Genting confirms brawl at SkyAvenue mall
A viral video of the brawl shows two groups of men attacking and hurling metal signs at each other. PETALING JAYA : Resorts World Genting has confirmed that a brawl involving several men took place at its SkyAvenue shopping mall in Genting Highlands yesterday. The resort operator said it has lodged a police report over the incident and urged the public against speculating on it. 'We take this incident seriously and are giving our full cooperation to the police and the authorities in their investigation,' it said in a statement. A video of the brawl has been making the rounds online, showing two groups of men attacking and hurling metal signs at each other. Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar confirmed the incident and said investigations were ongoing.

Runaway bus causes pillar to collapse at Genting Highlands
The bus crashed into a road divider and a roof pillar, which collapsed and crushed a taxi parked nearby. PETALING JAYA : No injuries were reported in an accident involving a bus and a taxi in Genting Highlands today. Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said a preliminary investigation found that a parked bus began to move before crashing into a road divider and a roof pillar. The case is being investigated under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act for careless and inconsiderate driving.

Cops probing video alleging sexual harassment by Genting balloon vendor
The three-minute video showed a man catching his breath outside a building in Genting Highlands, recalling an encounter with an older man purportedly giving out balloons to strangers. PETALING JAYA : Police are investigating a video showing a man alleging sexual harassment by a balloon vendor in Genting Highlands, Bentong, Pahang. Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said in a statement that no official report was filed on the incident. He urged the owner of the TikTok account on which the video was posted to come forward and assist in investigations. 'Initial checks on the TikTok account's content revealed that the individual may have been involved in several other similar incidents at different locations, where attempts of criminal acts were made against him,' he said. Zaiham urged those who had experienced similar incidents to contact the police and file a report. Trio nabbed after fight in Genting Highlands casino
Screenshots from a 42-second video clip of the incident which went viral on social media. PETALING JAYA : Two men and a woman were arrested last Thursday after a fight broke out at the Genting Highlands casino, said police. Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said the dispute arose after the three foreigners apparently failed to secure a hotel room at the resort despite paying RM1,500. He said the trio, aged between 32 and 49 years old, would be remanded until today. Zaiham said the case is being investigated for affray and trespass under Section 160 and Section 448 of the Penal Code respectively. The trio are also being probed for overstaying in the country under Section 15(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63. A 42-second video clip of the incident went viral on social media recently.
