Al-Quds Brigades targets dozens of IOF soldiers, casualties reported
An al-Quds Brigades field commander announced on Wednesday a military operation carried out against dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers and a convoy of armed vehicles east of the al-Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza. The operation began with the detonation of a field of landmines targeting infiltrating Israeli vehicles, forcing soldiers and officers to retreat in panic into nearby residential homes. The commander reported that Resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces inside the houses with a guided missile, followed by a TBG anti-fortification projectile. 'We ambushed the targeted forces and engaged in very close combat using light and medium weapons,' the commander said, confirming that the crew of the armored units, officers, and soldiers were either eliminated or wounded during the operation. Israeli media acknowledged the killing of a soldier from the Egoz unit in Gaza, while four other soldiers were critically injured. According to the latest official figures released by the Israeli military, the number of officers and soldiers killed since the resumption of the war on Gaza in March has risen to 30, bringing the total confirmed military death toll since the start of the ground invasion in Gaza to 438. However, Palestinian sources and independent observers consistently stress that the real number is significantly higher, citing "Israel's" policy of censorship and information blackout aimed at maintaining the morale of its troops and settlers. Yesterday, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters successfully ambushed an Israeli infantry unit in eastern Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing and injuring several Israeli troops. According to a statement, Resistance fighters had booby-trapped a house where Israeli occupation forces had taken shelter. The house was rigged with anti-personnel and anti-fortification explosives, which were detonated once the troops were inside. In a separate operation, al-Quds Brigades confirmed the destruction of an Israeli D9 military-grade bulldozer using a high-powered barrel-shaped explosive device in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis. Additionally, in a joint operation with Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, Resistance fighters destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank by detonating a powerful side charge known as a "Thaqeb" device in the same area. 'Israel' reports casualties as resistance grows in Gaza, Khan Younis
Israeli media confirmed two security incidents in Khan Younis and Gaza's al-Shujaiya neighborhood, reporting intense close-quarters combat along multiple battlefronts in recent hours. Both incidents resulted in military casualties, with wounded soldiers evacuated by military helicopters to Tel Hashomer, Beilinson, Soroka, and Ichilov hospitals, according to Israeli media. Meanwhile, the Israeli army acknowledged a soldier was wounded in ongoing confrontations in northern Gaza, while Israeli Channel 12 reported that three soldiers were injured in Khan Younis battles after an explosive device detonated near a military vehicle. Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed a helicopter landing east of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood intersection, apparently to evacuate occupation army casualties, adding that the helicopters fired during extraction while warplanes breached the sound barrier to provide air cover. These developments come as Palestinian Resistance factions continue to inflict heavy losses on the Israeli army through ambushes and top-tier operations. The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced it had destroyed an Israeli army vehicle in Sheikh Nasser, east of Khan Younis, using a pre-planted bomb. The brigades also shelled enemy troop groupings on Al-Sourani Hill, east of Gaza City's al-Tuffah neighborhood, with mortar rounds. On its part, Hamas' military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, reported that its fighters returned from engagement lines after carrying out three top-tier operations, east of Gaza City's al-Zaytoun neighborhood. These included destroying a military excavator with a high-powered explosive on July 9, 2024, a Merkava tank on July 6, and two D9 military bulldozers on July 2 of the same month. The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades released footage showing their mortar units shelling gatherings of occupation soldiers and vehicles with heavy-caliber rounds, along with intercepting a surveillance drone conducting intelligence operations over Khan Younis.

Al-Qassam targets IOF troops, vehicles in top-tier op. in Khan Younis
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced Saturday the execution of a top-tier operation against Israeli occupation forces in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. According to details released by the Brigades, the operation took place on Friday morning near the Directorate of Education in the al-Mahatta area, in central Khan Younis. Resistance fighters stormed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles, the statement added. As part of the operation, al-Qassam fighters targeted two Merkava tanks using two Shawaz explosive devices, resulting in its crew members being either killed or injured. In addition to the tanks, the Resistance fighters also struck an armored personnel carrier with a Yassin 105 shell. When Israeli rescue forces arrived at the scene, they were attacked with light and medium machine gun fire, the Brigades pointed out. During the operation, al-Qassam fighters observed the landing of helicopters conducting an evacuation that lasted several hours. The Brigades also reported a second operation on Friday, in which its fighters targeted another Israeli armored personnel carrier using a Yassin 105 shell on al-Bi'ah Street in central Khan Younis.
