I'm 5ft3 & a size 12/14 – my 7 Tesco dresses are an absolute bargain & perfect for a last-minute wedding guest outfit

A FASHION fan has revealed the seven finds from Tesco that are perfect for a last-minute wedding guest outfit. So if you've got someone's special day coming up round the corner and have no clue what to wear, fear not, you've come to the right place. 8 8 8 Christina Mitsi, a content creator from the UK, shared her candid thoughts on seven outfits from F&F, which are not only affordable but incredibly flattering too. The 5ft3 fashionista is a size 12/14 and posted her haul on social media with the caption 'If you're after budget wedding guest dresses then F&F Clothing at Tesco have a lovely selection at the moment and all under £36!' As part of her recent wedding guest dress series, Christina gave her followers a close-up look at the new-in supermarket buys, as she said: 'Wedding guest dresses from Tesco - yes, Florence and Fred have a lovely selection this year. 'None of these are above £36 - absolute bargain.' To kick off her haul, she modelled a blue and white floral frock, as she beamed: 'First of all, we've got this lovely blue one with the flowers. I thought the shape of this, the neckline in particular, is lovely. 'I love the puff sleeves, I think it's really nice and stretchy at the back.' Next up, Christina tried on a black and white maxi dress, as she explained: 'This one as well is a size 14 and I think this is perfect for me - the back is absolutely gorgeous. 'The length as well is actually really good, I'm only 5ft 3in so this will be a little bit shorter if you average size, but I love this one. 'It's black and cream but I still think it's wedding appropriate - and a lovely neckline there, not showing too much, lovely.' Following on from this, Christina was left beaming with a long-sleeve floral dress, as she continued: 'Look at this - perfect for twirling. I'm a size 14 and did the best Tesco summer haul - run before new co-ord sells out 'I know it's black, but because there's so much pink and green in it, it is like a really nice colour. The ruffles make it ever so fancy and nice. 'This is one of the £36 ones, the rest were a lot cheaper as well, some even in the sale. 'Lovely one this one. The length is really good on me.' She then modelled a 'gorgeous' sleeveless top and a maxi skirt, as she shared: 'So this is a skirt and the top separately - beautiful. "I think together in the same colour, it would be gorgeous. I really, really liked this.' And that wasn't all, as Christina then tried on a floaty mini dress, as she acknowledged: 'This one was lovely, I love how floaty this is, look at the arms. 8 8 8 'It makes you feel ever so floaty and feminine and nice, and I love that it's a little bit longer at the front than the back. 'Something a little bit different and really nice and comfortable to wear.' The bargain hunter then shared her honest thoughts on a tiered dress, which will set shoppers back £36. 'To be honest it was a bit hard to get into it first because it has a tight dress underneath it. Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. 'It does give a lovely figure, everything's sort of sucked in and in place and nice. 'The colour I think is just a little bit ageing for me and doesn't really go with my skin tone, but it's still a lovely shape dress and I think this would suit a lot of people,' she reflected. And finally, Christina looked gorgeous in the viral satin polka dot frock, as she concluded: 'Finally - I know what you're all gonna say, you can't wear white to a wedding, but I couldn't resist getting this one as well. 'As a lovely polka dot dress, I think this is gorgeous.' 8 8 Fashion fans beam The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ christinatmitsi, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 239,700 views in just 24 hours. Not only this, but it's also amassed 3,695 likes, 276 comments and 367 saves. One person said: 'I like the polka dot one and the blue first one. You are an amazing model for us shorter girls, it gives a true reflection of what flatters our shape and size. 'Nice not to see a tall skinny girl modelling the clothes, that's no good to us.' Another added: 'Christina these are some of the nicest dresses you have tried on. Number one is my favourite.' A third commented: 'They all looked lovely on you. My favourite on you was the pinky coloured dress.' Meanwhile, someone else beamed: 'These are really pretty and you really suit them.' Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club Hottest fashion trends of 2025 Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street. The East/West Bag Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s' shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber. In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder. They've been on runway models' arms at nearly ever designer show - think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta - and are hitting the high street now, too. Powder pink Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025. Pantone may say that it's the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own. If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour. The shell jacket The '80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025. We all know we're likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket. Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in '80s windbreakers'. Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion! The turn-up jeans While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we're styling them is different. This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups. For this look, size doesn't matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good - but only as it's just one single fold. Peep-toe shoe Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event. After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style. From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street. Sheer blouses See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life - until now. Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S '25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season. Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks.

Primark is also currently overflowing with an incredible selection of super-affordable loungewear that's perfect for those chill-out evenings. Forget splashing out a fortune - you can now update your cosy collection without breaking the bank. The word is out, thanks to eagle-eyed Primark employee Beth Clare, who took to TikTok to reveal some "absolute bargain" new arrivals in her store. Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor AS someone who's no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too. For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those 'I have nothing to wear' moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect. Quince Has So Many Vacation-ready Styles Under $50 for Summer—Here, the 15 Best Finds on Linen and More

Quince has mastered the art of crafting wardrobe essentials that are both high-quality and affordable, so naturally it's become my go-to destination ahead of summer travels—especially thanks to its specially curated Vacation Shop. Luckily, the site is bursting with pieces practically made for my upcoming weekend on Cape Cod, and since I've been balling on a budget lately, I challenged myself to put together a list of the items I've been coveting under $50. If you're drawn to loose silhouettes, breathable fabrics, and impeccable construction in your summer wardrobe (and let's face it, who isn't?), keep reading to find the 15 best Quince picks you'll want to snag for all your upcoming adventures. I've found breezy maxi dresses, linen pants, skirts, and more starting at just $20, and everything is so versatile you'll never run out of ways to mix and match your new outfits throughout the season. Related: TK I practically live in maxi dresses during the summer, and this gauzy high-neck option is exactly what my closet has been lacking to stave off the heat wave in style. The simple silhouette of this dress will be easy to dress up or down by simply switching out my footwear and other accessories, and it's a breeze to throw on for a day of sightseeing to look put-together without too much effort. The lightweight organic cotton fabric will stay cool on even the warmest days, and yes, it has pockets. No matter the season, I travel with a lightweight layer in my personal item, and the Quince 100 percent Organic Cotton Cropped Cardigan is my favorite pick for the warmer months. Large faux tortoise shell buttons down the front make it stand out from the many other cardigans in my collection, and its slightly boxy fit looks great when worn open or buttoned to the top. It even comes in six neutral shades, all of which would be easy to style with whatever is in my suitcase. I've long struggled to find a comfortable pair of shorts that I actually reach for, but these breezy linen ones may be the answer—and they're just $30. The stretchy elastic waistband and convenient pull-on design makes them well-suited for beach and pool days when worn over a bathing suit, but they're also the perfect length to dress up with heels and a cute blouse, making them a versatile addition to my collection. I'm currently eyeing them in the white color, but they also come in three other shades, including bright red and simple black. A basic camisole is one of the most underrated wardrobe essentials for summer travel since it's versatile, classy, and lightweight in the heat. I've been on the hunt for some new tops to wear when going out to dinner, and this simple black tank instantly caught my eye since it'll be just as stylish with a black mini skirt as a simple pair of jeans. It's made from a luxurious blend of silk and spandex for some stretch and give, and its adjustable straps won't be at risk of sliding off my shoulders throughout the day. The fabric will keep me cool in the summer heat, and the dark color won't easily reveal sweat. I may even be tempted to snag it in more than one of the six available colors. Wide-leg pants are my go-to style year-round, so during the summer I like to trade in my baggy jeans for a similar silhouette in a linen material, and this $40 pair from Quince is about to become my new favorite. Made of 100 percent linen, these pants will be breathable and lightweight through the thick of the summer heat, while the adjustable drawstring elastic waistband should sit comfortably during a long flight without digging into my skin. I'm petite, so I was thrilled to see there were three different inseam options. I'm grabbing a basic black or white pair to start off, but I'm admittedly intrigued by the full eight-color range. I've been searching high and low for a classy beach cover-up for months, and after laying eyes on this knit dress, I know I've found it. The crochet design of this long-sleeve mini will be easy to pack, and I love that the semi-sheer knit shows just a peek of bathing suit while still providing nice coverage. The pull-on design is convenient and fuss-free, and I especially adore the bell-sleeve detailing and high-quality cotton construction. The real question is which of the three shades I should buy? A well-rounded collection of basics is essential for traveling in the summer since those pieces tend to be easy to mix and match without taking up too much suitcase space. Quince's Cropped Square-neck Ribbed Knit Tank checks all my boxes at $35, with thicker straps and a flattering cropped fit made of a stretchy recycled nylon blend. The timeless color selection means it can be paired with anything from a patterned mini skirt to a pair of bold flowy pants, and it's just as easily styled dressed down as up. On the days I don't feel like wearing a maxi dress during the summer, there's a good chance I'll reach for a maxi skirt instead—and the thigh-high slit on this linen pick ensures it'll keep me cool and comfortable despite the longer length. This skirt is designed with pockets and a stretchy elastic waistband (two of my favorite features), and it's made with 100 percent linen fabric that's breathable, casual, and timeless. Since I'm working to move my neutrals collection away from just black and white, it's the deep navy shade I'm adding to my cart for only $40. Linen is the unofficial fabric of the summer, and in my efforts to expand my shirt collection for the warmer months, I picked up the 100 percent European Linen Strapless Top to wear with my favorite wide-leg pants, skirts, and more. This effortlessly cool top is so light that you'll never run the risk of overheating due to bulky fabric, and the hem falls right at my hips, striking the perfect balance on my petite frame. Elastic at the top of the shirt keeps it firmly in place without slipping off throughout the day, and it comes in white, black, and striped (although it's worth noting that the shirt isn't lined, so the lighter colors may be see-through). I'll be going to Cape Cod and the Hamptons this summer, and the Italian Cami One-piece Swimsuit is exactly what I've been looking for to feel confident at the beach. I don't always love a cheeky fit, so I'm drawn to the more full-coverage bottom this bathing suit provides, but it also shows a tasteful amount of skin up top. The stretchy, flattering fabric is made with UPF 50 sun protection, and I can't get enough of its bold cherry red color and $50 price point. Made from a light and stretchy recycled polyester blend, this flouncy midi dress is the perfect piece to have on hand during my travels since it can be styled in so many different ways. The material is quick-drying and moisture-wicking so I won't have to worry about sweating through it after sitting for a long time (admittedly my greatest fear during the summer), and it's fitted with two pockets that are deep enough to hold my in-flight snacks. If you're looking for something to throw on in a pinch that immediately looks put-together, this fit and flare dress is just that—and it's only $50. A lightweight button-down is an unbeatable layer for beach days, city vacations, and more, and at $45, this 100 percent organic cotton option is a high-quality pick that won't break the bank. I prefer my button-downs in black or white since they pair with more pieces in my wardrobe, but this top is also available in seven other shades if you're looking for a pop of color. Sizes ranging from XS to XL ensure you can find the ideal fit whether you like your tops oversized or more snug, plus the super-soft material will be a comfort against your skin during long travel days this summer. While I'm restocking on wardrobe basics this summer, I know I can't go wrong with a traditional scoop neck tank, and the $20 price tag on this organic cotton pick makes it especially appealing. The neckline shows just the right amount of skin without feeling too revealing, plus it's made with a ribbed material that's stretchy and breathable. I'm drawn to the deep navy shade since it's less likely to reveal sweat, but it also comes in a simple heather grey shade that'll surely become another suitcase must-have. Bermuda shorts are back in style this summer, and while I'm not totally sold on the trend yet, this $40 pair from Quince is the perfect way to test out the look without breaking the bank. Made with a blend of organic cotton and spandex for a touch of stretch, the longline cut of the shorts makes them less likely to cause inner-thigh chafing during walking tours and beyond, and the mid-rise waistband shouldn't dig into my skin. They can be paired with kitten heels, sneakers, or simple sandals so I'll never run out of ways to style them, and they've even received an impressive 4.7-star average rating on the site. I've always been enchanted by beachy crochet purses, so when I saw this roomy shoulder bag at Quince for only $50, it's safe to say I fell in love. Channeling the carefree vibes I aim to capture with my summer style, this spacious bag is my dream pick for vacationing and wandering around New York City in my day to day, and it's thoughtfully made with several zippered pockets, a magnetic closure, and a packable design. It'll hold my everyday essentials with ease while instantly taking even the simplest outfits to the next level, and I won't have to worry about its knit straps causing irritation on my shoulder. My instinct is to snag it in the natural brown color, but its black and sea blue iterations are equally as appealing. Love a great deal? Plus it also comes in a stunning buttermilk yellow, perfect for summer days at the beach. Is supermarket fashion the new high street? DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in: The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family. Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year. Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
