The announcement of the Telugu-dubbed version's release was made by Asian
Suresh
Entertainment. The dubbed version will be hitting the big screen on May 23.
The banner took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the announcement, "What was buried wasn't just the truth - it was unserved justice. @asiansureshent is proud to bring #KesariChapter2 - a powerful story of justice and resilience, to theatres in Telugu on May 23rd!"
The digital promotions for the Telugu version are expected to kick off soon.
About 'Kesari: Chapter 2'
'Kesari: Chapter 2' portrays an impactful and heart-moving chapter of India's freedom struggle, focusing on the courageous legal battle led by advocate Chettur Sankaran Nair, portrayed by Akshay Kumar. The film is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu and Pushpa Palat, and it depicts how Nair challenged the British Crown in court to expose the brutal truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. Alongside Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan plays advocate Neville McKinley, while Ananya Panday appears as Dilreet Gill.

As per as of 26 days, the film has earned approximately Rs 88 crore net in India. It opened strong with Rs 7.75 crore on day one and maintained steady collections in the following weeks, though daily earnings gradually declined over time. The film's occupancy rates hovered around 15% in major Hindi-speaking regions by mid-May.
