‘I need this,' shoppers go wild for Tesco's perfect summer co-ord

WHEN it comes to summer hols it's all about fashion - but making it comfy. A co-ord is a brilliant way to make a statement and looking effortlessly chic. 2 And Tesco has just released a new matching set that is perfect for the season. Fashion fans are in a frenzy over the loose fitting, F&F striped trouser and sleeveless top combo. Made out of woven, crepe fabric, the black and white number includes elasticated, floaty bottoms. And the matching vest has cute bow details on the sides. Tesco staff say: "This is the perfect outfit for this lush weather we're having or for holidays." The top is priced at £12.50 while the trousers are £16. Only available in store at the moment, shoppers have been dashing in to in grab the gorgeous set. One said: "Stunning, I love this. Another Tesco fan commented: "I'll be getting that for holiday." And a third added: "I need this." We told earlier how shoppers were racing to snap up a £19.50 'chuck on' summer dress that is "gorgeous on" and comes in three colours. perfect for weddings and comes in on-trend, classy colour. How has Tesco's F&F upped its game By Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices. But recently those prices have risen with the brand's popularity. However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn't drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead. F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands. They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame. F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 - and you can get them while you pick up your dinner. I for one love F&F denim, it's durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes. So even if you're not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco.

Myntra, Bonkers, Freakins soar as ZARA, H&M stumble: How India's Gen Z flipped the retail playbook

India's Gen Z Just Flipped the Retail Playbook For years, retail giants built shiny showrooms, launched premium lines, and banked on brand loyalty. But they made one costly assumption: that their customers would never change. In 2024, that mistake became painfully clear. India's Gen Z — all 377 million of them — officially overtook millennials to become the country's largest consumer group. And they didn't just change how we shop. They changed who we shop with. Last year alone, Gen Z influenced ₹3.3 lakh crore ($40-45 billion) in apparel and footwear purchases. But here's the twist: they abandoned the brands built for them. ZARA's growth crashed from 40% to 8% Levi's fell off a cliff — from 54% to just 4% H&M slipped from 40% to 11% Why? Because Gen Z wasn't shopping at malls. They were discovering brands like Freakins and Bonkers Corner on Instagram — serving Y2K crop tops, Korean pants, and oversized streetwear at ₹500-800. Affordable. Edgy. Inclusive. This generation doesn't want a logo. They want self-expression, size inclusivity, and unisex fashion that doesn't lecture them about growing up. Legacy brands offered XS to L at ₹1,500. Gen Z found XS to XXL at half the price — and never looked back. Freakins racked up ₹25 crore in FY23 smashed ₹100 crore Myntra saw the signs and launched FWD — a Gen Z-first platform with ₹500 styles. The result? 100% year-on-year growth and 16 million Gen Z users. Today, one in every three e-lifestyle shoppers is from Gen Z. This isn't just a trend. It's a takeover. Gen Z isn't growing into your brand. Your brand needs to grow into them. So, before you launch your next collection or double down on old assumptions, ask yourself: What part of your customer has already changed — and have you noticed? Because the most expensive mistake in business? Assuming your customers will never change.

I fly to Spain to stock up in Zara - trolls call it 'madness' but I save £124 on one shop & get cash back at the airport But Moira wasn't done spilling secrets. In a follow-up video, she revealed a cheeky hack for scoring free She explained that if a customer complains about staff being rude, the store will often offer a free perfume as compensation. However, she noted that some Why is Zara so popular? Zara was founded in 1975 in Spain, and the first UK store was opened in 1998. It remains as one of the most popular stores on the high street, but why? Rather than producing more quantities of a style, it is said Zara focuses on producing more styles. Some stats suggest Zara releases 24 trend-led collections every year, 500 designs a week and almost 20,000 per year. Other estimates put its production levels at 450 million garments a year. Even if a style sells out very quickly, there are new styles waiting to take up the space. This means more choices and higher chance of getting it right with the consumer. Zara only allows its designs to remain on the shop floor for three to four weeks, and this pushes the consumer to keep visiting the store or website, because if they were just a week late, the clothes of a particular style or trend would be sold out and replaced with a new trend. At the same time, this constant refreshing of the lines and styles carried by its stores also entices customers to visit its shops more frequently.
