I Tested Zudio Makeup Products Under ₹200, And Some Of Them Are Actually Worth The Purchase
Hey everyone! Sanika here—from the video team at BuzzFeed India. As a video producer, I'm always on the lookout for cool things to share and maybe find something cool for myself too! Lately, Zudio has been everywhere with their super affordable clothes, which has made it very popular among budget shoppers. They've also launched Zudio Beauty, which has a wide range of affordable makeup and skincare. From lipsticks to lip oils and colorful eyeliners, looking at it my first thought was: Can cheap makeup actually be any good? First things first, let's talk about money. Zudio clearly understands a budget, because almost everything I picked up was under ₹200. I even found kajal pencils for just ₹69! If you're trying to save a buck, you're going to love these prices. Now, let's get into it: 1. Glow Up face mist: ₹150 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ This face mist smells exactly like Mirinda! It's fun and refreshing, but it works more as a quick pick-me-up than anything that has serious skin benefits. 2. Glow Up skin tint: ₹200 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Sanika Dewade This skin tint blends easily, and really gives you that 'effortless' look. But it did feel a little too matte on my skin—so, if you like a matte finish, it's pretty decent for the price. It claims to have SPF 50 too, which is good, but it's best to accept that with a pinch of salt. After all, how protective can a skin tint be in this price range? Another catch with this product: they have very few shades, so finding the right one might be a challenege. 3. Cheeky Flush cheek and lip tint: ₹199 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Sanika Dewade Honestly, this was my favorite! The packaging is super cute. It blends like a dream and looks really natural on the skin. This lip and cheek tint comes only in two shades, so it's a little limited. But for a tint that works on both the cheeks and lips, this is a definite win on the price! 4. Kajal (black and brown): ₹69 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Sanika Dewade At ₹69, I was worried about the quality of this product. But the black one was surprisingly good, and applied quite smoothly. The brown one, however, wasn't quite as good as it kept chipping away—super scary for a sec! In conclusion, for that price, the black is worth it. 5. Glam Glide Eyeshadow stick: ₹200 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐½ Sanika Dewade This eyeshadow crayon feels smooth when you apply it, but honestly, I could barely see the color. It's super subtle. I got mine in the color Champagne, and there are several more colors in this range. If you want a light, barely-there shimmer, it works, but don't expect a lot from it. 6. Liquid Eyeliner: ₹100 Rating: ⭐⭐ The color is vibrant, and it comes in many interesting shades, which I liked. But it's just too watery—you have to keep building on it to get the full effect. It's fine for ₹100, if you don't mind layering. 7. Hi-Shine Gloss: ₹150 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This gloss has one of those chocolate wax-type smells, which is nice. It also has a big wand, which helps with application. It also comes in various shades! But my main complaint: they seal it with a super sticky glue that gets all over the bottle and messes up the product. If you can deal with that sticky mess, the gloss itself is pretty good. So, is Zudio Beauty makeup worth buying? When it comes to affordability, Zudio absolutely nails it. You really can't beat these prices. They also have an impressive shade range for a lot of their products (except for the skin tint). For quality and how long it lasts, it's a mix. Overall, Zudio's makeup is a great option if you're looking to try new things without spending a lot, or just need some everyday basics that are super affordable. Here's my final verdict:

Nuvama downgrades Trent to 'Hold' on slower growth outlook; slashes target
Nuvama on Trent: Domestic brokerage firm Nuvama has downgraded Trent to 'Hold', flagging concerns around a slowdown in its core fashion business and a mismatch between current growth trends and the stock's steep valuation. The downgrade comes after Trent 's AGM, where the company indicated that its fashion segment is expected to grow about 20 per cent in Q1FY26E, considerably lower than its five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 35 per cent over FY20-25. While the management reiterated its long-term ambition of achieving 25 per cent-plus growth over the next few years, Nuvama noted, 'The current run rate falls short of it,' prompting the brokerage to revise its FY26E/27E revenue estimates lower by 5–6 per cent and Ebitda projections by 9–12 per cent. Despite the near-term disappointment, management maintained an optimistic tone on the company's long-term prospects. At the AGM, it reaffirmed its vision to scale revenue 10x, noting that revenue has already doubled since this goal was set in FY23. This growth, according to the company, will be driven by robust expansion plans, including the addition of around 250 stores across formats in FY26. Nuvama acknowledged this ambition, saying, 'We remain confident of management beating this given the execution track record,' but added that this will take time to reflect meaningfully in financials. The brokerage also pointed to the potential of newer verticals like Zudio Beauty and Star Bazaar as future growth drivers. On Star Bazaar, Nuvama highlighted the management's bullish stance, which included commentary that it could eventually become a bigger business than Westside and Zudio, given the size of the food retail market. Besides, the company clarified there are no plans to merge Star Bazaar with Big Basket, positioning them differently in terms of product mix and pricing. However, near-term headwinds remain the core concern. Nuvama noted, 'Underwhelming near-term growth prompts the downgrade to 'Hold' as the current valuation is too demanding.' The revised target price stood at ₹5,884, down from the earlier ₹6,627. While a major pickup in Zudio Beauty or the Star business could serve as upside risks to its view, the brokerage believes these ventures need to stabilise before they can be scaled sustainably.
