Aldi's £2.99 buy that brightens up your garden flies off the shelf as supermarket manager warns they'll sell out soon
WANT to spruce up your garden without breaking the bank? Look no further than Aldi for a bargain buy you'll love and will add a stunning burst of colour to your outdoor space. 2 2 The potted sunflower plant is just £2.99 - but you'll have to act fast if you want to get your hands on one. This comes after one savvy shopper took to the popular Facebook group Aldi Shoppers UK to show off her find. "I saw loads of people walking into Aldi with one of these in their trolleys. "They looked so sunny and cheerful I just had to get one," she wrote. According to the bargain hunter, as she was walking up and down the aisles multiple people came up to her for a chat, all because of the sunflower. "When I was walking round the shop four or five people came up to me smiling and admiring the plant and had a chat. "I'm sure Aldi didn't intend for the sunflowers to evoke a social morning but that's how it felt," she said. But the happy blooms might not be on shelves for long, as the shopper warned fellow Facebook users. "The manager who served me said they had sold a huge amount and there wouldn't be any left by the end of the day and I'm not surprised," she explained. It turns out other Aldi shoppers also got their hands on the bright blooms too as one wrote: "I picked one up from Aldi today too!" Wake up to a weed-free lawn for months thanks to Aldi's £10 gadget that pulls them out without bending or kneeling down "Fingers crossed and there will still some tomorrow morning! I always think they make you feel bright," a second commented on the post. A third added: "Beautiful and such a bargain, I've bought a plant as well, lots of flower buds on it." "I got two this morning, gorgeous," someone else chimed in. And another had a money-saving suggestion for the Aldi shopper, they said: "Make sure you save some seeds and grow your own next year." HOW TO CARE FOR SUNFLOWERS Sunflowers bloom from summer until autumn, so you can enjoy their cheery colour for weeks to come. Although perennial sunflowers will return year on year, annual types will die after they flower and set seed. You can keep your sunflower in its pot, but if you want to grow them high it's a good idea to move them into the ground. "Sunflower plants are heavy feeders, so make sure you water the pots regularly (daily in hot weather) and feed fortnightly with a nitrogen-rich fertiliser, switching to a high-potash fertiliser, such as a tomato feed, when the plants begin to bloom," the pros at Gardeners World said.

I swear by my secret hack to get beauty buys in Boots for HALF the price – there's skincare, shampoo & razors for less
A SAVVY shopper has shared a secret hack to get beauty buys for less in Boots. So if you're on a budget but need some new skincare, have run out of shampoo, or are desperately searching to stock up on cheap razors, you've come to the right place. 3 3 3 Not only will you find Hyaluronic Acid for less than half the price with this simple trick, but it's also the same for eyebrow dye too. Posting on social media, a bargain hunter named Claire, who is from the UK and often shares money-saving advice online, explained how looking in different aisles in Boots could help you save over half the price on many items. Sharing her hack and advice to ensure shoppers are not fooled by 'pink packaging,' Claire headed to the skincare aisle in Boots, where she found her 'favourite' Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser. The 30ml Boots buy is normally £6, but is currently reduced down to £5.40 for Advantage Card members. Moments later, Claire headed to the men's skincare section, where she found an almost identical product for £2.50 for 50ml. Thrilled with her find, she explained: 'You can get exactly the same product for way cheaper - you're actually getting more product for half the price.' Holding up both products, the Boots shopper added: 'When you compare the ingredients side by side, they are identical - nothing is different apart from the fact that one is in green packaging and one is in pink packaging.' Claire then advised those looking to cut costs: 'When you're shopping for toiletries, it's always worth checking if the men's section has a cheaper alternative, because the pink tax is very real.' The bargain hunter also pointed out that not only can you find skincare on the cheap in the men's section, but you'll even be able to get your hands on cheaper razors and shampoo too. Stunned by the difference in prices, the content creator confirmed: 'Research shows that women are still paying up to 34% more than men for their toiletries.' Bargain hunters left 'gobsmacked' The Instagram clip, which was shared under the username @ the_finance_gurl, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 2.1 million views, 72,900 likes and 1,655 comments. Social media users were shocked by Claire's findings and raced to the comments to share their thoughts. That's infuriating Instagram user One person said: 'I've done this for years and it's so true! Even down to razors!!' Another added: 'Thanks for this! I use this too so I'll be buying the men's from now on. Your tips are so fab.' Where has Boots closed stores? BOOTS has never given a full list of the 300 stores closing. Here's what we know so far about some of the locations where branches that have gone for good. Not only this, but someone else questioned: 'That's infuriating. Why do they overcharge women who statistically earn less?' Meanwhile, one shopper wrote: 'Also cotton buds and cotton wool from the baby section, not the beauty section.' Whilst one Boots shopper penned: 'The same for eyebrow dye. I use beard dye. You get more and it's done in five minutes and lasts longer.'

My favorite Motorola Razr+ (2024) deal just got better in Prime Day's final hours
As a seasoned bargain hunter, I have to tell you: this year's Prime Day deals are truly epic. If you've been following the event as closely as I have, you undoubtedly know there was a huge $300 discount on the Motorola Razr+ (2024) since Day 1. Well, guess what? This deal has just got better! In the final hours of Prime Day, I spotted a massive $400 price cut on last year's Motorola flip phone. For context, the sale spreads across colorways and brings the ~$1,000 smartphone under the $600 mark. Of course, I don't expect it to last too long, so if you're even a little tempted, act fast. $400 off (40%) Amazon Prime Day is nearly over, but the Razr+ (2024) still got even cheaper than it was in the first few days of the event. Right now, Prime members can buy the flip phone for $400 off its original price, which is a solid discount you definitely don't want to miss. Buy at Amazon Good looks matter in a flip phone, but there's one thing I value even more: a sturdy hinge. Fortunately, this model improves on that front—it has a much more durable hinge than the Razr+ (2023), so you can enjoy your flip experience with greater peace of Motorola didn't stop there—it also made the crease much smaller. In fact, it's almost completely gone, which makes interacting with the main display feel smoother. Speaking of which, the handset boasts a 6.9-inch pOLED display with a snappy 165Hz refresh rate and a large 4-inch cover screen. With great brightness levels and vibrant colors, this fella delivers a seriously impressive viewing experience. Another thing I like about the Razr+ (2024) is camera performance. The Android phone features a 50MP main camera and a 50MP 2X zoom, delivering photos with pleasant colors and lots of detail. Make sure you browse the camera samples in the Motorola Razr+ (2024) review to get a better idea of its capabilities. Add to this ultra-affordable (for a limited time) package Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 performance, and you've got a solid flip phone. At 40% off, the Motorola Razr+ (2024) is hard to beat. If you agree with me, now's your chance to save $400 with Prime. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

I bought a £103 sofa from Shein and it arrived in a tiny box but now it's built it looks stunning and so much bigger
WHILE many of us will buy holiday clothes, bags and even shoes from Shein, one woman has revealed that she took a risk and bought herself a brand new sofa. A bargain hunter named Martha spotted a gorgeous two seater sofa on the global e-commerce platform and decided to make an order. 3 3 Eager to share her thoughts on her bargain buy, which cost her just over £100, Martha took to social media to show off her new living room purchase. Posting online, Martha gave her followers a close-up look at the tiny box her sofa arrived in, as she wrote: 'What I ordered VS What I got.' Viewers then saw the content creator reading instructions and putting the sofa together. But before long, her new sofa was built and ready to be used. While the 'comfy' loveseat, which also has two storage pockets, was originally priced at £164.68, Martha managed to nab it for only £103.35, thanks to a 37% off discount. Now, the two seater velvet couch is priced at £123.48, as a result of a 25% off discount. Thrilled with her sofa, Martha furnished the living room buy with two spotted cushions and put it on top of a fluffy white rug. This Shein sofa is available in six different colours - flannel green, flannel grey, flannel blue, linen light green, linen grey and Martha's choice, linen beige. For just £103.35 (or £123.48 if you purchase it now), we think it looks great and is a real bargain. I bought a £315 sofa off Temu and it arrived in two small boxes - but it's HUGE, super sturdy & took minutes to assemble And it's clear that many others do too, as Martha's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ doo_ronald, has quickly racked up 471,200 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 10,600 likes, 19 comments, 1,467 saves and 1,801 shares. What is Shein and is it legit? Shein is an online-only fast-fashion retailer, based out of China, that has become a number one shopping destination for many around the world. The company was valued at $66billion in 2023, dwarfing that of popular high street brands Zara and H&M. The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008, by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu. Shein is a legitimate selling website and is not a phishing scam. But you may receive a disappointing order or run into shipping issues if you order from the site, according to reviews. There have been swathes of quality complaints, which makes sense when looking at the price tag. Social media users loved the sofa and eagerly raced to the comments to express this. One person said: 'It's lush.' Another added: 'This is nice.' To this, Martha wrote back and responded: 'It really is.' And it's not just those on social media that are loving the affordable sofa, as Shein shoppers have eagerly flocked to the website to share their praise for the purse-friendly homeware buy. The sofa has amassed an average rating of 5 out of 5, as one shopper beamed: 'Great quality, fast delivery!' Meanwhile, a second wrote: 'A very beautiful and big sofa, bigger than my expectations.' Whilst someone else simply shared: 'Just what he wanted.'
