Offensive Lineman Duo Avery Morcho and Zaden Krempin Pledge Commitment to Texas A&M Football in Heat of Recruiting Season originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Two offensive tackles from the class of 2026 filled vacant spots in Texas A&M football's No. 2 overall recruiting class on Wednesday, June 25. Advertisement The Texas Longhorns and TCU Horned Frogs couldn't get a firm grasp on the recruits and head coach Mike Elko capitalized on it to land the pair of in-state rising seniors. Texas A&M Aggies head coach Mike Lysaker/Imagn Images Early afternoon on Wednesday, the Aggies received good news that three-star Avery Morcho announced his commitment to Texas A&M. The No. 489 overall recruit, No. 40 offensive tackle, and No. 65 athlete from Texas visited College Station on June 13. Even after seeing TCU's campus on June 19, Elko successfully Morcho in. 'Elko is making a change in College Station and I want to be a part of it,' Morcho said according to On3. 'I feel like going to A&M it's going to be the best chance of developing me as a man and a top ten draft pick!' Two hours later, news broke that four-star offensive tackle Zaden Krempin would also be heading over to Texas A&M. He's ranked the No. 275 overall recruit, No. 19 interior offensive lineman, and No. 34 athlete from Texas. Advertisement "Everything was incredible. The amount of time the coaches spent with me and my parents was awesome," Krempin said according to GigEm247 after his official visit on June 5. " . . . They made a great impression on all of us. I'm excited about possibly becoming an Aggie." One thing in particular that stood out to the young lineman was the calm and collected approach offensive line coach Adam Cushing has. "Sometimes you just need to be taught. I think [Cushing's] a teacher. He's very calm, relaxed, coaching and very confident," Krempin said. ". . . And you can learn a lot from him. He's very smart. I think a lot of the line coaches are nerdy about it and stuff. I am too. But yeah, he's very smart and just easy to learn from." 2026 4-star offensive tackle is '100% committed to Texas A&M'

On Wednesday, Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class landed its 20th and 21st commitments, as four-star tackles Avery Morcho and Zaden Krempin are locked in with the Aggies after developing a strong relationship with O-line coach Adam Cushing, who is now regarded as one of the best assistants in the country and an elite recruiter going back to his time with Northwestern and Duke. Morcho's focus on developing his raw skill set, paired with his elite traits, made Texas A&M the best choice for his NFL future. On the flip side, Zaden Krempin, who has been on the Aggies' radar for quite some time, was not the favorite to land in College Station over Michigan. Texas has led the way, but after his time at Texas A&M and his lasting bond with Cushing, the standout pass protector is a future star in the making, as coach Mike Elko has continued to successfully recruit the DFW area (Dallas, Fort Worth) compared to former head coach Jimbo Fisher's lack of focus in the area. Right after committing, Krempin took to social media to announce that he is "100% committed to Texas A&M" and effectively shut down his recruitment. "I am 100% committed to Texas A&M. Thank you God for guiding me through this entire process. To my family, coaches, teammates, and friends I love you all. The hard work has just begun." This is significant news, knowing that Krempin is already on his way to becoming the program's next starting left tackle, and will enter the O-line depth chart with plenty of room to develop once Cushing chooses his future position. According to Rivals, Krempin is currently positioned as the 181st-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 20th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 26th-ranked prospect in Texas. Zaden Krempin to LSU The Tigers made a splash with four-star OT Zaden Krempin during the first official visit weekend of the summer and closed the gap significantly with the Longhorns at the top of this recruitment. Emanuel Tucker to Ole Miss Hours after officially visiting Ole Miss, four-star in-state OT Emanuel Tucker reopened his recruitment. Tucker heads to LSU this weekend and is still in line to see Mississippi State on June 20, but this will boil down to the Rebels and Tigers for the Rivals250 OL. My prediction is sitting on Ole Miss, which moved the needle in a big way with the touted OL and his family in Oxford last weekend. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OLE MISS FANS AT 3. Michigan football targets 4-star Texas OL Zaden Krempin in 2026 recruiting push

Michigan football might only have five commitments in the 2026 class thus far, but it's working hard on the recruiting trail. With a bevy of official visits slated to begin at the end of this month, the upcoming class is about to start heating up. The Wolverines got two commitments late last month in four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney. With the series of visitors set to arrive in Ann Arbor every weekend starting May 30, the question is: who's next? Michigan makes top group for coveted offensive lineman The Wolverines already have one offensive line commitment in 2026 in lifelong Alabama fan Bear McWhorter, the three-star interior offensive lineman, spurning the Crimson Tide for the maize and blue. But Michigan has been hot and heavy after another IOL. Advertisement 2026 Prosper (Tx.) four-star Zaden Krempin has long had the Wolverines at or near the top, and now it's official: Michigan football is in his top four, released on Friday. With Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU involved, it'll be tough sledding for the maize and blue to lure Krempin out of his footprint. SMU was thought to be a factor, but it appears as if the Mustangs are eliminated. Ratings and scouting report Krempin is a four-star across the board with Rivals being the highest on him at No. 176 overall. The On3 Industry Ranking has him listed as the No. 222 player, the 18th-best offensive lineman, and the 31st-ranked player in the state of Texas. Advertisement A track and field star as well, Krempin competes in both the shot put and the discus. He is slated to officially visit as last, on June 20, after he's seen his other finalists.
