Zscaler's Platform Keeps Growing: Is Zero Trust Everywhere the Key?
Zscaler ZS is expanding its Zero Trust Exchange with Zero Trust Everywhere. This strategy highlights Zscaler's ability to take Zero Trust security beyond users to include Zero Trust for Cloud workloads and Zero Trust for the third quarter of fiscal 2025, Zscaler reported more than 210 Zero Trust Everywhere enterprises. This represents a sequential growth of 60%. Moreover, 59% of Zero Trust Branch buyers were new logo customers, showing strong early demand. Zscaler aims to exceed 390 customers by the end of fiscal 2026. To support this growth, Zscaler launched Unified Appliance for Branch in the third quarter. The solution simplifies branch infrastructure and eliminates the need for SD-WAN, Firewall, NAC, and legacy solution is gaining significant traction. During the third quarter, Zscaler revealed a seven-figure annual contract value deal in which an existing financial services customer adopted Cloud workload protection to secure all of their internal workload traffic. Zscaler is also focusing on enhancing Zero Trust Everywhere capabilities with new product launches. At the Zenith Live 2025 event, Zscaler launched Zero Trust Gateway for Cloud Workloads. It is a cloud-native service on Amazon Web Services ('AWS') that secures workload communications in under 10 minutes without deploying agents or virtual machines. It also introduced Zscaler Microsegmentation for Cloud Workloads. This extends Zscaler's Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven segmentation to cloud workloads with its newly introduced host-based microsegmentation service. The solution aims to provide granular host and process-level segmentation policies using Zsacler's AI-powered segmentation engine for workloads in public clouds, such as AWS and Microsoft adoption sustains this pace, Zero Trust Everywhere could become a foundational layer in Zscaler's next phase of platform-led growth. Zscaler appears well-positioned to turn Zero Trust Everywhere into a long-term driver of enterprise growth. Palo Alto Networks PANW and SentinelOne S are also evolving their platforms to meet enterprise security Alto Networks is doubling down on its platformization strategy. In the third quarter of fiscal 2025, PANW closed more than 90 net new platform deals. Moreover, the number of customers platformized on Cortex was up nearly three times, reflecting strong momentum with Palo Alto Networks' Extended Security Intelligence and Automation Management or XSIAM security operation comparatively a small competitor, SentinelOne posted year-over-year growth of 24% in its annual recurring revenues. The growth was fueled by the rising adoption of SentinelOne's AI-first Singularity platform and Purple AI. Is CyberArk's AI Focus Enough to Sustain Its ARR Growth Momentum?
CyberArk Software CYBR reported solid first-quarter fiscal 2025 results with Annual Recurring Revenues (ARR) of $1.22 billion, up from $1.17 billion as reported in the last quarter. The company posted a net new ARR of $46 million in the first quarter, driven by the sustained growth of subscriptions and increased adoption of its identity security ARR alone is now more than $1.03 billion and accounts for nearly 85% of total ARR, which the company added $51 million in net new subscription ARR. This shift to a recurring revenue model gives the company more financial stability and is known for protecting human and machine identities. Now, it's moving into artificial intelligence (AI) with its new 'Secure AI Agent' product. This tool is designed to protect both autonomous and human-controlled AI more companies begin using AI tools, keeping these systems secure becomes important. CyberArk is trying to solve this problem early, which could help it stay ahead of the competition. During the first-quarter earnings call, CyberArk revealed that machine identity products featured in nine of the 10 largest deals in the quarter, reaffirming its ability to protect non-human sustained focus on enhancing portfolio strength is driving customer wins. New customer wins during the first quarter included a multi-six-figure ARR deal with a U.S.-based software company that replaced a competitive PAM vendor, and a large healthcare provider extended coverage across workforce, cloud, and machine aims for full-year fiscal 2025 ARR to land at $1.41 to $1.42 billion for approximately 21% year-over-year growth. The company seems to be well-positioned to maintain momentum in the long term, driven by a robust subscription base, new customer additions and the adoption of its AI-enabled enterprise-grade platform. Competitors like Zscaler ZS and SentinelOne S are also gaining ground through platform expansion and artificial intelligence (AI) innovation. Zscaler ended its third quarter of fiscal 2025 with $2.9 billion in ARR, reflecting 23% year-over-year growth. Zscaler Nears $3B ARR Goal: Can It Maintain the Momentum Through FY25?
Zscaler ZS ended third-quarter fiscal 2025 with $2.9 billion in annual recurring revenues (ARR), representing the third consecutive quarter of 23% year-over-year growth. Red Canary Acquisition, AI Innovations Propel Zscaler's Growth Story: Analyst
Needham analyst Mike Cikos maintained a Buy rating on Zscaler (NASDAQ:ZS) and raised the price forecast from $310 to $350. On June 3, Cikos attended Zscaler's annual Zenith event, the company's flagship gathering for customers and partners. In an analyst note, he said that the company unveiled several new capabilities, primarily focused on AI and the expansion of its Zero Trust Everywhere initiative. These enhancements aim to bolster data security and thwart cyberattacks, directly addressing critical challenges businesses face when adopting AI, such as protecting proprietary information and ensuring regulatory stated that he sees Zenith as Zscaler's initial presentation of management's expansive vision for a reimagined Agentic SOC (Security Operations Center) powered by AI innovations supporting their Data Fabric for Security. Concurrently, the acquisition of Red Canary is expected to accelerate this vision by adding domain experts capable of engaging with customer SOC teams, a slightly different client persona, the analyst noted. Additionally, the analyst pointed out that Red Canary is anticipated to empower Zscaler's partners to serve clients better while advancing the Threat Management vision by more effectively utilizing security signals for investigations. The analyst believes that Zscaler is capable of maintaining its high level of execution as new sales hires increase their productivity and attrition rates decline. Cikos mentioned that in the third quarter of FY25, Zero Trust Everywhere customers grew over 60% sequentially to more than 210, targeting over 390 by the end of FY26. The company sees a 6x up/cross-sell opportunity in existing customers, and Cikos views newer products like Branch and AI Analytics as underappreciated.
