Here are the toughest golf courses for women in Massachusetts

The toughest golf courses in Massachusetts from women's back tees have an average course rating of 73.9 and an average slope rating of 139.9. The data refers specifically to the women's back tee for each course. Information on the list was obtained through the United States Golf Association's National Course Rating and Slope Database as of March 19, 2025. Additional information was obtained through BBJ research. "Course rating" estimates the difficulty of a golf course for a scratch player. "Slope rating" reflects how much harder a course plays for higher-handicap golfers compared to scratch golfers (those with a handicap of 0), under normal course and weather conditions.
