What happened between Lee Jun Hyuk & Lee Junyoung at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards? Story behind hilarious award mix-up
What was supposed to be a moment of celebration at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards rapidly devolved into an unforgettable and delightfully chaotic scene starring popular actors Lee Junyoung and Lee Jun Hyuk. The surprising mix-up during the Upbit Popularity Award reveal had both the audience and online viewers laughing, and it has since become one of the night's most viral moments. As the winners of the fan-voted popularity awards were being revealed, the camera cut to actor Lee Jun Hyuk. But confusion soon spread across his face, as it appeared he wasn't entirely sure whether his name had actually been called. Jun Hyuk, unsure what to do, paused before slowly making his way to the stage, evidently urged by people surrounding him. Meanwhile, actor Lee Junyoung, best renowned for his successful transition from idol to actor and energetic stage presence, had already arrived, boldly taking the award and smiling. But just as IU was about to take the stage for her own victory, fans witnessed something strange: Lee Jun Hyuk was now heading back down the steps, clearly bewildered, as if realizing the moment wasn't his after all. And then came the twist. The official announcement confirmed that it was indeed Lee Jun Hyuk who had won the award. Realizing the mix-up, a shocked Lee Junyoung quickly descended from the stage, trophy in hand, to deliver it personally to Jun Hyuk - prompting laughter, applause, and no small amount of secondhand embarrassment. The video of the incident went viral online, with netizens calling it one of the most memorable award ceremony gaffes in recent memory. Many appreciated Lee Junyoung's graceful answer and swift reflexes, while others couldn't help but laugh at the overall strangeness of the situation. Later, both stars took to social media to explain the situation and reassure fans. They explained that the uncertainty was caused by a mispronunciation of the name, combined with the fast pace of the event. Far from keeping grudges, the two laughed it off, with fans sharing their words on X (formerly known as Twitter). Lee Junhyuk IG story replied Junyoung's IG story:'Junyoung-ah thanks to you it was fun, don't worry to much. I also made same mistake during AAA. It must be fate. Let's eat together next time 👍🏻' However, there were some who criticized the situation. Fans expressed dissatisfaction with the event's MCs for their pronunciation that casued the issue, while others blamed the production team for enabling such a mix-up to happen in the first place. MC should've be careful when announcing names of the winner. This kind of mistake is dumb and its pretty disrespectful for both of the actors. How did you not even tell him it was NOT his award that he had to check it and give the trophy himself to the other actor? #이준영 Nonetheless, the majority rallied behind the performers, claiming they had nothing to answer for and praising them for handling the issue with maturity and humor. In the end, what should have been an unpleasant gaffe became a strangely endearing reminder that even glamorous award events are subject to good old-fashioned human error - and that a little confusion can lead to the most legendary moments. KOKOON's Wild Ride From Comedy Clubs to K-Pop Stages - This Fusion Show is Breaking All the Rules!
The entertainment world is witnessing the birth of something completely unprecedented! KOKOON isn't just another performance group - they're the pioneers of an entirely new entertainment genre that nobody saw coming. By boldly fusing K-pop's infectious energy with comedy's universal language, they've created something that transcends traditional entertainment boundaries. The Revolutionary Fusion That's Changing Everything What makes KOKOON absolutely groundbreaking is their audacious decision to merge two seemingly incompatible worlds. K-pop, with its polished choreography and global appeal, meets slapstick comedy's raw, unfiltered humor. The result? A completely new form of entertainment that's neither pure K-pop nor traditional comedy - it's something entirely fresh. This isn't just mixing genres; it's creating a new language of entertainment. When KOKOON performs, they're not switching between comedy and music - they're presenting a seamless fusion where comedic timing enhances musical moments, and K-pop energy amplifies comedic impact. It's like watching the birth of a new art form in real-time. Breaking Down Cultural and Linguistic Barriers The genius of KOKOON's approach lies in its universal accessibility. While K-pop often requires cultural context and comedy can be language-dependent, their fusion creates something that speaks to everyone. The slapstick elements transcend language barriers, while familiar K-pop rhythms get global audiences moving regardless of their Korean language skills. This fusion proves that entertainment evolution happens when creators dare to break conventional rules. KOKOON has essentially created a new entertainment DNA - one that combines the visual spectacle of K-pop with the immediate emotional connection of physical comedy. A New Genre is Born What KOKOON has achieved goes beyond simple entertainment - they've birthed an entirely new performance category. This isn't K-pop with comedy elements or comedy with musical interludes. It's a third thing entirely: comedy-pop, or perhaps pop-comedy, that operates by its own rules and creates its own expectations. The international recognition they've received validates this innovation. When global festivals and prestigious publications acknowledge KOKOON, they're not just praising a good show - they're recognizing the emergence of a new entertainment form that could inspire countless imitators worldwide.

There are many stars in Hindi cinema whose real names are different and they have kept some other names to join the industry. Veteran stars like Dilip Kumar, Madhubala and Meena Kumari also changed their names before entering the movies. But when Guru Dutt put a condition of changing the name in front of 16-year-old actress, who boldly refused it, she is now hailed as one of the finest actresses in the history of Indian Cinema. Veteran Actress Waheeda Rehman Here we are talking about renowned actress Waheeda Rehman, who has been in the industry for more than 6 decades and is now hailed as one of the finest actresses in the world of glitz and glamour. Meanwhile, the veteran actress once revealed that the legendary Late Guru Dutt had advised her to change her name to something catchy and unique. When Guru Dutt Advised Waheeda Rehman On Name Change Waheeda Rehman and Guru Dutt are one of the most iconic and best pairings of Indian cinema. Rehman made her debut with Dutt in CID and the two became great co-workers. They worked together in classic films like 'Pyaasa', 'Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam', 'Chaudhvin Ka Chand', 'Kagaz Ke Phool', 'Kala Bazaar' and many more, which made her one of the leading actresses in industry. At the Jaipur Literature Festival, Waheeda recalled how she came to Mumbai from Chennai for CID and was advised to change her name. 'It Was So Rude' The actress revealed how she did not change her name despite pressure to change it. She said, 'When I came to Mumbai from Chennai as a newcomer, I was sixteen years old, Guru Dutt ji called me to sign a contract. My mother also came with me. They said we want to change your name because it is long and not good. When they said they didn't like it, I felt very bad. It was so rude! My mother and father gave me this name – who are you to tell me it's not good?' Waheeda concluded while saying, 'I refused to change it. Waheeda Rehman can appear on screen, and you can call me Waheeda while working. It does not matter whether it is long or not.' She further mentioned that Guru Dutt tried hard to convince her to change her name, but she did not do so. She said, 'He gave examples of Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Meena Kumari and many others. At that time, I was very proud of myself and I calmed down with maturity. I refused him outright because my parents gave me this name and I like it. He said that there is no glamour or sex appeal in this name. I said that whatever you say, I will not change it.'

Burger King going on tour in Japan, visiting areas where no restaurants exist yet
By SoraNews24 Although the fast food market in Japan is large, it can be really tough to crack. Many have tried to cross over from the USA but only a few have reached the status of McDonald's or KFC. Taco Bell arrived amid great fanfare but now seems to be barely hanging on and Wendy's has formed some kind of symbiotic relationship with a Japanese chain to maintain its presence here. Burger King, on the other hand, has shown itself to be a real scrapper when it comes to getting a piece of the Japanese market. For years now, they've been coming up with innovative ideas and creative campaigns to keep people thinking about them. Their efforts have been paying off too, and the number of locations in Japan has nearly quadrupled over the past five years to 281 branches today. There's still room to grow, however, and Burger King is ready to head out on tour to explore strange new prefectures, to seek out new customer bases and new food courts, to boldly go where no Whopper has gone before. Burger King is fueling up their food truck and preparing to kick off King On Tour 2025. Its first stop will be the Sasebo City Sports and Culture Center in Nagasaki Prefecture from 20 to 22 June at the same time the PJF Pickleball Japan Open Sasebo in Japan is held. This is no coincidence as Burger King recently became an official sponsor of the pro pickleball league. ▼ The Burger King tour truck will be tastefully wood-paneled. Those in the area can grab a classic Whopper with Cheese and a can of Coca-Cola or Coca-Cola Zero for 1,000 yen. Also available for a limited time is the Spicy BBQ Whopper and cola, also for 1,000 yen. This burger has the same flame-grilled all-beef patty as the Whopper but is flavored with two sauces: the rich and slightly bitter Bull's-Eye Barbecue Sauce and a Special Spicy Sauce that has the kick of chili peppers, the umami of garlic, and the complexity of the fermented bean chili paste doubanjiang. And of course, it wouldn't be Burger King and pickleball collab event without the new, limited-edition Pickleball Burger consisting of three all-beef patties and 11 pickles served on a rice bun with a cola for 2,000 yen. Bearing in mind that this is a food truck rather than a proper restaurant, quantities will be limited to between 300 and 400 servings. On the other hand, everyone who purchases a burger combo from the truck will receive commemorative stickers including ones with the name of the location and in this case, a Pickleball Japan logo. This is just the start of King On Tour 2025, which will run until the end of the year, and Burger King is currently accepting suggestions on where to take their truck next. Just reply to their dedicated tweet with your requested location and the hashtag #バーガーキングを呼ぼう (#CallBurgerKing) before 9 July and they'll consider it. ▼ This tweet right here The chosen locations will be announced in August, so keep your eyes peeled because even if you didn't call it, the Burger King truck might still be rolling into your area before too long.
