Himanta flags off ‘Bodoland Speaks' initiative

on Sunday inaugurated 'Bodoland Speaks: From Vision to Action', a significant initiative of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) under the Bodoland Happiness Mission.

The event was held at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
The CM also launched several key publications and resources, including the 'BTR Communication Bridge'— a practical resource featuring 1001 words and sentences in 18 languages spoken across the region. Other launches included 'Transforming Bodoland - a journey of change in BTR', 'Looking Within: My Reflections' authored by chief executive member (CEM) of BTC, Pramod Boro, and the annual report of the Bodoland Happiness Mission (2024–25).
Sarma conferred the Bodoland Lifetime Achievers Award upon 18 personalities who have made contributions to the enrichment of folk cultures in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). He highlighted the importance of the Bodoland Happiness Mission, stating that it is an excellent effort to strengthen the peace and stability that the people of BTR have achieved over the last five years.
