Trump says would bomb Iran again 'without question' if it keeps enriching uranium
U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday he would "absolutely" bomb Iran again if intelligence indicated the country was still able to enrich uranium to nuclear weapons-grade. Asked in a White House press conference whether he would consider fresh air strikes if last week's sorties were not successful in ending Iran's nuclear ambitions, he said: "Without question. Israel Carries Out Intense Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon, 1 Dead
Israel's air force carried out intense airstrikes on mountains overlooking a southern Lebanon city on Friday in an attack that the Israeli military said targeted Hezbollah underground assets. The airstrikes came in two waves on the mountains overlooking Nabatiyeh and bunker buster bombs were used, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported. There was no immediate information about casualties. Since the 14-month Israel-Hezbollah war ended with a US-brokered ceasefire in November, Israel has carried out almost daily airstrikes on southern Lebanon. Friday's strikes were more intense than usual. The Israeli military said in a statement that its fighter jets struck a site used by Hezbollah to manage its fire and defense array in the area and is part of a significant underground project that was completely taken out of use. The Israeli army said it identified rehabilitation attempts by Hezbollah beforehand and struck infrastructure sites in the area. There was no comment from Hezbollah. An Israeli drone also targeted on Friday an apartment in a two-story building in Nabatiyeh. Lebanon's health ministry said a woman was killed and 11 other people were wounded in the strike. "The Israeli enemy strike on an apartment in Nabatiyeh led to a preliminary toll of one woman killed and 11 people wounded," the ministry said in a statement carried by the official National News Agency.

President Donald Trump's quick declaration a week ago that U.S. airstrikes had totally obliterated Iran's nuclear program might have been a typically Trumpian, made-for-the-cameras declaration of victory — but it now appears to have been at best premature. Worse than his getting ahead of the facts, though, is how the president reacted as initial assessments of them emerged. When news reports revealed that a preliminary Defense Intelligence Agency assessment contradicted some of his claims, the president's response made this another week in which Trump politicized intelligence-gathering.

Lebanon's Health Ministry: 14 wounded in Israeli strike on apartment in Nabatieh
The number of people wounded in the Israeli army's strike on an apartment in Nabatieh has risen to 14, according to a statement from the Health Ministry. The ministry said that in a preliminary overall toll of Friday's airstrikes—which began with a series of attacks on valleys and hills in southern Lebanon and continued with the targeting of the apartment in Nabatieh—one woman was kille,d and 21 others were wounded.
