Dwayne Johnson's daughter Ava reveals NXT representatives for Evolution 2 battle royal
Image via WWE Dwayne Johnson 's daughter, Ava, announced six representatives from WWE NXT for the Evolution 2 Battle Royal. Ava, who is also the General Manager of the brand, announced it during the recent episode of NXT. The winner of the scheduled segment will earn a championship match at the Clash in Paris event. Evolution 2 has been scheduled for July 13, 2025, while Clash in Paris will go live on August 31. How many NXT wrestlers will participate in Evolution 2 Battle Royal? Six NXT wrestlers will have a chance to prove themselves at Evolution 2. General Manager Ava took the podium during Tuesday's NXT episode to announce the names of these representatives. While making the announcement, Ava stated, 'I am so proud that NXT is going to be all over evolution. Zaria and Sol Ruca have the opportunity to become the Women's Tag Team Champions. Jordynne Grace will take on Jacy Jane for her NXT Women's Championship. And six women will represent us at Battle Royal, with a chance to move on to the Clash in Paris for a title opportunity.' Nearly 1,000 media to cover 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in KL
KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly 1,000 local and international media personnel are gearing up to cover the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and Related Meetings next week. The event will take place from July 8 to 11 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). International Media Centre (IMC) coordinator Zaria Mohd Nasri confirmed that Bernama, as the official media and IMC coordinator, has completed preparations for the media workspace and secretariat. 'Alhamdulillah, all preparations, particularly for the media secretariat, have been completed,' she said. The media workspace will feature high-speed internet and ample plug points for journalists. A dedicated help desk has also been set up to assist with inquiries. Media representatives can collect their accreditation passes starting today at 4pm. Zaria added that the secretariat has provided online platforms for media access to event photos and ASEAN news at and A walkabout was conducted today for official media to coordinate coverage, with additional sessions planned for domestic and international journalists tomorrow. Embassy representatives will also attend a briefing in the afternoon. The meetings will include 24 sessions at the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' level, with participation from Dialogue Partners and ASEAN Sectoral Dialogue partners. Around 1,500 delegates, including foreign ministers from ASEAN member states and Timor-Leste, are expected to attend. Malaysia will also host the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Conference on Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD IV), co-chaired by Japan, focusing on Gaza's reconstruction. Other major highlights include Luca Criscifino punching his way out of the D'Angelo Family, Izzi Dam and Tatum Paxley taking out the best tag team in all of NXT and others. Let's have a look at the complete results and major highlights of the event. TNA's Joe Hendry vs. Wes Lee WWE NXT 7/1 kicked off with a clash between Joe Hendry and Wes Lee . Both wrestlers landed strikes on each other. Lee, towards the end, was assisted by the other High Ryze members, Tyreik Igwe and Tyson Dupont. However, Mike Santana appeared out of nowhere to pull both men out of the ring. This allowed Hendry to land the standing ovation on Lee. After the win, both Santana and Hendry eyed Trick Williams, who holds the TNA World Championship. Trick will now defend the title against both Santana and Hendry at TNA Slammiversary. Result : Joe Hendry defeated Wes Lee Myles Borne vs Lexis King Lexis King left no stone unturned to mock Myles Borne. During the match, the Brash King even taunted Borne's guests for the evening. Result : Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley won the match No. 1 Contender Match—Yoshiki Inamura vs. Jasper Troy Yoshiki Inamura faced the winner of LFG Season one Jasper Troy. Both wrestlers displayed their strength and skills throughout the match. However, Yoshiki managed to overcome the attacks from Troy. Towards the end, Yoshiki hit a huge powerslam and nailed his signature diving slam at Troy. Result : Yoshiki secured the win and became the new challenger for the NXT Championship. He will be facing Oba Femi at the Great American Bash. The event will take place at Atlanta on July 12, 2025. Social media influencer found dead after disturbing Facebook Live, ‘I need help'
Zaria Khadejah Carr, a 27-year-old social media influencer, was found dead at her home in Twin City, Georgia. She had 35,000 followers on Facebook. Hours before her death, she went live on Facebook asking for help. The social media influencer was known as Duchess Dior. During the live video, her husband, Shamarcus Carr, 29, was seen arguing with her and holding a knife. He also made strange comments, saying 'the devil' was stopping him from sharing a message. Later, when police tried to arrest him, Shamarcus took his own life. Police are still investigating the case. The official cause of Zaria's death has not been confirmed. Just three hours before her body was found, Zaria posted a worrying message on Facebook under the name Duchess Dior. 'I really don't know what to do. But, I need help before I lose my life or freedom! My kids need me!' International Business Times quoted her as saying. The post shocked her followers, who quickly asked others to call emergency services. Shamarcus, known as 'The Frenchman' on Facebook, often shared videos about his French bulldog breeding business. His wife, Zaria, was also seen in many of his posts. Zaria's death is now under investigation, along with Shamarcus's. Some online viewers say parts of a heated argument between the couple were seen on a livestream. In it, Zaria reportedly accused him of not helping at home but spending on other women. At one point, he was seen with a knife though Zaria appeared to laugh and downplay the threat. So far, police and investigators haven't shared how Zaria died. A post-mortem report is awaited. When police reached her home, Zaria's car was missing. Shamarcus was also gone. Later that night, police found the car about 80 miles away in Wayne County. When officers tried to stop the car, Shamarcus shot himself. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.
