Millie Bobby Brown wows in tiny bikini on the beach weeks after hitting back at trolls over red carpet appearance

MILLIE Bobby Brown wowed fans in a skimpy bikini – weeks after hitting back at trolls over her red carpet appearance. The Stranger Things star, 21, looked incredible as she posed on a gorgeous beach with a bright blue sky behind her. 8 8 8 8 Wearing a green and white string bikini, Millie held her hands to her head as she soaked up the sunshine on a white sandy shore. She captioned the snap wit a string of beach-themed emojis. The post quickly racked up 1.3 million likes and over 33,000 comments, with famous pals like Tilly Ramsay showing their support. The sizzling shot comes just weeks after Millie shot down cruel critics after she was mocked online over her appearance at The Electric State premiere in Los Angeles. Some fans accused her of 'looking 40 not 21', with one saying: 'Had to double-check if she turned 21 or 40.' Others cruelly claimed she looked like a 'soccer mum' in her glamorous £8,000 gown and new blonde hair. Comedian Matt Lucas took it a step further by comparing Millie to his Little Britain character Vicky Pollard. He even shared a side-by-side photo and her infamous catchphrase: 'No but yeah but.' Millie didn't take it lying down and fired back on Instagram. She said: 'Disillusioned people can't handle seeing a girl become a woman on her terms, not theirs. Millie Bobby Brown addresses public scrutiny 'I refuse to apologise for growing up… I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself.' She blasted those joining in on the jibes, adding: 'You're amplifying an insult instead of questioning why a grown man is mocking a young woman's appearance.' Millie's emotional video went viral and celebs flooded the comments to praise her. Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker said: 'Enormously proud of you. xxx.' F1 champ Lewis Hamilton wrote: 'So truly proud of you Millie.' Singer Pixie Lott added: 'You are a true class act… always beyond beautiful inside and out.' Matt Lucas later apologised, saying: 'I thought you looked terrific… I realise it upset you and for that, I apologise.' Millie has grown up in front of the cameras since landing her breakout role as Eleven on Stranger Things aged just 10. Now a fully-fledged Hollywood star, she's raking in around £10million for the show's final season – a massive jump from the £8,000 per episode she earned back in season one. Her latest film, The Electric State, dropped on Netflix in March and saw her star opposite Chris Pratt, Woody Harrelson, and Stanley Tucci. She also appeared in the Enola Holmes movies, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and last year's Netflix fantasy flick Damsel. This isn't the first time Millie has clapped back over comments on her looks. After being trolled over her appearance in Enola Holmes, she hit back: 'Women grow!! Not sorry about it!' Fans have previously speculated about cosmetic work – from lip fillers to veneers – but Millie has never confirmed any procedures. As well as shaking up her image, she's also settled down. She secretly married model Jake Bongiovi, 22 – son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi – last year in a low-key ceremony in the US. The pair began dating in 2021, and Jake proposed during a scuba diving trip by hiding the ring inside a shell. Jon Bon Jovi gave the couple his blessing, saying: 'They're going to be great together.' Millie has even expressed interest in playing Britney Spears in a future biopic, saying: 'Her story resonates with me, growing up in the public eye.' 8 8 8 8

'My bridesmaid got engaged on my wedding day - I was absolutely gobsmacked'

A woman who called off her wedding due to a cheating partner was left 'gobsmacked' when her best friend got engaged on what was meant to be her 'big day'. She revealed it had happened in Italy - where the nuptials were due to take place - as some of the would-be guests had decided to fly over anyway due to everything being 'booked and paid for'. While she was pleased for her pal, who had been given a bridesmaid role, she couldn't help that feel the timing was 'insensitive'. READ MORE: Calls for UK Government to issue 'WW3 survival guide' as expert shares list of essential supplies The Mumsnet user shared her feelings on the matter in a post titled 'Bridesmaid got engaged on my wedding day...' The full post read: "I had to cancel my wedding four months ago due to my partner cheating with numerous women. "My wedding should have been Saturday just gone in Italy. Some of the wedding party decided to go ahead with the weekend anyway as it was all booked and paid for (flights, Airbnbs, etc), which I was fine with as they has paid a big expense to attend. "My best friend (and bridesmaid) was one of these guests and she contacted me via Facetime yesterday to tell me her boyfriend proposed on Saturday (which should have been my wedding day) on the beach in Italy. "I was absolutely gobsmacked and replied saying I was pleased for her but I needed time to process the news and ended the call. "I am happy for her but I do feel it's totally insensitive and I'm in total shock. How do I move past this?" Many of the people who replied insisted the pal wasn't to blame. One said: "Was she supposed to turn him down because of the date? Or just not tell you? "I can understand why you'd be a bit sad about it, but she's not really done anything wrong." A second wrote: "Her boyfriend proposed. Should she have said no? "I'm not sure she could have done much if it was a surprise proposal. If you're upset speak to her fiancé." A third chipped in: "So she got engaged on a day that you're not even getting married on anymore? "I thought you were going to say they got down on one knee or something in the middle of the photo taking bit or something. Now THAT would have been a bit more unreasonable." A fourth reply read: "She didn't get engaged on your wedding day. "I'm sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time, but she really hasn't done anything wrong." Offering some advice, another said: "It's better if you stop thinking of it as your wedding day, as it wasn't. "You're better off without him, don't lose friends over him too." A more sympathetic forum user said: "Your friend should have shown more tact in how she told you. "She didn't need to FaceTime you to tell you this news given it was meant to have been your wedding day. "She could have sent you a brief message to update you so you could collect your thoughts and respond when you were ready, there's plenty of people who could have been able to take that call to celebrate the news in that moment and it shouldn't have been you. "I'm sorry for what you've been through. Well done for leaving the cheat before marriage."

Boy's sea rescue captured on live TV report

TV viewers were given a stark reminder of the dangers of the sea when a boy became stranded live on air. BBC journalist Debbie Tubby was reporting from Wells-next-the-Sea when cameras captured the 13-year-old getting cut-off on Friday. People watching Look East were able to look on in real time as the beach-goer was loaded on to a lifeboat. Presenter Susie Fowler-Watt said the incident had a "happy ending" as the boy was brought ashore. It happened shortly after the regional news show started airing at 18:30 BST. The BBC was broadcasting live from the popular beach after 40 people were cut-off by the tide within two hours the previous weekend. Almost three minutes into the report, cameras cut to show the boy sitting on sand while surrounded by water. Watch: BBC Look East "You might be able to see a boy who's actually stuck on the sand bar out several metres away from me," said Tubby, live on air. "The RNLI has been launched to try and get him so hopefully we'll get him back safe and sound." The programme continued with other reports before returning to Tubby about nine minutes later. Footage showed the sand had all-but-disappeared and the boy was being helped by an RNLI crew. Speaking from the studio in Norwich, presenter Fowler-Watt said: "This is what we were talking about earlier, how precarious it can become very quickly. "Luckily, the RNLI has reached the boy and he looks like he's safely on the boat there, so a happy ending in that particular scenario." The boy's mother later told Tubby she was grateful for the help he received, but admitted he should be "slightly embarrassed". Follow Norfolk news on BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram and X. Anker's Upgraded Portable Power Station Hits Its Lowest Price of the Year Ahead of Amazon Prime Day

It's a lovely time of year to be outdoors. The weather is nice, the vibes are on point, and there's no denying the appeal of a good long walk, a day at the beach, or just hanging out in the forest. However, just because you're going back to nature doesn't mean you have to do away with all of the lovely modern conveniences, and that's where a great portable power station comes in. See at Amazon Thanks to a great deal on Amazon right now, you can get your hands on the excellent Anker 521 Portable Power Station for just $160. That's 27% off the normal price of $220, and a fantastic price. It's a limited-time offer though, so don't expect to be around for very long. The Anker 521 Portable Power Station is actually just flat out better than previous models for a lot of reasons, and one of those is the LiFePO4 Battery, which makes for a more reliable option with a better battery life and faster charging. In fact, it has an incredible output of up to 600W, which is more than enough to power a huge number of devices at once. It helps that it also has six ports to choose from, with it having two AC, two USB-A, one USB-C, and a car outlet too. That means you'll never have an issue recharging the majority of devices you might be using. It charges incredibly quickly as well, thanks to a 256Wh capacity, meaning it not only charges a lot, but also does so with haste. It's the kind of power station you can rely on nearly everywhere you might want it. It just makes beach days or camping trips better, and can even be useful at home in the event there's an issue with the power. It's also built-to-last. The LiFeP04 battery means that it can last up to 10 years of use, and does a great job of regulating temperatures, and it's all in a very durable shell as well. This thing isn't going to break without a fairly large effort on your part. Not that you should be trying to break it. There's no doubt that this is a great pickup at the normal price of $220, so being able to get it for just $160 is a chance that shouldn't be missed. Just make sure you're quick if you do want it to avoid missing out on this great discount. See at Amazon
