless co-op to several FromSoftware hits - including Dark Souls Remastered, Armored Core 6, and the base Elden Ring - has now turned their gaze to the developer's new multiplayer-focused game, Elden Ring Nightreign. Elden Ring Nightreign squeezes the open-world epic into tight, 45-minute-ish rounds designed around co-op play. But at the time of writing, you can only enter The Lands Between solo or in trios - there isn't an option to start a round with only two players. Hypothetically, the only way to play duos is to begin a match with three people and hope one of them leaves. Enter modder Yui, who got a two-player Elden Ring Nightreign session up and running just hours after the game's mammoth launch. In the description for the short demonstration of the in-development mod, Yui mentions that the mod "runs without connecting to the matchmaking server, [so] it is possible to use additional mods during gameplay." The modder also says they "made it for fun," but hopefully it sees a proper release some day - if FromSoftware doesn't add a duos matchmaking option first, that is. Elden Ring Nightreign director Junya Ishizaki recently admitted the team somewhat "neglected the duos aspect" while making the game since everyone was so focused on balancing trios to a tee. The lack of duos hasn't gone unnoticed, though, as Nightreign's Steam user reviews are the second-lowest in FromSoft history. Of course, simply adding a two-player mode and balancing the game around two players are different things entirely (the latter probably takes a lot more time to get just right), but I can imagine it's worth it for the couples who want to spend their date nights in Elden Ring Nightreign without getting interrupted by a third-wheeler. For now, you can check out Yui's other swell co-op mods on NexusMods. Stay prepared with our guide on all Elden Ring Nightreign classes and tier list

How to play Elden Ring NightReign co-op? Exploring best mods, settings, setup guide, and more
There is a common query among the Soulsbourne regarding Elden Ring NightReign co-op . This new installment of Elden Ring arrived with fresh bosses, expansive areas, and deep lore, but it missed the mark on co-op functionality. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Without mods, players are limited to solo play or random three-player sessions. For those wanting to play Elden Ring NightReign co-op, the solution comes from an unexpected hero—a modder who fixed the issue within hours of the game's release. How to play Elden Ring NightReign co-op Even though you don't have the option by default, you can play Elden Ring NightReign co-op by installing a simple mod. Known as the Elden Ring NightReign Seamless co-op mod, you can play with your friends if you have this mod file installed on your computer. What is the Elden Ring NightReign seamless co-op mod? The Elden Ring NightReign seamless co-op mod overhauls the game's multiplayer system, allowing players to team up exclusively with their chosen companions. No random matchmaking, no abrupt disconnections—just uninterrupted exploration of Limveld with friends. So I Tried Elden Ring: Nightreign.. Modder Yui uploaded the mod to NexusMods shortly after NightReign's launch on May 30. This quick fix came as a surprise, especially since the game's director admitted that two-player co-op was "overlooked" during development. From Software has hinted at possibly adding official two-player support later, but for now, the mod fills the gap. How to install the Elden Ring NightReign seamless co-op mod Follow these steps to set up the mod and start playing with friends: 1. Download the mod from the [Seamless Co-op for NightReign NexusMods page]( 2. Extract the files using WinRAR or 7-Zip. 3. Move the extracted files to your NightReign game folder (default location: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN\Game`). Tired of too many ads? go ad free now 4. Open `nrsc_settings.ini` and adjust the player count (2 or 3). 5. Launch the game using `nrsc_launcher.exe`. To return to the vanilla game, simply launch Elden Ring NightReign through Steam as usual. Uninstalling the mod is just as easy—delete the added files, and no additional cleanup is needed. Key considerations before using the Elden Ring NightReign seamless co-op mod - Steam must be running in online mode (offline mode is not supported). - All players must have the same game and mod version installed. - Invites are handled through Steam—no in-game summoning signs required. The mod avoids detection by From Software's anti-cheat system by disabling official matchmaking and using a separate save file. As long as players don't manipulate the mod to connect with unmodded players, there's no risk of bans. With an improved Elden Ring NightReign co-op stability, high-level players can dive back into Elden Ring's world, pushing the limits of what's possible in multiplayer. The easier it is to play with friends, the more creative the community becomes.
