Lottie Tomlinson poses with brother Louis and new girlfriend Zara McDermott
Glastonbury 2025 got underway this week and plenty of famous faces have already been seen out and about at Worthy Farm – including Louis Tomlinson and his new girlfriend Zara McDermott Lottie Tomlinson has shared some sweet pics with her brother Louis and girlfriend Zara McDermott at Glastonbury this weekend. The mum-of-two took to her Instagram page to post a collection of snaps as she enjoyed the festival. She went to the event with her partner Lewis Burton but also bumped into her musician brother and his new girlfriend in the fields. One of the photos showed Lottie wearing a simple white tank top along with baggy jeans as she snuggled up to her partner and Louis posed behind. Louis can be seen wearing a black vest top along with a cap and sunglasses in a bid to keep his identity a secret over the weekend. Another photo shows that Lottie is clearly getting along with her brother's new girlfriend as she shared a snap posing with the former Love Island star. Zara also went for a dressed down look as she wore blue denim shorts along with a striped blue T-shirt, a cap and high top Converse trainers. Glastonbury 2025 kicked off this week, with plenty of famous musician from around the world descending on Worthy Farm to show off their talent. Music fans as well as celebs have also gone to the event to see their favourite acts. This comes after it was revealed that Louis has unveiled his own unique camping arrangement – a tent solely for booze. The former One Direction star, 33, is camping with a group of mates at Glastonbury rather than going a more luxurious approach. The singing star, who brought a TV to the festival to watch England play an International match last year, has allocated a tent just for drinks. A source told The Mirror: "Louis is determined to make it a weekend to remember and has planned everything with military like precision - including making sure enough booze is available. He has his own tent - and one just for the drinks." Meanwhile, 28-year-old Zara is joining her boyfriend at the festival but won't be camping with him. It's thought that instead she is staying off site. "Everyone is saying it's a nice break for him and Zara but it's a great way also for Zara to meet his mates. It will definitely be a boozy one and not a particularly romantic one," the source added. Zara and Louis first struck up romance rumours earlier this year as they were photographed on a date in Suffolk in March. This came just a few weeks after Zara's split from her long-term boyfriend Sam Thompson. Louis and Zara then enjoyed a trip together in Los Angeles, with Zara finally unveiling her romance on Instagram as the pair enjoyed a brunch date together. Since then, it appears their romance has continued to blossom as Zara was recently seen supporting Louis in Costa Rica.

In a perfect storm for Starmer, next week may see the birth of a Left-wing Corbynista party
For some, this coming week sees an alignment of the stars. For others, it's a perfect storm. Not only is the Government facing division and humiliation over two key crunch votes – the first on its already defenestrated welfare proposals and the other on the proscription of Palestine Action – but it's widely reported that a new Left-wing party, led by none other than Labour's former leader, Jeremy Corbyn, is set to launch. Early polling suggests the new party could enjoy the support of ten per cent of the electorate, damaging both Labour and the Greens. It's hardly a mould-breaking moment, but any high-profile Left alternative is the last thing our beleaguered prime minister needs right now. Despite Labour's 170-seat majority secured a year ago, the party still feels bruised over the loss of four formerly 'safe' seats to independent pro-Gaza candidates, plus, of course, the loss of Islington North after Corbyn himself was prevented from standing as a Labour candidate and went on to win as an independent. And it's likely that the new party will be keen to woo a handful of whipless Labour MPs who have yet to be welcomed back into the fold after they rebelled over the two-child benefit threshold last July. Starmer suspended seven of his MPs over their refusal to support the continuation of the threshold originally introduced by the Conservatives. Since then, four have been restored to the party's embrace while three – former shadow chancellor John McDonnell, Apsana Begum and Zarah Sultana – remain suspended with no indication that the whip will be restored to them this side of the next general election. That being the case, none of them would have anything to lose by hitching their star to Corbyn's new vehicle. Following a truly disastrous week for the prime minister, the next seven days might actually eclipse it. After months in which he insisted the welfare reforms, aimed at cutting benefit costs by a modest £5 billion, would not be watered down, Starmer did exactly that on Thursday evening as a concession to more than 100 Labour MPs who had threatened to vote against them. Hot on the heels of the government's humiliating reversal over the Winter Heating Allowance and the prime minister's unprompted admission in a newspaper interview that he 'deeply regrets' using the phrase 'Island of strangers' in his recent anti-immigration speech (a speech that is primarily known for the phrase he now disavows), it is little wonder that speculation as to how long he can remain at Number 10 has been re-energised. Even after promises to maintain Personal Independence Payments (PIP) for existing claimants, whips still expect there to be a rebellion of at least a dozen Labour MPs, and maybe more, unhappy with the principle that welfare should ever be reduced. And the debate and vote on the categorisation of the Palestine Action group that damaged RAF planes at Brize Norton last week will reveal the extent of discontent with the Government's unexpectedly robust approach to direct action. It will be fascinating to see if that unhappiness extends beyond the usual suspects in the Socialist Campaign Group of Labour MPs. And as the parliamentary drama unfolds, the latest addition to the plethora of Britain's smaller parties will be announced. The first-past-the-post electoral system does not treat newcomers to the political arena well; in fact Corbyn's new party will likely do little more than further split the Labour vote, making Reform UK's advance easier. Next week ends with the first anniversary of the 2024 general election. But there is little for Labour to celebrate and Keir Starmer might be advised to leave his party hat locked inside his red box.

H&M profit beats expectations as brand reboot starts to bear fruit
Swedish fashion retailer H&M reported slightly stronger second-quarter profit on Thursday, an encouraging sign as CEO Daniel Erver tries to attract more shoppers with trendier clothes. H&M shares were up 4% by 1000 GMT as investors focused on the profit rather than second-quarter sales, which fell slightly more than predicted. Erver has said his focus is on profitability rather than solely sales growth. The world's second-largest listed fashion retailer also said it expected sales in June, measured in local currencies, to rise 3%, an improvement after a 6% fall in the same period a year ago. "Our collections are more current, they are more on trend, more fashionable, and the customer reception has been strong throughout this quarter," Erver said in a press conference. Erver said gingham and check patterned dresses, blouses and skirts have been especially popular this season, with the trend continuing into the autumn. Accessories sales have picked up, with social media also driving a craze for mini-accessories on bags, sneakers, and cellphones, he said. In the U.S., where H&M has around 500 stores, Erver said consumer sentiment has dropped significantly due to the "turbulent" tariffs situation since President Donald Trump hiked duties on imports, and competitors have started raising prices as a result. H&M, which sources its products primarily from China and Bangladesh, is focused on keeping prices competitive, Erver said, as consumers are particularly price-sensitive given uncertainty around the economy in the U.S. and globally. H&M's sales were 56.7 billion Swedish crowns ($5.99 billion) in the March to May quarter, down from 59.6 billion a year ago. Analysts polled by LSEG had forecast revenue of 57.0 billion crowns. Zara owner Inditex earlier this month also reported disappointing sales, in a sign consumers are pulling back from spending on clothes as U.S. tariffs create risks for global economic growth. H&M's second-quarter operating profit was 5.91 billion crowns, beating analysts' forecast of 5.88 billion, and the operating profit margin was 10.4%, down from 11.9% a year ago but still better than analysts had feared. "The slightly better than expected margin delivery sends a positive signal to the market," said Alphavalue analyst Jie Zhang. "The brand upgrading strategy has started to pay off." H&M said its higher-priced brand COS had done especially well and shoppers are opting for more medium- and high-priced items across the board, helping to boost profitability. But Erver flagged more discounting in the June to August quarter as he said summer markdowns across the market were highly competitive. Even as it reduces store numbers globally, H&M is also searching for growth in new markets with a growing middle class, with plans to open its first stores in Brazil in the second half, as well as in El Salvador and Venezuela, and to launch in Paraguay next year.

Louis Tomlinson's bizarre Glastonbury camping plans complete with 'booze tent'
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been spotted at Glastonbury every year for the past decade. Louis Tomlinson's odd camping set-up for Glastonbury comes complete with a tent solely for booze. The former One Direction star, 33, is camping with a group of mates this weekend instead of staying at a posh hotel. The singer brought his own TV to the festival to watch England play an International match last year, and he now has allocated a tent just for drinks. A source told The Mirror: 'Louis is determined to make it a weekend to remember and has planned everything with military like precision - including making sure enough booze is available. He has his own tent - and one just for the drinks.' Meanwhile girlfriend Zara McDermott, 28, is joining Louis at the famed festival, but is thought to be staying off site and not camping with Louis. 'Everyone is saying it's a nice break for him and Zara but it's a great way also for Zara to meet his mates. It will definitely be a boozy one and not a particularly romantic one,' the source added. The couple were rumoured to have got together earlier this year as they were photographed on a cosy date in Suffolk in March, just a few weeks after Zara's split from her long-term boyfriend Sam Thompson. Louis and Zara then enjoyed a cosy trip together in Los Angeles, with Zara finally unveiling her romance on Instagram as the pair enjoyed a brunch date together. Since then, it appears their romance has continued to blossom as Zara was recently seen supporting Louis in Costa Rica. But there may be some tension between Sam and Louis, as the pair had an awkward encounter at Soccer Aid earlier this month. Despite their seemingly amicable encounter before the match, Sam appeared less than thrilled during an interview. Fans have been eager to observe how they would react to one another since the news of Zara and Louis' romance emerged. As they mingled, Sam's behaviour hinted at underlying tension between the love rivals. During an interview with the Daily Mail, cameras captured Louis continuing with the training session over Sam's shoulder, prompting Sam to remark: "You're going over my shoulder. I'm over here." Appearing to sound slightly irritated, Sam continued: "Stop going over there, what are you doing. I'm over here. It's fine, okay, cool, well you're just going to get my voice and the lads training." A body language expert observed that the pair's efforts to avoid eye contact only drew more attention to the situation. Judi James told Mail Online that Sam's actions made him appear as though he was trying to be seen as "anything but a loser in love" while playing alongside his ex's new partner. Zara McDermott swipes at ‘frustrating' Sam Thompson split and reveals ‘real relationship' after moving on with Louis
The 28-year-old, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2018, now believes she has found her calling in life NEW START Zara McDermott swipes at 'frustrating' Sam Thompson split and reveals 'real relationship' after moving on with Louis THIS time last year Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson were the golden couple of social media - making thousands off their relationship dynamic online. But fast forward to today and the pair are no longer speaking - let alone making videos together and now for the first time, Zara has opened up on their "frustrating" break up. 10 Zara McDermott has opened up on her split from Sam Thompson Credit: Instagram 10 Sam and Zara's new man Louis Tomlinson came face to face at Soccer Aid earlier this month Credit: Getty 10 Sam and Zara confirmed their split at the start of this year after five year together Credit: Instagram 10 Zara and Louis pictured during a loved-up holiday in Costa Rica last month Credit: BackGrid The pair called time on their five-year romance just after Christmas and not long afterwards The Sun revealed the Love Island star, 28, was dating One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, 33. And in a pointed dig, Zara has insisted social media is no longer important to her as she stressed how focused she now is on "real" relationships - which will no doubt come as a blow for Insta star Sam, who was left blindsided by her new and very public romance. The one-time couple built a whole brand around their social media presence and commanded huge fees to appear in unique and witty online ads together. I'm A Celebrity winner Sam and One Direction singer Louis came face to face earlier this month when they both appeared at Soccer Aid - propelling scrutiny about Zara's personal life to an all time high. Addressing their awkward pitchside head-to-head, Zara insists: 'The only thing in my life that's worth writing about is the work I do. 'I see some of the things that are written and I'm like, 'Why do we focus on the non-existent drama?' Sometimes that can be frustrating, but I suppose it's all part of the industry.' Zara shot to fame on Love Island in 2018, but her career seven years on is a world away from that carefree coupling-up contest in a Mallorcan villa. She has turned her hand to delivering important documentaries - and has already covered topics such as revenge porn, rape culture and eating disorders. Surprisingly, it's meant Zara no longer feels connected to social media in the same way - and despite making thousands from being an ambassador for the likes of L'Oreal Paris and Sure, she says she no longer 'cares'. She banked £4,438 per week last year at Zara Nicole McDermott Limited, the private firm into which she channels her earnings. Louis Tomlinson squeezes Zara McDermott's bum as they kiss on romantic holiday in Costa Rica 'I spend my day job going out and filming with really vulnerable people. And it's shaped me so much as a person that it's made me not sweat the small stuff any more, ' she explains. 'I don't care about social media as much as I used to, or about the aesthetic or the image. I value so much real relationships and real support around me, and being that to other people. 'I'm a totally different person to the one I was when I was 21 years old and stepped into what appeared to be a glitzy world of showbiz. My day to day life is not at all glitz and glamour.' There comes a point where you have to move on Zara on Love Island It's hard to imagine when you look at her incredibly glossy Instagram page - filled with aesthetically pleasing bikini shots and gorgeous cooking videos. But peppered amongst them, Zara posts about her documentaries, which boyfriend Louis has gushed about being so 'proud' of. 10 Zara is now a successful documentary film maker Credit: Instagram 10 She has said she no longer cares so much about social media Credit: zara_mcdermott/Instagram 10 Louis has said how proud he is of Zara and her work Credit: Splash Now, Zara is raising awareness of the horrifying facts about stalking in Britain - and the lack of justice for the victims. The star - who's also filmed a documentary about Thailand's sex industry that should air this year - feels she's found her niche, learning about film-making and creating programmes tackling crucial issues, rather than trading on her time in a bikini by a sun-drenched pool. 'I'm a completely different person' Zara, who worked in the Department for Education as a policy adviser before signing up for Love Island, explains: 'I'm a completely different person to the one that I was when I was 20 or 21 years old. "I've grown and changed beyond recognition - for the good, for sure. I've become so much more aware of issues and what really goes on in the world. Now I'm exploring some very deep, dark, traumatic topics. 'It was an amazing experience, Love Island. It was great fun. But I was only in for 10 days, can you believe it? It was literally blink and you'd miss me. I don't necessarily think I was born to be in front of the camera. 'People might have misconceptions about me, think that because I went on Love Island and because of the social media work that I do, that I love being in front of the camera. I don't think I'm a natural - that's why I only lasted 10 days on Love Island. Because I barely said a word, I was so scared and petrified! 'I was always quite a shy, nervous teenager and young person. So that was a real step out of my comfort zone. And I still think every day that being in front of the camera is a step out of my comfort zone.' 10 The stunning star has moved on from her Love Island days Credit: Getty 10 Zara appeared on the reality dating show in 2018 Credit: Rex 'Born to listen and tell stories' And she now believes she has found her calling in life - and she's ready to put Love Island, which saw her couple up with Lothario Adam Collard, firmly behind her. 'There comes a point where you have to move on. I'm still a massive fan of the show, I still love it,' she explains. ' But when I came out of Love Island it was always so important for me that I do something positive with it, and something that can really make a difference in society. 'I think I was born to listen and help people tell stories. It's an absolute honour and a privilege. But I think if you'd told my 14-year-old self that I would be a presenter, I would have said, 'No way!' While there will be times when former Strictly star Zara may feel like her every move is being watched and scrutinised, in her new two-part documentary series, she's focusing on the stories of women who spend every day in fear of exactly that - terrified of the next text message they'll get and too scared to go out, because they're being stalked. Zara spent months working with the courageous women prepared to share their shocking stories on screen. 'I always knew how much risk the contributors are putting themselves at by going in front of the camera,' she explains. 'Their bravery, I think, was one of the things that astounded me throughout this process. And their vulnerability. "One thing I learned about stalking is that it's a crime that doesn't discriminate. Any age, any gender, any ethnicity, any background. It doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, anyone can be a victim of stalking.' Just dance Zara admits that competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023 pushed her to the limit. 'My dad has always taught me: 'If you think you can't do something and you say you're not going to do it, then you won't,'' shares Zara. 'There'll be moments where every bone in your body will be telling you: 'Do not do this.' It's crazy [on Strictly] - the nerves, like you're going to pass out, throw up… All the things that you feel before you go out on a Saturday night show and dance when you're not a dancer! 'But there's something so character-building about pushing through that experience and that feeling of: 'I'm going to pass out because I'm so nervous and so petrified.' But that feeling when you do it… It definitely builds your resilience and it built my confidence a lot in front of the camera.' The facts around stalking make horrifying reading. One in five young people in the UK have experienced stalking or harassment, yet only six per cent of reports lead to a charge and less than two per cent end in a conviction. 'You can see why victims are scared to speak out and are scared to go to the police,' admits Zara, 'because those figures are shockingly low.' Three quarters of stalkers are the ex-partner of victims, but some people are stalked by total strangers. Zara meets women in both situations and heads out with police attempting to arrest a suspect. And she says the relationships she builds don't end when the cameras stop rolling. 'I can't ever just walk away from the end of that project and think: 'I'm done,'' she reveals. 'That relationship to me is so sacred. I think about every single contributor that I've ever been with for my documentaries every day. "Something will remind me of them, because I don't take any moment with them for granted. They have been so brave and shared their stories. I can't ever forget that or let that go, it's so special to me.' Zara says she hasn't been stalked, but feels a huge empathy for people who have been victims. 'I've never been through something like this, so I'll never be able to fully understand. But I hope that this documentary gives people the ability to understand, or try to understand, in the way that I have,' she explains. 'I think one of the most incredible things about my job is that I learn every single day. It's about just being there for them and being able to give them a voice, and being next to them and holding their hands. 'I end up absorbing a lot of that emotion, for sure. And I feel a lot of sadness for them, a lot of guilt that they have to go through this horrendous experience and that sense of injustice.' And for now it seems Zara really has found her niche, making skits online with her boyfriend is very much a thing of the past and with the support of Louis behind her, there are no limits to her possibilities and potential.
