In letter to Major General al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades expresses pride in Yemen's heroic stance in support of Gaza Sana'a - Saba: Chief of the General Staff Major General Abdulkarim al-Ghamari on Saturday received a letter from the Chief of Staff of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, in response to the letter Major General al-Ghamari sent to Mujahideen of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The letter stated: We have received your generous letter, filled with sincere brotherhood, chivalry, and blessed Arab and Yemeni generosity, which came on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. What makes your words so impactful and appreciated is that they are accompanied by great practical stances and the unique jihadi heroism of our sincere brothers in Yemen, a land of wisdom and faith. Dear brother and friend, through you, we send our sincere greetings and appreciation to Mujahid leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the Yemeni Armed Forces, and our great brotherly Yemeni people from your Mujahidin brothers on the land of resistance in Gaza. Gaza is the crown of Mujahidin and the frontier of Islam advancing against the infidel Nazi Zionism. We extend to you and your brothers, on behalf of every Mujahid who carries his soul in his hand, and every steadfast defender of his homeland, waiting to fight his enemy, and on behalf of every individual among our patient, afflicted, and proud people, our sincere congratulations on these blessed days and in this sacred month of Allah. We thank Allah that we have reached Eid al-Adha while we and you are in the best of positions beloved by Allah and His Messenger: positions of jihad and fighting in His cause, martyrdom, and sacrifice of blood, soul, wealth, and all that we possess for the sake of the Night Journey of our noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and our Holy Land. We remain steadfast in our covenant, Allah willing, that neither those who have let us down nor those who have afflicted us will harm us until Allah's promise comes to pass, by His permission. What fills us with pride is your great heroic stance, which will be recorded in history and passed down through the generations in letters of light on the pages of glory and pride. From before and after history, God will not let your struggle, faith and sacrifices go to waste, especially when you stood tall like mountains in the face of the forces of injustice and tyranny. You paid a heavy price, befitting great men like you, for supporting your brothers in Gaza in word and deed. You were the most prominent arena in the nation in terms of progress in fighting, confrontation, military support, million-man demonstrations, and a resounding, blessed voice in all arenas of support and dignity. You truly embodied the words of God Almighty: "And those who believed and emigrated and strove in the cause of God and those who gave shelter and aided - those are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision." May God grant us and you righteous deeds, acts of obedience, jihad, sacrifices, and acts of devotion. We ask God to elevate the ranks of our martyrs and yours, grant healing to the wounded, freedom to the prisoners, and victory to our nation and people. Until we meet again in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, liberated and purified, God willing. "And that Day the believers will rejoice in the victory of God. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Ex Exalted in Might, the Merciful." And may you have a happy new year. May God's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. Top Houthi military commander survives 'Israeli' assassination attempt: Hebrew media
Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, the Iran-aligned Houthi's Chief of General Staff, survived an 'Israeli' assassination attempt but sustained serious injuries, the 'Israeli' Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan News) reported. The 'Israeli' air force reportedly launched a targeted strike Saturday night on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, aiming to kill al-Ghamari, a top-ranking military official in the Houthi leadership. While Hebrew Channel 12 confirmed the airstrike was intended to eliminate al-Ghamari, it stopped short of providing full details on the operation's outcome. However, Kan said later the Houthi official was injured but survived. Meanwhile, Axios cited an 'Israeli' official who described the operation as part of broader efforts to counter Iranian influence in the region, noting that al-Ghamari was considered the Houthis' highest-ranking military commander. Who is Mohammed al-Ghamari? Al-Ghamari serves as the Chief of General Staff for Houthi forces and is regarded as one of the group's most senior and influential military leaders. He joined the movement in 2013 and has led operations on key fronts, including Saada and Hodeidah.

Israel targets Houthi Chief in Yemen strike
Shafaq News/ The Israeli Air Force has launched a series of strikes on Houthi-controlled ports in Yemen, targeting what it claims are launch sites for attacks against the country, Israeli media reported on Sunday. Israel attempted to assassinate Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Houthi forces, in a strike inside Yemeni territory. It remains unclear whether al-Ghamari was hit or who else was present at the time of the attack. The operation followed an earlier evacuation order issued by the Israeli military for the ports of Ras Issa, Hodeidah, and As-Salif. Military spokesperson Avichay Adraee labeled the sites 'active threats,' urging individuals to vacate the areas without delay. — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) May 11, 2025 Details regarding the scale or impact of the strikes have not yet been disclosed. The Houthis are yet to comment on the incident. The warning came as Houthis launched on Friday a missile and drone barrage, which targeted Ben Gurion Airport and a strategic location in Yaffa. That attack followed earlier Israeli air raids on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which hit strategic infrastructure including the international airport, power grids, and industrial complexes. Houthis have maintained a campaign of missile and drone attacks against Israel, which the group claims are in response to Israel's ongoing war in Gaza that killed over 61,709 civilians and injured more than 111,588.

Al-Ghamari to al-Qassam Brigades: Yemen, its people, army, leadership, will remain present on battlefield with Palestine
Sana'a - Saba: Chief of the General Staff Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari on Monday extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the heroic fighters of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. In a message addressed to Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Major General al-Ghamari said, "In these blessed days of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, and with the advent of Eid al-Adha, the Yemeni Armed Forces, command and soldiers, are pleased to extend to you, our highest congratulations and blessings, coupled with pride and appreciation for your legendary steadfastness and the immortal heroism you have demonstrated on the battlefields of confrontation with the usurping Zionist enemy." He pointed out that the qualitative operations, painful strikes, and steadfast positions of faith carried out by al-Qassam Brigades are a source of admiration and inspiration for all free people. This is irrefutable proof that whoever relies on Allah and stands firm on the battlefield will achieve victory, even if the forces of the earth unite against him. The Chief of General Staff addressed al-Qassam Brigades, saying, "We join hands with you and assure you that Yemen—its people, army, and leadership—will remain present on the battlefield alongside Palestine, with heart, arms, stance, and prayers, until the promise is fulfilled and the land is returned to its people." He pointed out that Gaza, which has become a symbol of pride, will not be broken as long as there are those like al-Qassam in this nation—men who have been true to their pledge to Allah and who believe that jihad is a duty and that victory comes Allah God to His sincere, oppressed servants. Major General al-Ghamari renewed his pledge to al-Qassam Brigades on the Day of Sacrifice, saying, "The path of jihad is our path, the enemy's fate is defeat, Palestine is in the heart of Sana'a, and al-Quds is in our faith, our methods, and our compass."
