Moment British women are brutally beaten and stamped on by bouncers at 'Mad Boys' restaurant in row over bill at Turkish resort

British tourists were brutally beaten and stamped on by bouncers at 'Mad Boys' restaurant after an argument broke out over the bill. Footage shows the group, including women, being kicked and punched by male employees on a street in Marmaris, Turkey on June 2nd. The shocking video begins with a heated verbal exchange, but the situation soon escalates into a violent brawl. Two of the tourists fall to the ground, where the assault continues, with staff members repeatedly kicking them as they lie on pavement. One employee even leaps out of a window to join in the brawl. A brash young boy from the tourist group is seen squaring up to an employee - punching the air and preparing to defend himself. Bystanders can be heard screaming as the chaos unfolds. Police were called to the scene, but since neither party filed a complaint at the time, the matter was temporarily closed. But, once footage of the fight was posted online, it triggered outrage and public backlash. The video shows five employees assaulting a male tourist while two female tourists attempt to separate them. But, the women get caught in the middle, are battered, and fall to the ground. The footage, which garnered widespread criticism, prompted an investigation. Five members of staff found to be involved in the brawl were detained, and the restaurant was closed indefinitely. Speaking to Turkish newspaper AKŞAM, a manager at Mad Boys restaurant stated that a family of five had caused an argument by not paying the 5,000 TL bill (£92). He claimed that the tourists provoked the staff by insulting Turks and the Turkish flag, and then attacked them. Footage of a female tourist hitting a staff member with her bag was also shared. The Marmaris District Governor's Office issued a statement on the matter, stating: 'It should be known that violence against women is completely unacceptable in Muğla. 'Our state stands firmly against all forms of violence against women. 'Judicial and administrative investigations into the business and its employees are being meticulously conducted, and all developments are being closely monitored.' It comes after a tourist was beaten up by a member of staff at a Turkish beach after he reportedly complained about the price of a sunbed in May. The brawl broke out on May 16 at Damlatas Beach in the Alanya district of Antalya after the tourist, who was described as British by Turkish media, enquired about renting a sun lounger but decided to opt out after finding it too costly. Instead, the tourist is said have dumped his belongings on the sand so he could go for a dip in the sea. An employee told the tourist to take his stuff elsewhere, but events escalated after the tourist refused, which resulted in the the staff member reportedly beating him up in front of other holidaymakers. Footage shows the employee attacking a man, who can be seen falling onto the sand as he is punched and kicked. Onlookers can be seen screaming in horror, while others move away from the brawl. Two men are seen breaking up the fight before the video comes to an end. The clip has since gone viral on social media, prompting backlash from the public. Alanya District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer announced that the business involved had been closed. 'Judicial and administrative procedures regarding the attack on a tourist that occurred in a beach business in Alanya in recent days, which does not reflect our city and our understanding of tourism , have been initiated immediately,' he said. 'Approaches that are contrary to the understanding of hospitality of both our city and our country will not be tolerated in Alanya, one of the cities where tourism first began in Turkey,' the district governor added. Business owner Serhan Koçaroğlu responded to the incident, claiming that the tourist was 'under the influence of alcohol,' adding that he had thrown a sunbed at a Turkish customer. When Koçaroğlu tried to intervene, he said he was attacked by the tourist in question He added that the videos circulating online only showed the aftermath of the incident, saying that the brawl was a reaction to him being beaten. The business owner added that he was sorry for giving Alanya a negative image. 'I did not file a complaint in order not to damage the tourism image of Alanya. However, I would like to inform the public that I reserve all my legal rights due to the unfounded news published in some media outlets,' he said.

Too hot for some! Sunworshippers trade blows in Bournemouth beach brawl as bouncers struggle to contain the violence

Stunned sun-seekers looked on in horror as a mass brawl between a group of topless lads sparked mayhem on one of Britain's busiest beaches. The chaos reportedly erupted on Friday evening on the stretch of coastline next to Bournemouth Pier. Almost a dozen people clashed on the sand as tempers boiled over and the mercury approached a sweltering 30C. Captured by a sunworshipper, the brawling beach-goers were filmed stumbling and swinging wildly at one another as they came to blows. But the fight appeared to turn into a farce as the battling gaggle of men struggled to keep on their feet as they chased around after each other, throwing haymakers. People laughed as one man charged at another male, bumping into him before his opponent wobbles, loses his balance and toppled to the floor. The melee continues, with another man seen stumbling around before then getting shoved unceremoniously to the floor. As he gets up, another is seen to throw a wild hooking-style punch behind him - which fails to connect with anything and sends the man tumbling to the send. Meanwhile, two bouncers are filmed desperately struggling to contain the mayhem. The fight is the latest flashpoint of anti-social carnage to ignite on the beach in recent days. Earlier this week, Dorest Police released CCTV footage of 12 men they were hunting to identify following a beach brawl between topless youths. The incident again took place near the coastal resort's pier, just before 7.30pm on June 30. Footage posted online showed shirtless yobs fighting among themselves and clashing with cops, with some seen hurling objects and attacking them with bottles. Missiles appeared to be thrown at police and glass could be heard smashing on the ground as terrified daytrippers watched on in horror. Five police officers were injured during the chaos, as well as a teenage girl who was taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not serious. A man, 22, from Newbury, Berkshire, who was previously arrested on suspicion of assault by beating of an emergency worker was released on bail as enquiries continue. Another man, 18, from Hackney, east London, was later arrested on suspicion of assault, affray and assault by beating of an emergency worker and remains in custody. The fight sparked a new anti-social behaviour crackdown, which comes into effect this weekend in Bournemouth. It comes as temperatures are set to skyrocket to more than 30C. Anyone who gets a bit too merry on the coastal stretch faces being slapped with fines, and having their alcohol seized. Dorset Police has revealed it is deploying extra patrols around Bournemouth seafront this weekend, as thousands are expected to descend on the sandy beach. Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council and Dorset Police have revealed they plan to use a range of measures to prevent the violence from happening again. Chief Superintendent Heather Dixey said: 'Violence and disorder on Bournemouth beach will absolutely not be tolerated and anyone who is identified as being involved will be robustly dealt with.' As well as seizing alcohol, police will take away nitrous oxide and other illegal substances from beach-goers causing trouble. Officers will also ask disruptive sun-seekers to leave the beach, where necessary. A public space protection order has been put in place for the coastline from Sandbanks to Highcliffe, and gives police the power to deal with yobs who are aggressive, urinate in public, swear, play loud music or light a BBQ between 7am and 6pm. MailOnline has approached Dorset Police for comment about the brawl on Friday.

EXCLUSIVE Moment Brit is knocked unconscious after getting sucker-punched by Benidorm local while arguing with bouncers

This is the moment a British tourist was violently sucker-punched by a Spanish local after getting caught up in a brawl with Benidorm bouncers. Footage taken by a fellow bar-goer shows the unnamed Brit being slammed onto the floor by another man in the Spanish resort on Sunday night. According to an eyewitness, the man and his group were asked to leave the unknown bar by another reveller before a bouncer intervened and things got 'heated.' The Brit, who is dressed in white, can be seen being shoved by a group of men, while his friend steps in. As the exchange escalates, video shows the man being brutally punched in the face and falling on the floor, as his leg bends backwards towards his hip. A woman wearing a pink cowboy hat rushes to his aid and crouches over him, as a group of men continue to scuffle with the bouncers. An onlooker said: 'It's always the d***head Brits - it makes you ashamed to be a Brit sometimes. 'We'd been in there for two hours or so - it seemed a nice bar and all of a sudden we heard a bit of a commotion. 'There was a smaller guy who we think was a local and he looked like a bouncer but looked a bit too small to be one. 'He was asking them to leave, and then the larger bouncer came over and things got a bit heated. 'It looks like the smaller guy then knocks him out. 'He was out cold, and his leg looked dislocated.' The condition of the Brit who was floored in the Benidorm bar fight is not known. The bust-up comes just months after a British holidaymaker was left fighting for his life in intensive care after being punched by a bouncer in Benidorm. Andrew Frazer, 43, was on a lads' break in Spain in November when he was floored by the doorman with a single punch in an alleged unprovoked attack. His condition deteriorated after initial treatment and he had to undergo urgent surgery to have part of his skull cut away to relieve swelling on his brain. Andrew had flown out to Spain with his brother Ian and four other friends to attend Europe's largest fancy dress party in the holiday destination. Ian said that he had been three or four times previously to Benidorm's fancy dress festival which follows on from the Spanish resort's annual Fiesta, and regularly attracts 20,000 visitors. He said: 'Some of the lads had not been to Benidorm before so we took them to a couple of places, and landed up in this bar. 'We were leaving at around 1.30am. Andrew was outside waiting for us in the road and we were following him out. 'He was on the kerb edge of the footpath, and this bouncer was stood in front of him and in his face. 'My brother was looking over his shoulder to see when we were coming out, and this guy just punched him and knocked him out. 'He fell backwards and hit his head on the road because he was out cold. I ran over and held his head. 'A British nurse who was walking past with her husband rushed to help and propped his head up. She was horrified by what had happened and stayed with us. 'The next few minutes were a bit of a blur until the ambulance and police arrived. 'I was concentrating on my brother, and saw the police were talking to the bouncer, but in a casual manner. 'A police officer said to me, 'Do you want to press charges?', and I said: 'Mate, I am concentrating on my brother.' 'My mate asked them to have a look at the CCTV on the building, but the policeman turned round and said, 'It's broke'. 'Andrew was unconscious for several minutes, but it seemed like an age. The paramedics put him in an ambulance on a stretcher and took him to hospital. 'One friend went with him while I ran back to our apartment to get his passport. Then I caught a taxi to the hospital. 'Our friend was talking to reception at the hospital for five or ten minutes to get him signed in, and was then shown to a room where he was. 'A nurse had him bent over and was putting seven staples into this nasty wound in the back of his head. There were no scans or anything.' After paying a 200 euro fee to the private clinic, Ian took his brother back to their apartment in the taxi, where he slept on a sofa bed. Ian added: 'The next morning he woke up and I told him I was going out for fresh air, and he replied, 'I'm OK, I'm alright'. 'I then asked him his name and he gave the same reply. Every time he was asked a question, he said the same words and nothing else. 'He managed to get up and took his clothes off before going back to sleep. After that, he woke up and was slurring his words, and he spent the rest of the day sleeping. I thought he was just concussed. 'We were due to fly home on Saturday, and it was clear on the Friday that he was not fit to fly, so we called an ambulance. 'It was a struggle to put him in the wheelchair because he was a dead weight. When he was at the hospital, he had a scan and they found a bleed on his brain. 'The doctor said that if he did not have an operation he would die, and he was transferred to a hospital in Alicante. 'He was put in intensive care and his condition seemed to improve, meaning he could be moved to a neurology ward.' But things went downhill for Andrew after doctors said they had to operate him at once. Andrew spent two and a half hours in surgery having part of his skull removed Ian, a civil engineer, said: 'The neuro-surgeon told us that they have to wait for his brain swelling to go down before reattaching his skull, but that it could take up to one or two months. Just nine days before ending up in intensive care, Andrew, a father-of-two, had proposed to his long-term partner, Carrie. Carrie and Ian said they had formally reported the alleged attack to the Spanish police, but did not want to comment further, pending the investigation. Ian said they had a number of witnesses to the incident including the British nurse who initially gave first aid to Andrew.
