Martha Stewart stars in sexy Aussie ad with mystery man as she embraces sex symbol status at 83

Domestic goddess Martha Stewart is one week away from her 84th birthday, but don't expect her to retire to one of her sprawling estates along the US East Coast any time soon. The lifestyle mogul and businesswoman, who in the last 40 years has built a global empire and changed the face of homemaking, is still very much in her prime. Widely regarded as the original influencer, Stewart is much revered for her TV shows, lifestyle books, magazines and product lines that helped make her the first self-made female billionaire in US history. However, the 83-year-old has undergone an evolution of sorts in recent years – and she has welcomed this new direction in her career. 'I don't call it a reinvention, I call it an evolution,' she tells via Zoom. 'If you're evolving, you're changing. Reinvention means eliminating the past and making something new. But this is very different. This is evolving.' 'I'm the same person. I do pretty much the same things,' she adds. 'I just take everything to a new and different level. I think that that's really evolution, and I like it. I do not like to remain static. I never will. And change is good. It's good for everybody.' Stewart is even embracing her new sex symbol status, which she acquired thanks to that poolside selfie that almost broke the internet in 2020. She mastered the art of 'thirst traps' in the years that followed and, in 2023, she officially solidified her bombshell status by becoming the oldest model to grace the cover of theSports IllustratedSwimsuit Issue. 'I love being admired by men. Why not?' she says when asked about being a sex symbol. Stewart explains that while it's 'great' getting attention from the opposite sex, she makes sure her sexy photos are 'authentic' and aren't damaging to her brand. 'To me, it's all a lighthearted effort at making sure that first of all, your brand is safe, your brand is well admired, people will continue to buy your products and do it without any danger to anybody,' she says. 'That's really an important thing to me.' In line with her evolution, Stewart is not afraid to step out of the box. In an unexpected move, the lifestyle guru is now the ambassador for Rexona's new Whole Body Deodorant, appearing in a sexy Aussie TV commercial which she secretly filmed at the landmark Crypto Castle in Sydney back in May. A clip of the ad was shared online earlier this week, which featured Stewart in a silk robe with a barely-clad mystery man. But today it was revealed that her Sydney 'tryst' was in fact an ad for Rexona's new Whole Body Deodorant. 'I loved making the Rexona commercial at the Crypto Castle. We worked with a great crew who were very funny and had a sense of humour,' she recalls. 'The whole commercial has a really lighthearted sense of humour about it because we're talking about body odour, which is not the sexiest subject matter.' In the ad, Stewart uses her signature dry wit to demonstrate how to apply the deodorant to your thighs, breasts and feet, among other places. 'I know what you're wondering, Australia. And the answer is yes, you can use it 'down under,'' she muses in the Unilever ad. 'The whole idea of something like this, you have to do this with kind of a cheekiness and a forthrightness because we're talking about an all over the body deodorant,' she explains to us. And the mogul is speaking from experience. In 1956, aged just 15, Stewart worked as a model and filmed her very first TV commercial for Lifebuoy, which coincidentally was an all-over-the-body deodorant soap also made by Unilever. 'I laughed when was offered this spot for Rexona because it's a similar kind of product, although that was a soap and this is a spray or a cream,' she reflects. 'So I just thought, how funny – full circle. And I thought, 'Oh, that'll be fun.'' Stewart was last in Australia in May for the Vivid festival, when she filmed the Rexona commercial. But she has plans to return to our shores in the near future. 'I've been to Australia quite a few times – I've been to Tasmania, Sydney, Melbourne, to other places in and around that, mostly the East Coast,' she says. 'I do want to go to the West Coast, and I haven't had a chance to do that yet. But what I've discovered is the food and the vegetation and the fabulous produce that you produce in Australia, second to no place in the world.' Among the many hats Stewart wears – model, mogul, influencer – there's one that she's taken a liking to: 'Tradwife', aka a woman who embraces traditional values and gender roles. 'I've pioneered in a lot of different industries and a lot of different product developments, and I am always willing to step out and do things,' she says. 'I'm now also being known as the original Tradwife.' 'I'm very proud of myself for being a Tradwife, because why not? I mean, I raised my own sheep and my own chickens, made my own hams from my backyard pig, and grew my own vegetables – that's all Tradwife stuff. 'When they affix a name like 'Tradwife', it sounds kind of awful. But it's actually kind of cute. And the Tradwives that are very popular now are the hottest things on earth.' And Stewart has this word of advice for all the Meghan Markles and Gwyneth Paltrows out there trying to emulate her success in the lifestyle space. 'If they can teach as much as I have taught and be as authentic as I have been, then they will be successful,' she says.

Influencer & mum, 40, dies on operating table during ‘three-in-one' plastic surgery op after fat injection into her bum

AN INSTAGRAM influencer and mum tragically died during a "three-in-one" plastic surgery op as she received a fat injection into her bum. Famous businesswoman Natália Cavanellas Thomazella, 40, went into cardiac arrest on the operating table - with her death being treated as "suspicious". 6 6 6 Natália experienced complications as she underwent liposuction, buttock enhancement, and breast implant revision. Her family said she was in good health and had no pre-existing conditions before her tragic death. And she didn't experience any complications when she underwent a breast augmentation two years ago. Natália went into cardiac arrest as she was receiving a fat injection into her bum. The tragedy unfolded during the final stages of her three-in-one surgery in São Paulo, Brazil. The police report said: "The medical team reportedly began resuscitation efforts. "And although the patient initially responded, they were ultimately unsuccessful." Natália's surgeon's lawyers said: 'Unfortunately, the patient developed a serious complication consistent with a pulmonary embolism. "[This is] a rare, but recognised occurrence in medical literature, even when all preventive measures are taken." Doctors suspect the cardiac arrest may have been caused by the injected fat causing a blockage in a blood vessel. Reality star and model dies, 32, as cops break down her door to find her body left for 20 days A post-mortem examination will determine her exact cause of death. Natália was a corporate networking specialist and the founding director of a public relations agency. In March, she was incredibly recognised by the São Paulo City Council as one of 100 outstanding female entrepreneurs. She boasted more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. Natália leaves behind a daughter and a husband, who made a heartfelt tribute to her on Tuesday. Her grieving husband said: 'We all know what an incredible woman Natália was - beautiful, independent, highly professional, full of joy, and with so many other wonderful qualities. 'Sadly, Natália left us yesterday, but she will live on forever in our hearts and memories. 'We were married for several years, and from that marriage came the greatest gift of my life - our daughter, Manoella. 'Manoella is so much like Nat, even in her personality. 'She's very outgoing, just like her mum - I think she takes after her in every way, and today I see what a blessing that is." He added: "I'll always tell Manoella what an amazing woman her mother was - the kind of person everyone loved and admired - and I'll make sure we always keep her memory alive." 6 6 6

I'm in £3.7m debt but still live a millionaire lifestyle with less work – people think I'm a lunatic but it's brilliant

JUST seven years ago, Abi Hookway was a broke single mum struggling to get by. Now, the 39-year-old has totally transformed her life, building an £8 million property portfolio and a £10 million business. 7 7 7 But having said that, the Property Expert and Entrepreneur has confessed that she is in £3.7million of debt. Despite this, the mum-of-two isn't bothered by the debt and still lives a very lavish, millionaire lifestyle. Abi doesn't work a standard 9 to 5 job and people have called her a 'lunatic' as a result, but she isn't phased, as she's too busy living the dream. Posting on social media, the businesswoman, who spends £800 a month on a housekeeper and has £70,000 in savings, got candid on her financial situation. Instead of working for someone else, Abi earns money by property flipping - she buys a property, renovates it, and sells it for a profit. As she filmed directly from a concert, she said: "I'm £3.7million in debt and I sleep like a baby - honestly, it is the best time of my life right now being in so much debt. 'Most normal people would go 'oh my gosh, you're in so much debt, you're a lunatic, what are you doing?' - for me, it makes me happy. 'Why? Because my debt is good debt. It's leveraged on properties that pay for my lifestyle.' Abi then explained: 'I don't work a 40-hour a week job, I don't have a boss, I do what I want, when I want, because I've got all these houses paying passive income to me so I can do what I want in life, I can be at peace and fulfilled doing what I love most.' Abi stressed the importance of understanding how to earn passive income and knowing the difference between 'good debt and bad debt.' I racked up £15k debt - here's how I paid it off as a single mum She acknowledged: 'We're taught all debt is bad, but it's not - good debt is leveraged on assets to make you money. Figure it out.' To have debt leveraged on assets involves borrowing money specifically to acquire or invest in assets with the expectation that those assets will generate enough income or appreciate in value to not only cover the cost of the debt (interest and principal payments) but also provide a net positive return. Despite her 'debt', Abi has an £8 million portfolio, which includes buy-to-let properties, holiday homes in the Lake District and Peak District, and commercial properties. And her ambitions don't stop there, as in the next 10 years, she plans to become a billionaire. 7 7 7 How exactly did Abi get started? After finding herself consumed by 'fear and anxiety' as her credit card debt spiralled, Abi took the plunge in property flipping. Her breakthrough came during a conversation with her dentist, who admitted he'd love to invest in property but didn't have the time. Abi seized the opportunity and her dentist agreed to fund her first property flip, in exchange for a 10% return on his investment. Her first project was a neglected house in Doncaster that had been vacant for 18 months. Using her dentist's investment, Abi successfully flipped the property, paid back the loan with a 10% return and walked away with £72,000 in just six months. Abi previously told Fabulous: 'I said goodbye to my £24,000 debt, and the rest of the money was reinvested. 'I'd just made double my annual salary in less than six months, working less than six hours a week. Why wouldn't I do it again?' Now, Abi earns between £50,000 and £100,000 with every property flip. 5 Tips to Get on The Property Ladder Saving for your first property is tough, but it is possible. Here are a few steps for first-time buyers. 1. Cut back on luxuries and start saving Consistent monthly saving is the best way to accumulate enough money to get on the ladder, for a deposit and purchase fees. To do this, you need to take a look at your monthly outgoings and think about what can be cut out - holidays, new clothes, weekly takeaway. Using a savings calculator can help you to establish how long you will need to save for a deposit. Based on your income, you can figure out a realistic amount to save each month. 2. Have a realistic property search Set a budget for the property price you would like to buy, and think realistically about the location and size of your property. While we all may want that house with a view or extra bedroom, can you afford it? 3. Research Help To Buy and Shared Ownership schemes The government has introduced a few ways to help first-time-buyers get on the property ladder and they're great for those on lower incomes or to buy a property in more expensive areas like London. 4. Consider buying with another person Investing with somebody else you know is a sure way to get onto the property ladder. You only need to save half the amount you would otherwise, so you can work towards getting your property sooner. You can invest with a friend, family or partner. Naturally, it is a big step and a huge commitment so be open and honest about what you expect from living together — if you haven't already. 5. Talk to a mortgage broker and get your documents in order A mortgage broker can tell you exactly how much you can borrow for a mortgage, what you will need to pay monthly and in upfront costs. Abi added: 'My most recent deal is a three-acre plot of land used to store caravans and containers. I've got about six or seven holiday homes and four or five commercial properties. 'The next big goal is taking my business to the £100 million mark. "This year, my business should turn over around £10 million, but I want to fast-track it.' Social media users react The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ abihookwayproperty, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 414,400 views. It's also amassed 20,200 likes, 121 comments and 1,036 saves. Social media users were stunned by Abi's claims and raced to the comments to share their thoughts. One person said: 'I want to do what you are doing.' Another added: 'Passive income is a game changer. Love it!'
