Family picnic and talk at Ivungu River Conservancy this Sunday
The Ivungu River Conservancy invites families to a picnic and talk this Sunday (6th).
Bring your picnic, chairs, blankets and leashed dogs – everyone is welcome.
After lunch, the conservancy will hold its annual meeting, open to anyone interested in listening, contributing or joining.
Following this, conservationist and journalist Judi Davis will give a talk titled: Urban Wildlife – Conflict or Cohabitation?
She will share insights on how to better coexist with wildlife in urban areas.
A wonderful mix of two- and four-legged walkers enjoyed the latest Wednesday Walk and Unwind at the reserve.
The group started the walk earlier than usual at 15:30 due to shorter daylight hours, and the route included the new Figtree Retreat trail.
It ended with a pleasant sundowner at the picnic grounds.
The next Walk and Unwind is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, meeting at the picnic site below the Uvongo tennis courts at 15:30.
Bring your own sundowners. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
