Annual Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta canceled
ELEPHANT BUTTE, N.M. (KRQE) – Low levels at Elephant Butte Reservoir have caused officials to cancel the annual balloon regatta. The non-profit organization said it made the decision because of safety concerns for boats and balloons.
Pro-level bike park opens on Picuris Pueblo
They said they are hoping to bring the event back next year and to hope for snow this winter.
