Search ongoing for man believed taken by crocodile

KINABATANGAN: A man is feared missing after he was reportedly attacked by a crocodile while fishing near a river at Tomanggong Estate, Sukau, on Sunday afternoon. Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station acting chief Yus Pg Pinsin said they received an emergency call from the Sukau Police Station at 1.14pm.
Advertisement The victim, identified as Mare Miri, was believed to have been attacked by a crocodile during a fishing activity. A team from the Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene and a search and rescue operation is underway.
